Ordered a large pizza and a Greek salad for delivery. The order arrived earlier than quoted and the delivery guy was very friendly. The pizza and the Greek salad were both excellent. The pizza was cooked to perfection and it had just the right amount of fresh toppings. I ordered it with garlic, tomatoes and basil. What's the first thing that comes to mind when I hear Garlic Knots? Buttery bows of dough. And that's just what they are, small little bite-sized knots of dough, with cheese inside. The problem, I'm not tasting much garlic. I expected to walk in and smell that awesome aroma of garlic. Wasn't happening. Bummer. But I did walk in and was greeted by a very friendly cashier with a happy smile and an overwhelmingly great attitude. They have a pretty extensive menu, pizza (whole and by the slice), calzones, Stromboli, lasagna... it's a cute little place built more for take out than dine in. BUt there is plenty of tables and booths- plus wine and beer. There are some great lunch specials, which are good everyday until 4pm. You can grab a slice of pie (picked up that lingo in NY), a basket of garlics knots (with marinara to dunk them in) and a fountain drink for $4. How can you not love a place that serves "Vinnie No Neck" Sangiovese wine? So, the next time you want some knots of garlic and you're not a vampire...this is your place. read more

I have ordered pizza from the Garlic Knot about 3-4 times. The pizza is not bad but the white pizza is fairly bland However, the reason for this review is the cheesecake, or should I call it a cheesenibble. I ordered a piece of cheesecake to go and it came in one of those small to go boxes. Carrying it out to my car I thought "gee this is very light". I open the box to see a tiny little sliver. I went back inside and the 2 ladies at the counter could only say, sorry that is how they come pre-sliced. I told them they should either include TWO pieces then or charge less! $3.50 for maybe 3 bites, INSANE and a rip off!!! I tried to upload a picture but do not see option to, but I can tell you it was about 2 1/2" long and about not even 1" wide at the widest part! read more

I've ordered pizza here and it was quite delicious. The Greek salad was a decent size and tasty too. However the eggplant Parmesan hero? Not so good... Couldn't really taste the eggplant for all the breading. I guess I'll stick with the pizza. read more

I had this place two or three times in a week long period. It wasn't because their food was awesome, but because it was the only place I could find that delivered to the Residence Inn in Westminster. Don't get me wrong, the food was fine, but not some place you eat three times a week. read more

I thought this was the best pizza I had so far in Denver although in fairness, I don't venture out much outstide of the chain delivery pizza places. Therefore, I may not be a good judge. We had a half pepperoni and have cheese pizza and an order of garlic knots. The sauce was good and I especially liked the dough. The garlic knots were the best. They are really garlicy, crispy on the outside and kind of doughy on the inside. Delivery was fast; no complaints. read more

I've recently relocated to the area and wanted to try a pizza place that wasn't a chain. I picked The Garlic Knot based on reviews and proximity to my apartment. It was excellent and a great example of New York Style Pizza. I thought the crust had just the right amount of bite and the toppings were neither too little or too much. We ordered The B.Q.E which has pepperoni, mushroom, black olive and tomato on it. An excellent combination and I'm definitely a fan. I'll be trying another pizza of theirs in the future and it was a positive experience. read more

I wish I could give an honest review of this place. I live literally 8 minutes away, I googled it. But it's on the wrong side of Sheridan. Ha, 2 blocks. Guess they only deliver within a 6 minute radius. I have been to other locations. However, this experience has made me prefer papa John's... even if it sucks. They still deliver. read more

I downloaded Yelp just to write a review about this place that's how bad the service is. They refuse to deliver on the east side of Sheridan despite it being less than 3 miles/15 minutes away. God help me any time I try to go in for pickup though. The cashiers are despicable and rude every single time. This one time, a woman told me to "hang on" and told me to "shut up." She was not doing anything more important than listening to a personal story from her coworker. The Garlic Knot makes fantastic food but if you value and respect yourself and your time, don't bother dealing with these guys. read more

I like white pizza my husband and son prefer red. In comes the Garlic Knot's Mulberry. It's the best of both worlds with half and half. I live around the corner so I can't even count the times I've dined in or gotten delivery. Service is always prompt and polite and the pizza is delicious. read more

My kids and I love this place. For the price of a Dominoes or Pizza Hut dinner we order delivery from here and have much better pizza! The cheesy garlic knots are a favorite as well as the cinnaknots. We've had almost half the pizzas and haven't had a bad one yet! Best thing is we can order in and watch a movie while eating it. Food is good but I would definitely not order for delivery. I live less than 1/4 mile from here (& was feeling lazy). It took 2 hours.. A small cheese pizza and ceasar salad. Pizza was cold, cheese had solidified and the croutons on my salad were soggy. I can't imagine how long it must have been sitting. Probably won't order from them again.. this was my second time and similar experience the first time around. read more

