I had an amazing experience at the green dragon inn. The game list was endless and easy to navigate. The drinks were unique and well priced. The food was good and had a decent number of options. A special shoutout to my bartender/gamemaster Zach for making sure that we always had what we needed and could find even the most obscure game/drink request nearly instantaneously. I wish there was some way you could see how great this place is from the outside of the building because wow you really are transported when you go inside and I would have been here sooner had I known how great it was.

Amazing food and delicious drinks. They have seasonal drink menus and not all are alcoholic. Grab a bite then play a game at your table. The service is fantastic and it ends up being a very fun night. It's a must go for not your average bar food at all and cozy atmosphere. I'm so glad I ventured out and went here. Definitely coming back to show my friends and family how awesome this place is.

I had a fantastic time at this TTRPG/Board Game Bar on Saturday afternoon in Akron. It's a jaunt up a long staircase that seems fairly non-descript but after that the impeccable theming, lively patrons, and ambience will carry you away, like it's something out of a theme park moreso than a standard bar. Shawn the bartender's kickass cocktails were amazing. I like all three that I tried. The apricot grove was sweet and heavy, almost like an alcoholic smoothie. The Rhubarbarian was like a more flavorful and refreshing hard seltzer. Shawn was fine enough to share with me a work in progress cocktail off the upcoming summer menu that I hope makes the cut! I had the Buffalo chicken sandwich with chips which really hit the spot after getting neatly loaded on bevvies. The clientele and management were all fantastic, and very welcoming. People were playing D&D and board games all around, most in their 20s and 30s. There were even some folks in cosplay too! I will definitely be stopping back!

So, after asking…read morethem what they were in the mood for, there was only ONE CHOICE on my favorites list that hit all the "hungrys". Off to ALEXANDER PIERCE. When we arrived at the well lit parking lot, we entered and were greeted supurbly by manager and host and seated. We had BRITANY as our server / bartender. From start to stop she was spot on. Never rushed us, explained all their evening features from appetizers, dinners and desserts. The menu covers all that you can possibly desire. Angus steaks, fresh and overly portioned seafood, to delicious pastas. We all ordered a wide variety of meals. The SURF, SURF AND SURF was amazing . So were the SHORT RIBS. I had the twin bone PORK CHOP. Huge, flavorful and never disappoints. Almost forgot, the smokey bourbon old fashions, created right at the table. We got the tour after dinner by Jess, the manager. She shiowed us all the attributes to this Akron gem. The Barrell dining room, the Vault, Screen Suites, the Coat Room lounge and adjoining Parlor room. Then even the new Culinary room where they have classes on how to cook various dishes at scheduled times taught by a Chef. If you are any where near Akron, this is a must try. If you live in Akron, this should become your weekly treat. Akron has many choices in fine restaurants, but there is only one ALEXANDER PIERCE !

Perfect cocktails, perfect pizza. We stopped out on a Thursday night looking for a bite to eat and…read morea drink or two. Was fun figuring out how to get inside. It's a small place and we thought we'd have to wait but luckily a couple were leaving so we got seats at the bar. It would have been worth the wait. We picked a couple drinks off the menu and they were incredibly beautiful and tasted divine. The pizza we ordered had anchovies and pepperoni and I swear it's the best wood fired pizza I've ever had. I wanted another drink and asked the bartender to make me a rum drink of their choice. Within minutes some amazing concoction, it was smoking inside a glass dome of some sort. The garnish was a flamed cinnamon stick and orange rind that looked like a sword. It was incredible. The vibe is nice and patrons are friendly. It's not loud, so you can carry on a conversation, and the music was nice. There is a cute little back room with tables too for groups of 2-4 people. Parking is plentiful on the street and nearby parking lots. Within walking distance of other bars and restaurants. Up and coming area. I can't recommend the Oak & Olive enough and I can't wait to go back.

There's a secret entrance since it's a speakeasy, which is fun. Someone is always there to help guide you if you can't figure it out, haha. The lighting is low, and there are a lot of comfy spots to sit, which makes the environment feel very calm and cozy. We ended up all ordering a variety of espresso martinis. Mine was a crème brûlée one, which was divine, but they all sounded delicious! We also ordered the fig & pear pizza to share. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the flavors worked really well together! I'm hoping I can come here with my husband soon.
