Service was excellent, being exceptionally polite, professional, and attentive. 5 stars Extensive menu with every listing being mouth watering. I tried a new special pistachio pudding pancakes with fresh whipped cream. The presentation with all of our dishes was picture perfect and my pancakes with powdered sugar, butter and real maple syrup has me looking forward to my next visit! read more

Watching the boats lazily drift across the Lake Congamond marina. Experiencing stellar customer service And eating a fantastic breakfast. They all led up to a perfect start of our day with breakfast at the Launch. It felt like being on vacation in South Carolina! The Launch's hours are a bit tricky, so you should be aware they are only open from Friday to Monday from 8am to 2:30 pm. The breakfast menu is available all day with the lunch menu starting at 11 (Friday and Monday) or 12 (Weekends). The Launch has a big dining room and two outdoor sections. The rooftop patio where we sat held 7 tables to seat 26. A section of their parking lot is separated from the parked cars to hold six tables for 24 diners. Hannah, our server was great. Super friendly, knowledgeable, helpful with a memory that never failed. We asked for more coffee- bang! We asked for a "to go" box - bang! We asked for ketchup - bang! We asked for coffee cup lids- bang! We went into their menu's breakfast specials for a Pioneer Valley ($8.25) and a Robling ($10.25). The PV was two eggs with home fries, choice of meat and choice of toast. The Robling was two eggs, corned beef hash and a choice of toast. The Robling was mine, because I hadn't had me some corned beef hash in a while. It was very good, soft and tender with a lot of corned beef and a nice crust on the outside. I went for poached eggs and they were perfect. Now let's talk about their toast choices. You can go with White, Honey Wheat, Anadama, Cinnamon Swirl, Sourdough, Rye or English Muffin. Anadama was an unfamiliar choice. I used the old Google Machine to learn it was a "traditional New England yeast bread made with wheat flour, cornmeal, molasses and sometimes rye flour." Well that sure made my selection easy. It was fabulous! Two nice thick chewy slices with a hint of that good old New England molasses. Our two breakfast specials, a coffee and an iced coffee totaled a very reasonable $24.98 with a few leftovers to enjoy later. Great find. Stopped here today with my monthly breakfast group. And we invited Fr Matt from Our Lady of the Lake RC church up the road. We opted to sit outside as it was a beautiful morning, w a nice view of the lake. Our server, Ani, was excellent. She (as well as the owner, Jessica) checked on us regularly and was very efficient and just seemed to do everything effortlessly. I had the Congamonster Breakfast, but had the home-made hash as one of my meats, for an extra $2. Well worth it. Came w 3 eggs, HFs, another meat (opted for sausage patty) and toast. The rye toast was thicker than most and was excellent. Plenty of really interesting menu choices. Prices are reasonable. Coffee is excellent and bottomless. All of us had clean plates, and left satisfied. Be careful, only open 3 or 4 days for breakfast and lunch. And happy to see that they did a brisk business today. Word gets around. Great brunch spot! They have all kinds of drinks including alcoholic ones. I ordered the London fog Chai with almond milk. It was delicious! I also got the veggie frittata which was also yummy. I held my book club there and they were able to accommodate for 12 people. Our server was very attentive and patient with us as well. This restaurant overlooks the water too. Sadly it was raining today so we had to eat indoors but we still had the awesome view since there was a big window. I would definitely come back again! read more

