Turkey guacamole melt and dill potato salad.

Solid lunch place. I had never been here, but had heard mixed reviews. Matter of fact, an old friend used to work here, but I somehow never managed to check it out. I was helping my mother buy some things one Saturday afternoon and we stopped in for lunch. Not knowing what they had, I can say my expectations were not very high; if I'm being honest. I didn't know they had outdoor seating, but was pleasantly surprised that they had a few tables out front. Upon walking in, they have a couple take away fridges. They weren't very full, but they had an assortment of things. They have paper menus and their special is on a chalk board behind the counter. Cute decor I didn't know what I wanted, but ordered the daily special. It was the best value for you buck. Turkey guacamole sandwich. It came with a side and a drink. The food was delicious. It was pretty massive too. I only ate half of what I ordered. Price is a little high. Their fruit tea was pretty good as well. I would come back for lunch.

Very clean and a nice variety of items to pick from. Super friendly staff and Amazingly fresh and tasty food. I'll be back to this place. Also they have take home items cold or take and bake. It all looked so good. Such a bright and refreshing spot just when I was about to give up on Clarksville having any place yummy!

Asian Salad after a few bites. Pretty huge! Very tasty.

Our first visit! I had the Asian Salad with Chicken Breast and my wife ordered a BLT/soup combo. The salad was amazing! Dressing was an excellent accompaniment and was chock full of sesame seeds. The salad assembler left out the chicken breast, however. When she brought out the missing protein, I discovered I had paid for some cubed chicken breast meat and not an entire breast. To be fair, I could not have finished it if there had been a whole breast. What the cubes amounted to was about a third of a breast. This was a man-sized salad and I would order it again. My wife had a Choose Two with a half BLT and a bowl of Baked Potato Soup. Soup was well-flavored, but just slightly too thin. The BLT's shortcoming was the B part. The bacon, as the lead component was very thin and wimpy because it had been microwaved and lacked crispiness. We had two self-serve sodas. Totaled to just over $31.00. I thought that was a little pricy, but as we recover from the COVID pandemic I think we'll see more of this as small shops try to figure out how to add more workers without going broke. They have entrees in a refrigerated case. Lasagna. Grape salad. Dessert items. Most definitely worth a visit if you've never been. We'll be back to try other menu items.

I adore this place. Always such friendly service and the food never disappoints. I love all of their salads and the food is always so instagram worthy I love coming here for lunch to decompress with my friends and coworkers. It gets a bit busy but that's because the food is great and it's totally worth it:

Cafe club special with broccoli salad

Rare find in Clarksville! I have eaten here a few times and i love this little cafe!! well lets talk about why! The staff here is wonderful! lots of big smiles and helpful suggestions on the menu, they all know it inside and out. The cafe itself is like any other cafe with a big open seating area that is kept very clean. They keep cute little table settings fresh on the tables that add a nice touch. Its easy to get in and out quick if not eating in. They have pre-made items in the cooler to the left as you walk in and then straight ahead is the counter to order/pay. The front wall is floor to ceiling windows that let tons of light in and make it a very bright warm setting. The food is wonderfully fresh, traditional but perfect! My last visit i had the cafe club special sandwich with a side of their famous broccoli salad. It was amazing! the toast was lightly buttered and perfectly toasted. The bacon and meats were delicious and all the toppings on the sandwich were fresh. The broccoli salad is just amazing and i highly recommend it. Its a little rich and is topped with bacon (I'm sure it can be ordered without). They do have a beer license with a handful basic selection. most cafe's do not go the extra to sell beer. The coolers have side dishes and items that are cold or need reheating like their amazing quiche. Another note is that the menu itself is mostly personal receipts from the owner and some from others but it make for this great homemade or home cooked feel. Its fresh its happy and its the best cafe in Clarksville. I love this place and will return again and again!!

I went to get lunch with a friend here on December 19, 2018. It was our first time eating here! It was a cute little cafe area with good food. It didn't have a big selection of meals. It was kind of weird to order. You order up front and pay first before getting ur meal. I got the chicken tortilla casserole with a side of sour cream. It was really good. Small portion. I was still hungry after wards

Fresh, delicious food! Love the ability to pop in and get an easy dinner for my family without doing fast food. Highly recommend.

It is with some measure of disappointment that I visited and write a review for Cheesy J's. Based…read moreon their menu and my love of crispy toasty cheesy sandwiches, I had fairly high hopes, despite the fairly mediocre Yelp ratings. But I'm afraid I need to confirm that my hopes were unjustified. First, some good bits. The staff was super friendly and helpful, though with an establishment (like this) where you stand in line and order at the counter, staff quality doesn't enter as much into the overall impression of a place as with a sit-down full-service establishment. As senior citizens, we got a 15% discount, which is a substantially larger discount than we generally see for seniors. The pickles were pretty good. My wife said that her pickles were the best part of her meal. For me, the pickles and the cream soda were kinda tied for goodness. The washroom was pretty clean. The eating area was nicely set up and I didn't notice any un-bussed tables (though it appears that diners are expected to bus their own tables, which I did). And now, the rest. My wife had The Dip, Wet. First, we were a bit confused that ordering "Wet" meant that they would put the Jus on in the process of constructing the sandwich, rather than providing Jus with the sandwich for dipping. But the staff was happy to provide a container of Jus. She found the sandwich overall to be sufficiently "meh" that she asked me whether I really wanted to take the leftover half sandwich home. I thought that since it wasn't actively bad, I'd go ahead and finish it later. I had Cheesy Brisket. I thought it was kinda OK, though the meat was not nearly as tender as I expect from a brisket dish. (My first bite, I couldn't fully bite off a piece of the brisket, so the entire slice slid out of the sandwich.) My wife thought that the meat tasted bad. I thought that the taste was OK; it was just that it could have stood some additional cooking time to get tender. Oh, the best part of the sandwich was the crispy cheesy bits around the edge. Both came with a "taste" or sample of their tomato soup. This was useful, as we both now know that we would not be happy buying the tomato soup. I don't think that it is Campbell's, but I think that the quality of taste is comparable. My wife had the combo with a side of cole slaw which was not horrible, but she didn't eat very much of it. I had the combo with a side of Mac & Cheese. For me, freezer section Mac & Cheese from Stouffer's is pretty good and I give it a solid 3 stars. And, for me, the Kraft box with the orange powder is a solid 1 star. This was somewhere in between. I had a few bites of it, but it wasn't worth eating or taking home to eat later. Their drinks are mostly Pepsi products, plus Iced Tea (sweet and non-sweet). I started off with unsweet tea, which I found to taste a bit odd and weak. So I dumped it out and got the cream soda, which was pretty good. In summary, while Cheesy J's is not actively bad, I don't see myself choosing to return. P.S. I didn't notice until I got home that the menu they gave me does not have all of their sides listed. Not sure whether anything else might be missing. P.P.S. I didn't notice until later that I was charged $1.16 for "Advantage Program". Unsure what this is, as I didn't order it.

I appreciated the amount of cheese oozing out of my sandwich and the burst of flavor from my Rajin Cajun. My family member was equally satisfied with the brisket. You get picked and a little cup of tomato concoction for dipping. The sweet potato fries had a nice buttery taste and comes with a sweet icing (but doesn't need it). Next time I'll try their potatoes. If you're concerned about price points, this one is strictly about the convenience-not a value meal. Enjoy
