I have had multiple really great experiences with this golf store. Nate and Bill are knowledgable without being pushy or high pressure. Of course they want to make a sale, but appear to be more interested in cultivating a long term customer out of me over gimmicky fancy sales tactics. Can you save money by buying online? Yes and No. I am about to purchase some new Mizuno irons through Golf Mart and the cheapest I found them on ebay was $70 less.... all things considered. But the ebay clubs were not +1/2" like I need... and they had standard Mizzy M-21 grips that I would have had to spend about $80 changing out to what I really like. So for me there is a definite $70-$100 value I will be paying above and beyond the ebay cheapies that aren't to my exact specs. If you are looking for irons, they have a strike plate, launch monitor, swing speed gauge and a sales staff willing to spend 30 minutes or whatever to get you properly fitting into the right clubs & specs... Nate has said he spends hours with some folks who want to demo 3 or 4 different club sets! Does the ebay retailer have that for you? Being fit into your clubs to match your exact swing plane and speed is an invaluable must for this game. Support your local brick and Mortar store! Good Grief! Golf Mart is a fountain of knowledge that wants to bend over backwards to get you into clubs and gear that makes you giddy on the golf course... WHY?? So that you will come back and make another visit. Is top notch service, fitting & a 90 day return policy worth nothing anymore??? Is being able to handle the actual clubs right there and then and take them home with you w/ 100% confidence it is fitted EXACTLY TO YOUR GAME an expendable golf club selection feature now? No Way. BTW... I don't know what the female who reviewed this store before me is talking about because I actually have seen Nate helping females while I demo the latest driver. Walking in, one would assume the staff are the best of friends, work is their favorite place to be, and their greatest joy is giving the customer the best possible experience. Faron summoned Jonas to answer a question I had about driver trouble. Wrong equipment, swing issue, or both? Jonas invited me to the fitting station to hit some balls with my club and gather some data. Soon diagnosed an out-to-in path, and way too much shaft flex. Combined, it was hopeless. After a number of swings, a few club head/shaft combos, and a swing tip or two, I added distance like finding a fountain of youth, and the ball flights were on or very close to the target line. After getting dialed in, Jonas had me try my old club again for comparison. The slice returned and distance vanished. I bought the new club and have enjoyed the best drives I've had in years and my scores dropped. Time with Jonas combined the peaceful confidence of working with a true MASTER, with the comfortable joy of hanging out with a close friend. If you have questions, The Golf Mart has answers. When I was told Brandon was a good club fitter, that was like saying the desert is warm, ice is cool, or the ocean is moist. What an understatement!! Brandon quickly set me up with a 3 Wood that really flies and added 20+ yards to my total. It was easy to hit (no mishits!) and my confidence in my new stick is so great I can't wait to play it on my next round. Par 5s, beware: Brandon has weaponized my bag and ye shall be humbled!
