I completely understand the challenges of business ownership and the need to simplify/ streamline the menu. That said, I really hope you'll reconsider the breakfast sandwiches, because the old menu was SO good. There was such a fun variety of big, overflowing, creative breakfast sandwiches, and that was a huge part of what made this place special. Now there are only four VERY simple options, and unfortunately, the fluffy egg is a noticeable downgrade. Please, at the very least, bring back a real cracked/fried egg! It would make such a difference. I'm genuinely rooting for this place and I really hope you'll take some of the feedback from longtime customers into consideration. What a beautiful cute hidden gem in York! This is such a lovely spot to sit while it's sunny out, i love the garden and flowers around and it's quite peaceful. Great selection of pastries and coffees. I went for the cinnamon roll and WOW! It's the perfect cinnamon roll with the fluffy bun and perfect cream cheese frosting. I also opted for a cold brew and loved that they had sugar free vanilla syrup to go in it. The girls at the window were wonderful and so polite. Definitely a place i'll come back too. read more

Nice little cafe with friendly staff. Had the maple roost sandwich, cinnamon roll, drip coffee, and cold brew. The maple roost sandwich was good and seemed like something that inspired McDonald's McGriddles (or maybe the other way around). Cinnamon roll was also good, but a tiny bit dry. Nice place to stop by before doing some shopping at the Kittery outlets! read more

This was the perfect stop for my wife and I to grab a coffee while down south on Route 1. We have previously visited the Bell Farm Shops this food/coffee trailer is at but first time giving the trailer a try. Was perfectly located to make it so we didn't even need to detour from our final destination. Lots of parking is available and ordering is a breeze. We were greeted by the friendly staff when ready to place our order. My wife went with their Maine Maple Latte and I chose their current special that sounded perfect for summer, Campfire S'mores. It even came garnished with a graham cracker, Hershey's chocolate, and Marshmallow. Gave it a fantastic stand out look. The taste was just as good and my wife loved her drink too! We already had food so passed on it this visit but maybe next time. They do have a couple tables to enjoy your food if you choose to do so, but us and others we saw took it to go. Definitely a spot worth visiting while on route 1! Grab a drink and bite to eat here at Nectar and when you finish shop around the Bell Farm Shops. Used to go there and the food was great... worth the money.. just went there this morning and for two "breakfast sandwiches" that were just microwaved, a donut and a small coffee it was $35. Finally got a chance to stop in and try this place! I was not disappointed! I got breakfast - Life's A Beach which is an egg, bacon, cheddar, avocado english muffin with hot honey. Absolutely delicious- all made from scratch so it was fresh and hot and amazing. Also got hot mocha coffee and an iced chai for later. Also delicious. We came by here for breakfast and I really don't understand how it has the review it does. I got probably the worst bagel of my life here, and we waited just as long as you would wait at a sit down restaurant. There is a reason Nectar cafe is rated #1. Vacationed to York this past weekend, & my husband and I went to nectar cafe both mornings during our stay. This cute little place is worth the hype! Both of our breakfasts were amazing, with so many options to pick from. Freshly cooked eggs, which usually isn't the case for small sandwich shops, and all fresh ingredients to order. I got the sausage, egg and cheese on the Asiago bagel with their homemade chipotle mayo & it was stellar. Tons of coffee to chose from which both days we really enjoyed our coffee. They also offer love bird donuts from the donut shop down street which is super convenient since not being from there love birds was on our list of places to try. This place is doing it right!! BEST BREAKFAST SANDWICH IN THE AREA! The flavor and variety that comes out of this mini food vessel is definitely worth stopping by. There is no slimy grease to be found, which is a huge plus to a breakfast sandwich. With every sandwich there are a lot of break options, highly recommend the croissants. When ordering online there are a large array of add on options, and I am all about the options. The most important part of this business is the owner. I over ordered online which was completely my fault and not only did she give the extra breakfast sandwich, she refunded the extra sandwich no matter how much I protested that it was my fault. This was my experience at the Nectar Cafe. My daughter and I went one day mid morning. My daughter ordered a breakfast sandwich and I ordered a latte. There was one customer ahead of us who had already ordered. It took a quite a long time before my daughter, first, got the sandwich she ordered. We continued to wait for the latte. After a couple of minutes, I went up to the window to check on the latte. First, the customer service person, an older woman, seemed annoyed by my question. She then turned to go into the left side of the trailer and I overheard her mock my asking. She then finally came back to the window with my latte in hand, and gave it to me without a word or a smile. I wish that i could have taken my tip back but I had already paid. I live in kittery and decided to try Nectar Cafe for the first time. Very good food that comes out of that truck. I must say they know how to make breakfast sandwiches. They made me their popular sandwich with honey, avocado, on a bagel. The service was fast and the food was good. The food here is very good, but if it's busy, drive right on by. They cannot handle more than a few customers at a time. I waited more than half an hour for a simple breakfast sandwich. If it were a sit down restaurant, that's fine. But standing outside waiting for your number to be called, is highly frustrating. So, if there's nobody there, definitely stop. read more
