Beware of hidden charges not disclose when ordering take out. We ordered food and was asked if we wanted to include a tip. I agreed to the tip. When I got the receipt there was also a service charge in addition to the tip! The service charge was not disclosed to me and was almost 6.00. We ordered 3 breakfast entrees. I called to make sure this was correct and was told it was for the cost of takeout supplies. I mentioned that they should make the customer aware of this and the person on the phone just said thank you and I heard her mumble I just don't care before she hung up. This is our favorite breakfast, lunch spot! They make everything and their muffins are to die for! Splurge and get the Chocolate Chip! I think they have over did it. The dine in service has suffered now that they are doing take out and curbside. Folks wait in long lines , trying to keep out of the traffic that's coming into the parking lot, for curbside, then we then sit and have another wait because most of the waitresses are doing double duty, focused on take out. The Food has lost its taste over the years , and prices keep steadily rising over $ 24 dollars for two basic breakfast meals that's with no drinks. This place is absolutely adorable. One of my best friends recommended visiting this place while I was in the area so I couldn't pass up the opportunity this past weekend. It was their last day before having a two week hiatus so the menu was somewhat limited. I had originally ordered the crab cake Benedict but they didn't have the crab cakes so they offered putting the crab meat on top of the meal which was just as tasty! They were also doing a 2:1 bakery special as an "everything must go" before the break. I couldn't believe the size of the whoopie pies. My mouth dropped open as soon as I saw them! An absolute great find for the area. The decor was so adorable. The staff and service were friendly too! We love this place and have been going there since it opened. The food is great and the waitstaff couldn't be nicer. I love the Gobbler Sandwich which is real Turkey breast, stuffing, cranberry sauce and mayo on a cranberry nut bread and comes with a small bag of chips. I'm a grown man and I can eat only about half comfortably. I take the rest home because who doesn't like leftover Thanksgiving sandwiches?!! I do!! read more

I have never been so insulted by a restaurant in my life. I get it if a restaurant does not want to be kid friendly, that is their choice but they should let people know before they walk in the door. Our kiddos were excited about all of the muffins and the smell of food so they walked in giddy but they were not that bad. The owner came over and told us that my kids have been aweful since the moment they walked in and we had to leave. My daughter (6) was so confused and scared. She didn't understand what she did wrong and why this woman was so mad at her. It was terrible. And if that was it I would have just moved on but then she told me how if she had children they would not be like this. Telling me what a terrible parent I am. Wow! Amazing how you can be going about your day and person can just trash you in one brief moment. We went to the Wild Blueberry down the street where our amazing waiter brought toys for the kids and referred to them as prince and princess. I don't expect that kind of treatment and I don't think my kids are perfect angels. But this lady went too far, made a personal attack on me and my family when she could have just asked us to be more quite or simply just to leave. read more

Five stars everytime. I could recommend this place enough. Great fresh food every trip, a menu that never leaves us unhappy. Just a great quality breakfast. Yesterday we had a very nice waitress who promptly took care of us even in the heat. I got an omelet that was just fabulous and Logan got the bagel and lox, which is a go to for him. Every time I go, the owner is there and is very personable and seems to know her guests- a lot of regulars which is always great sign. They have a great menu and are reasonably priced. Great selection of delicious baked goods and different breakfast entrees you wouldn't find just anywhere. In the summer, can also sit outside which is nice. We waited an hour and a half for our food and nothing was comped. The waitress didn't bother to offer a muffin or SOMETHING to hold us over nor offer an explanation as to why it was taking so long. Half the restaurant was empty and more people leaving yet the food STILL took more time. A small glass of OJ is $4.99 which is sad because I saw one of the employees bringing in two cheap gallons of it from probably Sunoco down the street. A single slice of French toast (what they called a "half" portion) is $4.99. Although the bacon, Brie, and tomato omelet was delicious we will not be returning. So expensive and not worth it. We could go to Perkin's Cove and have a gorgeous view, rather than the highway traffic, for cheaper. read more

The mushrooms, onions & green peppers were also fresh and thick cut. And the roasted red peppers seemed fresh, not jarred. It was topped with flavorful cheddar. The marble rye was very good too as were the (shredded) hash browns - which had some nice crispy edges mixed in. My husband had the sausage & cheese scramble and loved it as well. Good coffee, too. And they were cooking marinated chicken for lunch that smelled so good I wanted to stick around for lunch! They are doing a very good job with COVID protocols.
