It's not often you find poutine that's not smothered in beef gravy - and I don't eat beef. Their chicken poutine with green chile sauce was yummy. They carefully packed the chicken nachos with the topping separate, so they wouldn't be soggy when we got to our hotel. The food was filling, flavorful, and fast. They also had some cool merch. It was so nice to have such friendly folks greet me. If passing through again, we'd stop for a beer and a meal.

She shook the thermos and she said that she still had some coffee left. I also told her that on the menu my meal included a tortilla. She never apologized for the lousy service. Very disappointing.

The experience was so good, we went back again on Sunday--our last night in town. That says everything. On Thursday, we had the salmon--exceptional, perfectly prepared, flavorful, and beautifully plated. On Sunday, we tried their steak and shrimp, which was equally outstanding. Both nights, the food was superb. But here's what really impressed me: I tried the beer tasting flight for the first time, and I actually liked every single beer. That's never happened to me before. Whoever curates their selection knows what they're doing. Our server, Gabe, was excellent -- attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. He made both visits feel special. Pecan Grill and Brewery delivers on every level: outstanding food, exceptional beer selection, and hospitality that makes you want to come back. If you're in Las Cruces, this place is a must-visit. Wish the burger patty was a decent size, not slider sized. Wish the swiss cheese was real swiss cheese. Not even gonna say I wish prices were lower, that's a given.
