This is the closest coffee shop to the ferry dock in St. Ignace, so if you need food or beverage before heading onto or hopping off of the island ferry, this is a good place to visit. The decor is not my style, but is homey and comfy, with couches and recliners and mismatched furniture. It's almost like someone's mother-in-law died and her estate donated all of her furniture to Boardwalk. It looks like a nice place to sit a while and enjoy coffee, even though I didn't do that. My visit to Boardwalk was quick -- I just hit it and quit it. There's also a small general store, with things like local jams, fancy tomato paste and canned tomatoes, tortilla chips, cookies and other little fun durable goods.
