Decided to try this place yesterday and from the moment i walked in i was greeted by the hostess. Table did not take long for set up. Our waiter Mohamed was very upbeat and accommodating to all our menu requests. The food was excellent very nice sized portions and very tasty. The restaurant is beautiful and great location. The decor and big windows make it a perfect brunch spot. I really want to love the food but it's never good. I've asked a for something to be not added to the dish but the waitress brought it to me and instead said "sorry the chef didn't remember to remove it." Lol. Few occasions where the food allergies were dismissed and not taken seriously. The food is so average and too many "twists" to good dishes. I enjoy coming here to meet a friend but definitely not on my list of places to eat when I'm hungry. read more

I have visited this place 4 times. The food is *excellent*. However I have been there twice for just coffee, and in both cases I have been asked by the host to move to other seating. Today we had been sitting at a table talking for maybe 40 minutes and we were just about to be ready to leave, when we're asked by the host to move to make room for another diner. I have never experienced this at any restaurant or coffee shop anywhere in my life. It's just plain RUDE! Clearly this is the restaurant policy, and I doubt I will return given this really poor interaction with a customer who is there for "just coffee." read more

Stopped in because the wait at another place was insanely long. Was busy here too but was able to get lucky and get a spot at the bar for immediate service. The bar looked to be a full service bar, we were there for brunch so mostly saw bloody mary's and mimosas. Had really nice espresso machine with fresh coffee. I got a breakfast burrito and my girl had blueberry topped pancakes and bacon. Came with what appeared to be fresh made pico. Liked the atmosphere of the place with all the large windows to the main street and interior plants. This is a place I would for sure come back to. read more

