They make the burgers, fries, & onion rings to order. So it all takes time!! Be patient. The burgers have that great smash crust on them but still flavorful & juicy. It's a very basic burger. Lettuce, onion, mayo, mustard, ketchup (I think?), & cheese but no bacon! Wasn't upset about that, totally understandable, the bacon would slow things down even more. Fries, curly fries, & onion rings. Pop, water, tea, & sports drinks. All in a fridge & nothing in a fountain machine. Chips if you want them. The difference between the regular burger k the great burger is the regular burger is basically a slider. Again, still reasonable. Would definitely come back. Make sure you double check the order though. My colleague asked for no mustard & her had mustard on it but an easy fix. No issues. Also, looks like you should be able to place an order online soon. This is an old school kind of place where they take orders by hand in a notebook. Honestly, loved to see it. Something so lovely & quaint about it. Come by and check it out if you haven't.

Definitely a local favorite. The interior gives off cafeteria vibes, and you order at the counter…read more Food does take awhile. However, that's because they literally make each burger to order. The entire time I was there - well before lunch hours - there was a line. The burger was well worth the wait and is much larger than it looks in the picture; I'm sure this place has a loyal following in the neighborhood.

We're both indoor and outdoor seating, you have to be out of your mind not to sit out door next to the fireplace. This is New Mexico in the winter at its best. So on this trip, I was after the ultimate chili relleno. They are excellent here. I'm a Pan Fried guy. None of that baked in the oven nonsense. Of course you can get them covered in red sauce or green sauce, but the queso sauce here is really great. Sopapillas here are also simply outstanding for dessert. Go for the plain. The wait staff are delightful. Helpful efficient, and don't pester you. Bring your dog.

Indoor space is quite small. Service is fast and friendly. My girlfriend and I ordered beers, the chile con queso, and two combination plates (one green one red). My favorite item was the chile con queso, served with warm tortillas. Grabbed some pico de gallo from the salsa bar to top the queso with and it was fabulous. Combo plates were good and hearty. I'd recommend the red one over the green - the pork tamale was the best item, followed by the enchilada. I didn't care for the flauta, which felt overcooked and dry. Overall enjoyed my experience.