A solid four star breakfast for our anniversary. I got the Irish Benedict, my husband the conga-monster. We sat on the water and the view was beautiful, can't say anything for the interior of the restaurant as we were not seated there. We started with bloody Mary's, obviously which were good, but I've had better. I absolutely hate the paper straw but that's a personal preference. Our server was polite and attentive, but the service itself was incredibly slow, about 30 minutes before we got food. I will say, my breakfast was divine. Potatoes cooked and seasoned well, corned beef hash had a fantastic sear on it and I felt my poached eggs were cooked beautifully. Hollandaise was good, and appeared to not be made entirely from a box. Hubby was very satisfied with his breakfast as well. Prices were reasonable for what we got. Visiting from New Orleans & picked The Launch because it was the highest rated & most affordable. (single mom on a teacher's salary). My daughter got the Belgium Waffle & a side of bacon (crispy). I got the Original Benedict. My daughter (11) said her waffle was "good" & the bacon was the best part even though it wasn't crispy. She thought she ordered the waffle with fruit & whipped topping, but they sent out strawberries & whipped cream when we asked. The strawberries were SO sweet (surprising since strawberries aren't in season & the whipped topping (from a can) was incredible. I didn't take note of the brand. Shucks! My Benedict was not mind blowing, but it was good. The eggs were PERFECTLY poached. The Canadian bacon & English muffin were up to par. The side of "home fries" were ok. Neither the home fries nor the hollandaise sauce were very flavorful, but I may have different expectations being that I was born & raised with that Cajun spice. A bit of salt & pepper made it better. I will say they were generous with the hollandaise sauce, which I LOVE, & it was creamy. The waitstaff was nice enough. She was attentive and kept my coffee & creamer filled. All in all, I WILL be returning, hopefully before we head back to New Orleans. read more

My wife and I go every Saturday, and I go with my dad every Sunday after church. Jess and Marc and everyone there treat us like family. The wait staff is incredible; we are friends more than customers to all and the feeling is mutual. There are a number of regulars, but they do a great job with every part of the business, and we hope to be a part of The Launch family for a long time to come! read more

Good food and a relaxing view of the marina. I called ahead to make a patio reservation for breakfast. We arrived early and they sat us right away. The breakfast menu is extensive and everything we ordered was delicious. The staff was fantastic and super friendly, especially since we had small children in our party. My only complaint is that the coffee is awful tasting and they don't offer real cream, just the non-dairy plain creamer. Aside from the coffee, everything else was tasty and well cooked. We will most definitely be back and I will certainly be recommending this restaurant to others. read more

Zoom Mother's Day Breakfast. Where should I start - how about..."Amazing". Jess your help this week to make my Mother In-Law's Mother Day very special was simply outstanding. She absolutely loved each course: Vegetable and Cheese Quiche, Creps with Strawberries, Mixed Fresh Fruit, Yogurt and Bacon. Of course, she could not eat it all but she did exactly what we hoped and that was to have some left-over for the next day and allowing her to extend this Mother's Day a bit longer. This is a breakfast and lunch place, in a location that has hosted a few prior restaurants of varying success. We first "gave it a try" because they had an outdoor terrace with a nice view of Lake Congamond. They had all the "basic" breakfast items, and hit the marks for good quality: bacon & sausage was the "good stuff". I started noticing the toasts were of consistently outstanding quality: my wife became a fan of the raisin toast and I like the sourdough. Coffee was always hot and fresh and the wait staff never let a cup go empty. Eventually we started ordered a few of the "fancy" specials. Always seasonal, creative, often with fresh local ingredients and delicious! The specials might be a little bit of a stretch on the budget for some families, but we consistently found them to be of a quality far beyond a typical "greasy spoon" breakfast place. Now we look forward to each weekend to see what new special The Launch has come up with. The first time or two I visited for lunch, I thought it was a little slow, had a limited menu and maybe a bit expensive. Then I realized why: Great food, made from scratch. It's not SUBWAY. If I'm in a hurry to get back to work, this isn't the place to go... but if I have a little time to linger, enjoy the view, and get a great lunch, this is the place. Last fall I had a mushroom soup that I still remember as an all time great. COVID-19 closed this place down for a while, and as I write this they are doing takeout and outdoor dining, with some limited hours. They are very careful about protocol. I only have done takeout so since the pandemic started, but The Launch is one of the few places I feel comfortable about all the steps they've taken. read more

My wife had a Watermelon Mimosa and a Sun Salutation Omelette with sourdough bread and I had a build your own omelette with spinach, mushrooms and caramelized onions, and cinnamon swirl bread. Everything was amazing - especially the restaurant-made bread which was OUTSTANDING!! While this was my first time at The Launch, it will certainly not be my last. First time there with a friend of mine. We do several different restaurants within the area. This one was recommended by one of his relatives. I was very impressed with being welcomed. The menu was quite extensive. Quite different from what I'm used to at any breakfast establishment. The waitress was very nice. Kudos to the Chefs. I will return again.