First of all, for being called the Garlic Knot, their garlic knots were so mediocre. Not even garlic-y really. Wouldn't bother me as much if it wasn't literally the title of their restaurant. Pizza was pretty good, very cheesy and satisfyingly thick- could definitely use more tomato sauce though. Also, for one pizza, the toppings were well-engrained, but for the other we got, we see how some other reviews are relevant-- the vegetable toppings kindof fell right off. Ok for pizza or pasta. Not authentic New York style but good for a franchise west of the Mississippi. Yes it is called the garlic knot but way to much garlic in the sauce. Kitchen appears to be dirty. Used baking pans and large amount of food on the floor in the kitchen. As you walk in front door you look right into the kitchen. Not what you want to see when you walk into a restaurant . Friendly service but waitress seems to have lots of family and friends stopping in. She spent a lot of time hugging everyone and not washing her hands before touching drinks and food going to other patrons. read more

Me and a friend put in two separate orders (because we were going separate places) we both ordered cheese garlic knots. When we arrived with our two separate payments, we payed and then were handed one bag. Our knots were mixed together in one container. It was impossible to separate. The food is decent but not good enough to compensate for the always awful service. They never have more than one driver working so delivery times are always over an hour and even carry out orders take 30+ minutes and are never ready when you get there. Staff is rude to boot. Good pizza, calzones and the garlic knots are nice too. Tried the place for the firs time today with some coworkers, one of whom loves these guys (apparently they're a chain of sorts) - anyway, I'd seen the place right next to a Buffalo Wings place in the strip mall, and it was on my list of pizza to try out. Overall I wasn't disappointed. They have Coke Zero in the soda machine - call me picky, but I'll drive zero then water before ever drinking diet-choke, but that's a different review. You order up front and sit down, and they bring the food out. The seating is cheap and simple, but they do have silverware and plates, so it's not quite ghetto NY pizza. Now as for the pizza, it's cooked properly, looks good, and is good. I had a calzone while watching the coworkers demolish two different pizza's (one with anchovies)(yuck!). Anyway, my calzone was cheap and small - but had the perfect blend of cheeses - these guys used the real stuff too - the grease was top notch high-grade heart-attack stuff - the stuff you want! The tomato sauce was fresh and perfect as well - served not hot, not cold - but at just the right temperature. Now I wouldn't recommend this as a fancy date night, but if you're taking the kids out for za, and want something good, this is your place. I didn't see any of the big pies out while I was there - but the menu goes right up where it needs to be for a big pizza. First time trying this place and probably my last. All the toppings are minced the only thing you can tell what it is is the pepperoni. As for price it's expensive for the quality of pizza I did like the garlic knots but overall experience was less than impressive too many good pizza places to go to rather than put up with poor service and poor quality of food. read more

If I could give less than one star I would. Ordered through GrubHub and did not receive my order almost 2.5 hours later. Absolutely ridiculous. Called to ask where my order was, and was told that online orders got pushed to the back burner due to a fundraiser that was happening at the location. I'm a very patient and understanding person, as I've worked in the food service and hospitality industry for upwards of 8 years. I would not be as upset if I had been called and told the situation, rather than waiting 2+ hours and calling on my own. Only tipped the driver because I assume it was not his fault for it taking so long. read more

Just wanted to say that we have a pizza from garlic knot on occasion. It is usually just ok but we keep going back due to the fact that it is close. Tonight's pizza had almost no toppings. We ordered 3 toppings. Actually the toppings were just put in the middle. Must have been the cooks first day!!! Good lord. Give my money's worth for $19. I know everybody works hard, but please show more pride in making a pizza. But, after a glass or two of wine... I forgot about the look of the pizza and actually enjoys the flavor! read more

The Garlic Knot has been our go-to place for baked ziti with meatballs for several years. Really good. A couple of months ago, I ordered the baked ziti take out, as usual, and it was very poor. The meatballs were made out of some kind of cheap sausage-like meat (no burger), which had a chewy kind of texture. Very poor quality! My husband mentioned it to the person out front, who simply shrugged and said he was sorry we didn't like our order. I don't know what they did to the ziti and meatballs, but they ruined the meatballs. Please don't go there; everything is overpriced anyway, and the portions are not as generous as they used to be. read more
