    A tomato basil slice.

My Meetup group, NY Pizza Group of Colorado, met at SliceWorks in Thornton and had a fantastic time. The Sicilian pizza and meatball parmigiana hero were delicious. There are plenty of tables, so my group did not feel rushed to leave. The staff was super nice and the music was played at a nice quiet volume so that we were all able to engage in great conversation. We'll definitely be back soon.

Take out was without incident, ready when they said it would be. Looks like someone closed the box on the top of a marinara container. Let's see how it tastes before I decide whether or not to come back

The pizza was good, service wasn't great and the restaurant needs a good cleaning and deodorizer.

Seated in a booth. Promptly approached by server Harumy, quickly provided with a hot carafe of coffee and condiments. The ambiance is clean, cheerful, and inviting. There is music but it isn't too loud. I ordered the mini-monkey bread (pictured), essentially a biscuit dappled with cinnamon sugar streusel. I didn't love it; I thought it tasted too salty. Still, I finished it so it couldn't have been that bad! I ordered the Breakfast Quesadilla (eggs, chiles, cheese, onions, drizzled with avocado cream and served with red salsa), which was very good. Harumy checked on me, and brought the check promptly. You pay at the counter, not directly to the server. I would have given 4.5 stars but Yelp doesn't enable this, so I rounded up to 5 stars. Definitely give Bluebird Cafe a try!

I had to ask the hostess to ask our waitress to bring our drinks because we never saw our waitress again after placing our order. She brought the waters and 1 minute later our food arrived lukewarm. The potatoes were not cooked. We were never checked on again. Then the check came, but the extra bacon I ordered "to go" had not arrived. So she went to get that. We paid at the front with the hostess. It was an extra $5 for 2 pieces of bacon. $2.50 per slice. Is that inflation or price gouging? This is the first time in my life I have never left a tip. I'm usually a really good tipper. And I feel bad about it, but I also want to be taken care of in order to give a tip for good service. This was not good service and the food was mediocre. Would not return.

The place was packed when we arrived but we were seated in about 10 minutes. Service was fast and friendly the whole time, even with the crowd. It is a smaller space so it fills up quickly and reservations are definitely a good idea, especially on weekends. Overall it is a great spot and I am already looking forward to coming back.

We were called about 5 minutes into our estimated 30-minute wait and ended up seated at the bar. That's not usually my first choice, but it turned out to be a great spot. Everything is so organized, and I loved having a front-row seat to watch how thoughtfully (and deliciously) all the ingredients were arranged and served. I'll be happy to return, and I'll absolutely be recommending this unexpected gem to others. Thank you, Yonsei, for a wonderful evening and such an enjoyable experience. I left smiling--and from the happy chatter around me, it sounded like plenty of others did too.

It was getting pretty late, which can always feel a little awkward at some restaurants, but the staff was super welcoming right off the bat and didn't rush us at all. The place looks great inside, too, really nice atmosphere and modern decor. We started off with some drinks. I had the Michelada, which was killer. Spicy, savory, and refreshing exactly what I wanted. My wife got the la tradicional margarita, and she loved it. You can tell they use decent tequila and fresh lime, not that sugary pre-made stuff. The food hit the spot, too. My wife ordered the Birria Tacos, super tender meat, crispy shells, and the consommé for dipping was rich and flavorful. I went with the Poblano Chicken, and it was delicious. The sauce was creamy with just the right amount of roasted pepper kick to it. Big shout-out to Daniella, our server. She was a total sweetheart and took great care of us even though it was late. If you're in Broomfield, definitely give this place a shot. Good food, good people.

I loved how each flaky but delivered on its promise of scrumptiousness and subtlety. I would come here just for that honestly, though I've heard it's a great lunch place as well. The big letdown for both of us last night was the service. They were slow to take our orders, slow to get refills or ask if we needed anything, and slow to get us our bill. It was a trifecta of ineffectiveness. Our server was nice enough, but he definitely didn't make us feel like we were a priority at all. And that's something you should never do as a restaurant. The place was nice-looking enough and they had good energy from its patrons. It's just a shame the lack of good service kind of ruins the experience and makes us not want to visit this particular branch again on a return visit, whenever that might be.
