We found this using Yelp and were not disappointed. The breakfast was delicious. I got fried eggs over easy that were perfect, bacon and French toast. My husband got eggs, potatoes, toast and bacon. Working in the area and seen this place had the best reviews around for breakfast. So I was there when they opened along with a few others. My omelet took about 20 minutes to cook. Now let me tell you a small fact about eggs. It takes exactly the same time to cook toast as it does an egg. I know eggs trust me. Omelet was good, coffee bad, homefries very bland price was average. I love mom and pop places. Support a family not a millionaire CEO. I got "the library" so I could try a little of everything. Order came out exactly as I ordered in a timely fashion. Its really busy today so be ready to wait a little for a table. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked. By the time I made it to the waffle it was on the cold side but still delicious! Yes it is Good! If they called themselves great I am sure they would not be receiving 5 stars, but this place IS Good! I came in with a party of 8 and the wait was not what I had readied myself for. I ordered the Hash Benedict and my husband ordered "The Wrecking Ball." Use your imagination and think everything and the kitchen sink! Yummy, yum, yum! This is my favorite breakfast spot in Massachusetts. I usually order the library so I get a little bit of everything. The service is excellent and all the employees are friendly. The eggs and pancakes are both light and fluffy and taste amazing. It's like eating Sunday morning breakfast at home. The only downside to this place is that it's small, so at times there could be a long wait but tables do move quickly. They don't ever rush you off your table even with the wait. I'm from New York and almost every time I go to Massachusetts I try and get some breakfast. Also the biscuits and gravy are the best i've ever had!! read more

We we're looking forward to enjoying breakfast here, as the menu looked tasty. But we never even seen by our waitress. Waited in the back for 6-10 minutes. We we're sat, with our 18 month old. And never tended to again. We waited 10 minutes before leaving. No we didn't bother trying to get the servers attention. It's a small place. If you can't tend to the 15 or so tables you have. Anytime I'm in a new area I use Google Maps or TripAdvisor or a review site to decide where I'm going to eat. Yesterday I used GoogleMaps. I was looking for a diner or similar type of restaurant as I like theses places! Well we landed on Laurie's Good Table. Knowing nothing about the place I asked a woman that walked out of the establishment next to it and asked is the Good Table "Good"? She ohhh it sure is. So my helper and I went in and had "Breakfast" for our just before noon lunch! Oh how delicious my Southern Omelette was with the salsa served on top! I would recommend this place to anyone that wants GREAT customer service and enjoy some good food! read more

Love a good cup of coffee and The Good Table did not disappoint. Had the bacon cheeseburger omelet with shredded hash browns which were both excellent. Will not need to eat again until dinner. Wait staff were also excellent, very attentive and approached table to top off coffee at least 3 times. Look forward to visiting again. read more

This place had some pretty solid tables. I would honestly say they were better than just good tables. They had 4 very nice legs, making them sturdy beyond belief. I could rely on those tables being there more than I could my own father that left me when I was little. Seat yourself sort of place with friendly staff and quick service. It's small, really only about 10 tables max from what I could see, plus maybe 4 counter seats. We came in around noon during the middle of the week and it was basically empty when we walked in (filled up nicely as we ate though). I ordered french toast with a side of home fries and was sorely disappointed to discover I was charged nearly $3 extra for a side of maybe 5 or 6 bites of home fries. While it was a decent sized serving in the end, I don't think that side was worth nearly that much money. Meanwhile my boyfriend ordered the crabby benedict (with home fries) and 2 sides of french toast. He got at least triple the home fries I got despite the *side* of french toast not coming with home fries. He was unable to finish about half of his benedict. I also ordered tea which came in a cute little teapot with half and half (and sugar/sweetener on the table). While I appreciate that the tea comes with free refills, the service is so fast and the tea is so hot that I never even got a chance for a free refill! Overall this is easily at the very least a (good) 3 star place. Definitely pop in for a quick bite if you're in town! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have never been so disrespected at a restaurant in my life. Coming from many years in the business I know how you should treat your patrons. Well let me tell you, the owner, Lori, does not know how to conduct herself in a professional manner. I met my mom and aunt with my fiancé and our nine month old baby who was sleeping when we arrived and put him in the highchair in his car seat. Is it the safest place, no but it's easier than waking your kid up from a nap. Mind you we didn't see ourselves, the staff seated us. Almost all the way through our breakfast Laurie came by and made the comment that that's not a safe place for a baby or her staff. Behind my back and not to my face. Well Laurie if you had an issue you should say something to me, or as a proper business owner try and correct the situation if it's that much of an issue for you. After bringing to Laurie's attention that I was upset not only did she half apologize by saying " I'm sorry but", she proceeded to pretty much blame me for the situation. After words were said and we got our check to leave Laurie again came back to say that she was never informed that we had a baby when we came in. Well how does that work if the high chair was already there when we arrived. So not only do you blame your patrons and not try to make their dining experience more enjoyable, you came back to again escalate the situation. We will never be going there again, and thank you for ruining our breakfast which we very rarely go out to eat. The good table has awful service, and their food is mediocre. read more
