(Half eaten) Green Curry $18.07 [comes with rice or brown rice]
    Jane K.

Newly opened just a year ago, Khao Thai Cuisine is a promising Thai restaurant in the area. Staff are friendly, interior is clean and modern, and food is decent with fresh ingredients. I ordered Green Curry ($18.07), spicy level 1/5. It was more like a 3/5 with a shooting spice at the end of the bite... But it was good and mild enough to keep eating without water. Forgot to take a picture of my take-out, so took a picture of my half eaten Green Curry! Curious about their other classics like Pad Thai and Pad-Se-Ew! Will try and update when I can.

I got this delicious desert today and loved it

The best Thai food ever! I highly recommend this restaurant. Love coming back to try different dishes. Family owned business!

Always on the hunt for good Thai food. First time here and the food was okay. The pad Thai was a little too sweet for me but overall was tasty. We also got a house chicken soup and the portion was good and flavorful. Service could have been a little more friendly but overall we had a nice experience. Location is right off the main road so street parking can be challenging.

Got takeout from here and I think the food was solid, but not great. I ordered a pad see ew and Thai basil fried rice. Portion size is on the smaller side, but the flavors were good. I also got a small wonton soup but that wasn't very good. Price wise is pretty much in line with other Thai places. My total came out to $40 for the two entrees and a soup.

Disappointed is how I feel. I've gone here before when the new owners 1st opened up and had the usual really delicious Thai food that I've had for over a year before that. I went in here asking for one thing which they didn't have and ended up ordering soup. Let's just say it isn't what I expected.... not sure anyone would Expect one chicken leg over a mountain of noodles with some greenery And another serving in a small container of very salty broth. Not happy and spent $16 to boot. Only ate half because it was my lunch and I had nothing else. Never again. This place pales in comparison. Sad.. cause I love Thai....

Pad see ew... Noodles were clumped together.

I just ordered a pad see ew with beef as take out. But my pad see ew came without the beef. Many of the noodles were clumped together and never separated. This is very disappointing and I will not be returning.

I genuinely liked this place when I ate in the restaurant. The people were nice and the green curry and crab rangoons (don't ask me why we got them here... ok you can ask why. My husband loves crab rangoons.) were great. We ordered delivery tonight and it was as if they made the food in a rush. The basil fried rice was barely fried; it was practically white rice. I got pad Thai that tasted and looked like ketchup (picture shows regular color but I swear it was red in person). The calamari portion was a joke (don't ask me why we got this here too...). I'd give tonight's order two stars, but I'll add one more because that's our fault for getting calamari at a Thai restaurant.

Got the lunch special (soup and drunken noodles) and it was pretty good. Not the best I had but if I was in the area I would go again. Special shout out to the waitress/host who I was sadly unable to get her name but she was amazing so attentive and sweet!!

We had an amazing dining experience at Czen Restaurant and will definitely be back!…read more We started with the Oxtail Sushi appetizer, which was absolutely delicious and a perfect way to begin the meal. For the main courses, I ordered the oxtail with rice, which was a very generous portion and full of flavor. My partner had the salmon with Mandarin glaze and mashed potatoes, and it was outstanding--perfectly cooked and incredibly tasty. For dessert, we enjoyed the fried ice cream with purple sweet potato, which was unique and delicious. Two glasses of shandy wine complemented the meal beautifully. The atmosphere was fantastic, with great music and a lively, festive vibe. The hostess was wonderful--she took the time to chat with us, asked if it was our first visit, and checked whether we were familiar with the cuisine, which made us feel very welcome. Our server was exceptionally kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. He carefully explained the menu and even double-checked details for us to make sure everything was exactly right. Highly recommended for both the food and the outstanding service. We thoroughly enjoyed every part of our experience and look forward to returning soon!

Father's Day Brunch!…read more Four of us attended for the Father's Day brunch. After being seated I asked the waiter about the free Old Fashioned or Sangria dads were suppose to receive as per their IG post. The waiter tells me that was only for Saturday June 20th but he'll check with management. He comes back and states it was only for the 20th. I pull up the post which states 20th and 21st. He goes back to his manager and they honor it. Their IG post also mentions a surf & turf special for $59 (which is one of the main reasons I chose this restaurant). When I inquired with the waiter he stated it's only available for dinner (this is not mentioned anywhere on the post). Between the 4 of us we had several lobster tails with waffles, 1 person ordered hot honey chicken with waffles, 4 additional lobster tails and several sides of eggs with bacon. 3 waffle orders came out together and everything else came out staggered 20 - 30mins later. We repeatedly had to ask for the rest of the order. A friend had a Cadillac Margarita which was good. I attempted to order one and was told they ran out of Cointreau and Grand Marnier. How do you run out of the main ingredient for a standard margarita at 2pm on a Sunday?! Passion fruit wings along with a few other menu items were not available. All in all I wouldn't return to Czen. Although my waiter was very pleasant doing the best he could and the ambiance was nice, the restaurant was poorly prepared and brunch was poorly executed.

Right off the bat, I was impressed with the interior. The pop art! The giant takeout box in the corner! The homage to Bruce Lee in the bathroom! Whoever was in charge of the restaurant's interior design took their jobs seriously. Service here is also fantastic. My husband and I were greeted boisterously as soon as stepped through the door, and when the guy at the counter heard this was our first visit, he was eager to explain the ordering process and the choices available. Fat Choy offers buildable and customizable bowls that are meant to be inspired by Chinese takeout options but healthier. What I appreciate is that they don't use seed oils (a big no-no in the health food world). It all sounds great. But in my book, food has to taste good. And this is unfortunately where Fat Choy fell flat for me. It might be 'healthier' Chinese food; it's also quite saucy and salty. Every single ingredient I selected for my bowl was heavily seasoned, and not always in a harmonious way. Even the more recognizable takeout elements of our meal - like sesame chicken - tasted a little off the mark. Some things were a little too gingery, others seemed a little heavy on the soy. In short, if you want to satisfy a craving for certain familiar Chinese takeout entrees, you might not want to bring those cravings here. But let me interrupt my mini-grousing session to mention one absolutely praise-worthy item here. The crispy mushrooms? Delectable. When we were ordering, my husband pointed to the pan of mushrooms at the counter. We were confused when they went into the back kitchen to get his serving. As it turns out, the ones in the front are a front; when someone orders it, they'll fry up a fresh batch in the kitchen so that customers never get the mushy ones. I respect that level of dedication towards optimizing taste.