Great spot for brunch in Dearborn. Located right downtown, this place is so cute inside! We ordered Avocado Toast, Gruyere + egg croissant, Tomato + Buratta toast, two eggs breakfast special, and a matcha latte. Everything was really good! I've been anticipating visiting this brunch spot for a while now! Let me preface this review : this was one of the best meals I have had not just in the state of Michigan....but ANYWHERE! I immediately was WOWED by the ambience of the restaurant. I felt like I walked into a chic European cafe. Greeted in the most friendly and welcoming manner, I felt as if I was a guest in someone's home. (The waitress informed us that the hostess who was busting her behind to accommodate everyone is the owner; her humility was so greatly appreciated as good service is almost extinct these days.) We were a party of 8 and in my experience, large parties for brunch often experience a delay in food or things come out separately and sometimes cold. Let's face it, eggs can be a very difficult item to crank out and serve timely and hot. The French omelette with mushrooms I ordered came out piping hot, at the same time as everyone else's meal, and I will confidently say this: it was a million times better than the one I ate at The Four Seasons in Paris :) I have to say my favorite dish on the entire menu was the Labneh plate! An assortment of Labneh coated in an array of spices that will take your mouth on a culinary journey you can't even imagine! Served with sliced cucumbers, marinated tomato's, and a toasted baguette....this brought me back to my childhood sitting around my mom's kitchen table enjoying a traditional Lebanese breakfast. Please run DO NOT WALK to try out this GEM! P.S: make sure to stop at the pastry counter on your way out and grab a chocolate hazelnut croissant and cinnamon role. We came for Brunch to celebrate my husband's birthday and were not disappointed. This spot has always been good, but now it's absolutely amazing! It seems new ownership has taken over a few months ago, and the difference really shows--our experience was a 10-star brunch! The ambiance was great and the food phenomenal, especially the ful mudammas, which was out of this world. On top of that, the service was exceptional, with the owner personally checking on us multiple times to ensure everything was perfect. You can feel the care in every detail. You can sit at a traditional table, at the espresso bar or they do have a few chairs & couches where you can lounge if you'd like. You can simply grab a coffee, with or without an amazing Canelle pastry (they have a huge case of amazing looking pastries), or you can sit down for a full meal. The food was delicious! Brown butter pancakes - fluffy pancakes served with blueberry compote, a few sliced strawberries,burnt cinnamon whipped cream (excellent addition!) & powdered sugar. You don't even need the syrup! Breakfast burrito - savory mix of scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, Muenster , cheddar, creme fraiche, house salsa & avocado. It's huge & flavorful Avocado toast - scrambled egg on top of cream chèvre, avocado & crunchy watercress which was drizzled with everything spice & chili crisp - it was lightly spicy & very tasty! Next time I'm getting the French toast! Only saw 2 opportunities: the service could use an upgrade to match the quality of the food (received our plain drip coffee after our food arrived, appetizer came late) & there is a need for additional bathrooms. Good service and good food, I feel there were a couple small details that could have made it great.. wasn't a fan of the fries they were just like the frozen ones you'd put in your oven at home. the kale salad still had the thick hard stems making it a little difficult to eat/bitter. They provided just enough attention but also made sure everything was perfect. The host cared about me as a customer and not some object to fill a spot on the iPad. I really like the vibe, food and beverages here, but service is a little lacking, though everyone is friendly. We made reservations for a table of 4, and it's one of those places that won't seat you until the whole party arrives. Ok - policy is policy, but if 2 of us are there and we're prepared to order food and beverages, why not seat us? In any case, we went outside to wait for our friend to arrive, and disappointingly, there is no service outside - you have to go in and place orders, like carry-out. Ok, did that, but if you have patio space, it would be a nice option to seat people out there for service. It's a little confusing. So, our friend finally arrived, we went in to get our table, and the host tried seating us outside of the dining room completely and literally right in front of the restrooms. Like, it's a whole separate area where the restrooms are, and a table is clearly not intended to be there. That's the only table that had been placed there. Maybe it is our fault for being late, but at that point, you might as well tell us to just stay seated outside and continue ordering carry-out style. Well, that's what we did, which would have worked out ok, except they forgot to text one of my friends that her order was ready, and by the time our other food came, she went in to find it sitting there - cold fries, no bueno. I came here while traveling through the state, and I am so glad I did. There was a decent wait to get in, which to me was a reflection of the esteem and respect of this establishment. Even during a busy rush, the service was very good. I would recommend this place to everyone in the area, and to anyone who is passing through. We had a wide assortment of foods, and the cortado was superb. You could easily tell that the ingredients for the food and the drinks were as fresh as could be. I was too early for my doctors appointment and I stumbled upon this little gem. I stopped in and grabbed a table to have a nibble while I waited for some time to pass. Upon entering the hostess asked for a phone number and my name popped up so she addressed me by my name which was nice. They weren't busy at all so I was seated right away. After being seated, my waitress (I did not get her name ) checked in to see what I would like to drink. They offer a plethora of coffee, tea and non-coffee offerings. The waitstaff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food options that were available on the menu. I ordered the common potatoes and a side of beef bacon only because I wasn't very hungry (big mistake). I dismissed myself to the restroom to freshen up. The restroom was very clean and welcoming. By the time I returned to my table, my meal had arrived. The potatoes were fresh, hot and well seasoned. My bacon was a little cold but it was still good. As I was eating, I took a gander at the other meals that were being served near me. This is where the (big mistake) comes into play. The steak and eggs that were being served two tables down looked divine. The steak was perfect cooked and the eggs were nice and fluffy! The table next to me ordered the salon toast and a breakfast platter, both options made me salivate. Now the table across from me ordered some of the biggest, and fluffiest blueberry pancakes I have ever seen since my grandmother passed. I liked how my server asked if I was ready for the bill instead of just assuming that I was. As I was leaving, I perused the establishment and then all of a sudden something caught my eye A tart and croissant bar which was located directly next to their awesome looking espresso bar. Again, before I left the hostess engaged me into a conversation about returning and asked how my meal was. We went there in Oct. and the food and service was great, we went back again today the food was not hot and waited over 15 minutes for a coffee refill and the place was not busy. We asked another waitress for a coffee refill and she brung it to us right away. The manager came over to our table an asked if everything was okay, I explained to her about the long wait on the coffee, she stated that the waitress's may have switched, I said no because we flagged the other waitress down. The manager said that her and her husband took ownership of the restaurant in Nov, and that she would comp. the coffee from our bill, so when we received the check the coffee was still on there.
