THE GOOD ---------------- + Food was super fresh and delicious! ++++ Roti - Was OK. A bit on the small side, but it was only $5, so you figure that would be the case that it was a small serving. The curry was a bit watery though. ++++ Tropical Mango with White Rice - Solid. Lots of mango slices and 6 pieces of large shrimp. Also, lots of tropical, sweet sauce, which made it delicious. ++++ Pad See Ew with Beef - Fantastic! Came out piping hot and fresh with plenty of beef and veggies. Portion was pretty big too. Personally, one of the best Pad See Ew entrees I've had in NJ still. ++++ Chinese Broccoli with Chicken and White Rice - Excellllllent. The chicken and Chinese broccoli had LOTS of sauce and there were carrots and mushrooms mixed in. The chicken was surprisingly pretty tender for chicken breast. + Employees were very friendly and prompt, always filling our hot teas. + Food came out blazzzingly fast, within minutes of us ordering. + Not a huge restaurant, but still plenty of tables and seats. + Private parking lot to the side. THE NOT SO GOOD ---------------------------- - Nada. MIXED THOUGHTS --------------------------- = Nada. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- = Came on a Saturday evening from 5:45-7 and it was quiet at first, but a steady stream of customers came in - mostly families - however, there were still open tables. CONCLUSION -------------------- - Unsurprisingly, the food during our dine-in experience was even better than when we did takeout! Definitely a solid Thai food option in the area!

    - Cute little restaurant, though the spacing is tight; it was noticeably chilly inside on a frigid winter evening, especially near the restrooms - Bustling during Saturday dinner, with plenty of parties dining in and a steady stream of customers coming in for takeout - Super friendly, warm, efficient, and attentive service throughout the meal - Food came out lightning fast, piping hot, and full of flavor: Tropical Mango with Shrimp featured six large shrimp and more perfectly ripe mango strips than one could possibly finish--sauce was sweet and tangy with a subtle spicy kick; Chinese Broccoli with Chicken was served with an excellent light brown sauce and plenty of vegetables and chicken, though thinner slices of chicken would have been preferred over the thick chunks served; Beef Pad See Ew was generously portioned, super fresh, and very well seasoned, with a perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors, chewy noodles, and just the right amount of heat and char; the only disappointment was the Roti Canai, which came with a curry sauce that was very thin and bland

Takeout is not good. We ordered: -Crispy tofu - a little dry. I also didn't care for the sauce it came with. It was too sweet -Pad Thai - looked different from when we dined in. It was lighter in color for takeout. Also, the noodles were in pieces -Pad Kee Mao - this was pretty good. It wasn't overly spicy and the noodles held up -Pad See Ew - this was probably the worst pad see ew I've ever tasted. It was WAY too salty and sweet to the point where my mouth felt numb after eating it. I would highly recommend dining in, which stinks because I love getting takeout. But this just isn't one of the places to do it at.

Really enjoyed the variety of Thai and Malaysian Dishes here. I was initially looking for a Thai restaurant but I'm so glad I stumbled upon this restaurant. I ended up trying their Malaysian curry dish, the portion was hearty and came with a side salad dressed in a peanut sauce. The curry was very flavorful but I thought the chicken itself didn't take up as much of the flavor. With a little added salt, the dish came to life and I really liked it. I would definitely order from here again and try some of their other dishes. It's not as common to find Malaysian food in this area and I think they do a pretty good job!

Well, well, well, a Thai place that doesn't break the bank. My kids had a fantastic time here and the staff were incredibly friendly. The Massaman curry was a great choice. We will be back soon.

Still love this place immensely - the food is always delicious & the portion size for what they charge is VERY fair. I try to come here anytime I make it to NJ. I was able to make it back last month, it's been a while (a little over a year) & Felicia remembered us! This is a small business I will gladly support.

I really liked this little cafe, perfect spot for a quick lunch. The staff is very attentive to the customers, portions were big but not overwhelming, i ate everything! I felt like my dish was lacking a little bit of salt, but i still enjoyed it! Highly recommend

I was a delicious bowl filled with flavorful bulgogi ribeye beef mixed with lettuce. The beef phuh (pho) was excellent too. The server at the store was friendly. She explained a lot of the menu items to us and patiently punched in all of our items. The dishes came out in short time too. Overall I really liked the food but wish the dining space was better conditioned (wobbly table, old tile on floor, speaker right next to table blasting music)

Spring rolls are crispy. But it's smaller portion. Solid spot for comfort food and quick meal.

Father's Day Brunch!…read more Four of us attended for the Father's Day brunch. After being seated I asked the waiter about the free Old Fashioned or Sangria dads were suppose to receive as per their IG post. The waiter tells me that was only for Saturday June 20th but he'll check with management. He comes back and states it was only for the 20th. I pull up the post which states 20th and 21st. He goes back to his manager and they honor it. Their IG post also mentions a surf & turf special for $59 (which is one of the main reasons I chose this restaurant). When I inquired with the waiter he stated it's only available for dinner (this is not mentioned anywhere on the post). Between the 4 of us we had several lobster tails with waffles, 1 person ordered hot honey chicken with waffles, 4 additional lobster tails and several sides of eggs with bacon. 3 waffle orders came out together and everything else came out staggered 20 - 30mins later. We repeatedly had to ask for the rest of the order. A friend had a Cadillac Margarita which was good. I attempted to order one and was told they ran out of Cointreau and Grand Marnier. How do you run out of the main ingredient for a standard margarita at 2pm on a Sunday?! Passion fruit wings along with a few other menu items were not available. All in all I wouldn't return to Czen. Although my waiter was very pleasant doing the best he could and the ambiance was nice, the restaurant was poorly prepared and brunch was poorly executed.

There was also a small bowl of udon noodles, some sashimi, a crispy tempura shrimp in a yummy creamy sauce, flavorful edamame, mashed potato with corn, and some pickled veggies - quite the diverse array, all of which was tasty. The restaurant itself has a rather simple yet elegant Japanese wooden design. The prices suggest it's a more high end place, but the vibe is actually rather casual. The staff are very attentive and the service speed is pretty quick. Overall, I would definitely give Moru 4.5 stars if I could. I think it's great for most types of occasions, and the only reasons it's not getting 5 stars is because I do think the prices are a tad higher than I would've hoped and I think they could've done a bit more in terms of designing the place to match the price point. That being said, I still highly recommend Moru, especially for a nice lunch.
