They do not take reservations, it's first come first serve. You wait in line, the staff will allow you to go in to order when it's your turn. The staff allows a few people in at a time. Once you're inside, there is another line where you order -- on the left, you order for dine in, and on the right, you order for to go orders. We waited outside for 35 minutes. And once inside, we waited for 10 minutes. After you place your order for dine in, the staff gives you a number placard. You can choose any seating that's available inside or outside. Seating is open seating. Fountain drinks are self serve; sauces are self serve as well. A server will bring your meal to you. Our meal was brought out to us within 10 minutes of ordering. Our meal was incredible; very delicious and fulfilling -- it does live up to its hype. The prices are actually very affordable and fairly priced. I would recommend Paia Fish Market Waikīkī but keep in mind that there's always a line and wait time. I feel that it's not very organized but the staff is very kind and the food was delicious.

I was about…read moretwo weeks out from our flight to Hawaii, when I started to ponder the question: Does Hawaii have any Mexican Food? The quick answer is Yes, but then it becomes a question is it any good? On our first night in Waikiki, we walked passed the Surf N Turf Taco. It was really close to the Hotel which was a total relief. Though I was really trying my best to get out of my comfort zone in terms of food department. Surf N Turf Taco became my fail safe - though wasn't aware how soon that would be. One of the other things I quickly learned, it's tough to find a Dr.Pepper on Island. Was so relieved when I saw Surf N Turf Taco had it on tap. What truly makes this place special is the owner Grant. Very friendly individual that totally made you feel like welcome. It's a smaller shop but there was plenty of room to grab a quick bite. I did end up picking up more than just a Dr.Pepper and was pretty impressed with the Burrito and Salsa. Was relieved to find Mexican Food day 1.

4/10/26 single slice with a "twist"…read more I got to this location and it was fair that it be busy cause of the rain. I went around and looked at the 5offerings... it was easy for me to choose it had to be quick so I ordered at aloha by the slice. single slice with a "twist" I say twist cause initially I wanted Sausage and humbly the worker (Teddy M) expressed nicely that they didn't have sausage and I asked for ham... now remember I wanted the "single" slice with one"topping" and no sausage but ham was available. If many of you follow my reviews... I don't care for Hawaiian pizza.... The last Hawaiian pizza I had was at "Spitfire Grill" in the Dukes lane Market and that got 5stars BECAUSE- it had pork grinds on the Hawaiian pizza - which by the way is really delicious and I found it an epic addition to the pizza The reason for my 5stars this time is because Teddy decided that he give me a Slice of Hawaiian pizza that has the "Ham" & Pineapple on it.... Even when I asked for the single topping slice... he was perhaps going above and beyond ((there was an impending line in back of me)) so he choose to take the slice already made warm it in the wood fire stove then take it and cut in half.... He did this for the right person... me!!!! Happiness to hit one customer with a slice that had two toppings... I will add that I realized this may not go as well for other people... but if your one to understand the food service part of it then you get where my 5stars comes from... Thanks Aloha by the slice... I'll be going back again. (I'm still not a sucker for pineapple on my pizza)

I came here as a single parent to a 4 year and that context matters and you know what's up if…read moreyou're a parent. Ate here on Friday night and Saturday night. Night 1, ordered slices from Aloha pizzeria and Hashi & Spoon (Karaage). Decent all the way around. Night 2 was strange. Ordered Karaage again (my 4 yo loves chicken). And tried to go to get Mexican food from La Pina, and short of saying I'm ready to order, I tried to make eye contact with any one of the 4 teenagers / young 20yos, to infer as much besides obviously standing in front of the register--they were more concerned with an inside joke between each other to bother with me and my son. After waiting a full minute with still acknowledgment, I counted down from 10 out loud to my son and when I reached zero with still no acknowledgment, I dipped. Maybe that was ok, because the al pastor was the only thing that looked somewhat fresh. Went to Greek grotto instead and boy, you really pay the penalty tax for eating right there in Waikiki. Not only was one of the orders wrong despite asking and the workers correcting each other, the gyro plate was abysmally small. Barely 3 oz of gyro meat. I didn't find out all of this till I opened up the container at our hotel room. Irritated, I couldn't go back because I've got a tired 4 yo. The chicken karaage was slightly burnt, which means the outer crust was a tinge bitter, and mostly cornmeal, totally different from yesterday, which also disappointing. Not coming back. Only giving two stars because the service at Aloha Pizzeria was solid and the pizza crust tasted good even cold the next day.

After browsing on Yelp I found Honolulu Tacos. Even knowing the address, this place was a little tricky to find. In any case, it ended up being one of six small stalls all next to each other with shared seating. There was a single lady working here on this day and she quickly took both my order and my dad's and our food was ready quickly. For dinner on this evening I chose a carnitas taco, a Korean taco and a fish taco while my dad went with the three crispy tacos. Our food came out at about the same time and since we were tired we decided to take it back to our hotel room. Once there I worked my way through all three tacos. First up was the carnitas which had a nice pork flavor and was incredibly moist. Second was the Korean taco which reminded me a lot of the carnitas but with kimchi added in for a bit of tang and extra flavor. Last but certainly not least was the fish taco which was larger than the others and ended up being really good. The breading was crispy while the fish inside was tender and I also enjoyed the sauce they put on it. My dad enjoyed his crispy tacos as well, even if he thought the price was a bit on the higher side. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. We both enjoyed our food and I really liked the setup with the small food stall pod.
