We also tried the pear martini and the chocolate martini--both were absolutely delicious. The pulled pork nachos were good, especially with the beer cheese! We also tried the crab cake special served over creamy risotto, and it was excellent. Service was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome. Great food, great drinks, and great service--we'll definitely be back! Appreciate that they did NOT charge a credit card fee! Thank you !

They even have an event room upstairs that you can rent. The service was pretty good. They were very nice and offered opinions on what's good. The fried pickle chips were good. Very hot. But good and crispy. The pretzels steal the show. They're hot and crispy on the outside, but super soft on the inside. They have a light honey on the outside and comes with cheese and mustard. They're a must try. The chicken wings themselves were really good. Fried nice and still juicy. Crispy and flavorful. The sauce was just a little different from what we are used to. The fish tacos were great. Nice and light. Had a good slaw on it with some jalapeño. Then they had their own homemade hot sauce which was amazing. Had some really good spice that lasted and they make it from the peppers they grow on the patio. I would go back just for that sauce. We will definitely be back again.

We arrived at 11:30 AM, and the door was locked, but thankfully an employee noticed us and unlocked the door. Another customer told us that the building used to be a coalmine store. I noticed that the interior looked rustic, with exposed brick and crooked floors. The women's bathroom was clean. The employee provided very courteous service. The menu listed appetizers (e.g., fried provolone and calamari), salads, sandwiches, mains (e.g., pastas, veal parmesan, and chicken picatta), and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Here are my ratings for what we ordered: Small chicken parmesan - 4 stars - The small size was actually pretty big a definitely enough for one person to eat. The chicken, sauce, and cheese tasted very good, but I prefer crispier breading. Meatball sandwich - 3 stars - My husband ate this sandwich. He said that the meatballs tasted "interesting" and that the bread could have more flavor. I thought that it tasted alright. Caesar salad - 4 stars - This side salad consisted of lettuce, cheeses, just-made croutons, and a side dressing. Spaghetti - 3.5 stars - This side of spaghetti had nicely cooked noodles and a flavorful sauce. The prices were very reasonable for the large serving sizes. We paid only $30 plus a tip.

We had a salad, Roland's Pasta, garlic bread, and Chicken Milanese. The flavors were amazing and the price is incredibly fair. At the end of the meal we got to try a slice of the family recipe cheesecake- WOW! We had the original flavor but they also had a salted caramel pretzel and a pumpkin swirl flavor. I can't imagine any of them aren't spectacular. Additionally, the service was kind and speedy. I am saving Roland's in my favorites for the next roadtrip!

A Hidden Gem in Washington, PA!…read more The Washington Brewing Company is the real deal! You can absolutely taste the love in every beer--they clearly take pride in their craft. Each brew we tried was smooth, flavorful, and uniquely their own. We shared a few appetizers and every bite was fantastic, but the fried zucchini sticks were the standout--crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Definitely a must-try! Their happy hour is a great deal, and the atmosphere is just what you'd want in a local brewery: relaxed, welcoming, and fun. The location is spot-on--easy to get to, with plenty of space inside and out. To top it all off, the staff have been incredible--knowledgeable about the beers, super friendly, and genuinely fun to talk to. It's the kind of place where you feel like a regular, even if it's your first time. We'll definitely be back. Cheers to great beer and even better people!

I have been to Washington more times than I can county yet I hadn't been here yet for some odd reason but we decided to change that on the way to the airport. Before arriving me and my gf were rather hungry so we were looking on Yelp for a place to eat before deciding to stop in here for a quick bite and a cold beer on a smoking hot day. Upon arrival it seemed like a cool place and had plenty of parking behind the business. Although once we entered the business the atmosphere seemed kind of off and unappealing. Everyone looked pissed off or unfriendly. The servers weren't much better if I am being honest, which I always am when leaving reviews. We sat at the bar for a few minutes before I had to ask a girl who was too busy chatting away with another girl for a menu and water. We needed someone to cool us off immediately due to it being extremely hot outside. TBH: nothing is more of a put off than entering a business you are about to spend money in and seeing the wait staff on their phones ignoring the people who are there to help them make money cause God forbid you don't tip someone 20% who are on Instagram 85% of the time you are there and instead of asking if you need anything else while you are constantly saying, can I have another this or that. SMH! The wait staff here seemed all over the place and it wasn't even busy when we stopped in. I guarantee every single person who was working was behind the bar at some point and we either had to ask for more water, more sour cream, more whatever; that's annoying! We started off by ordering a flight of beer and that seemed like a whole job in itself to the waitress. Then we decided to go with the nachos. Which I must say took way too long to arrive considering there was only 8-10 people max while we were there and easily 5-6 waiters and 2-3 bartenders. The beer was good and the nachos were pretty decent as well. Neither was anything to write home about but they did their job. Another thing I did notice about this place is it seemed grimmy and more of a bar than an actual brewery. Most of the time when a brewery needs to serve liquor it just doesn't have great beer or great brewery vibes that us brewery lovers go for and we rarely return, sadly. There was nothing welcoming about this place and with the food being just decent and the wait staff not being of the greatest in the personality and service categories I'd say there is a 99% chance we won't return or recommend this place to any of our friends or colleagues. Thanks and good luck :)

A delicious restaurant, a fantastic market, a dairy that makes phenomenal milk and a place for amazing events like the fall festival and events with Santa. They even have special events where groups (and often the general public) can sign up for a tour where you get to learn about their dairy operations and even milk a cow! When you visit in the fall, they have a lot of great themed decorations (as well as activities that you can pay to be a part of). But you can enjoy the festive vibes and decor without doing the whole experience if you are short on time or cash. Their food is delicious! The best way to describe it is homemade comfort food! The friendly staff is knowledgeable and will answer any questions you might have about what certain things are or about ingredients. You can also eat fairly affordably, especially for the portion sizes and homemade, quality ingredients. What a Concept:…read more There are three things in the World I love, and they are Bacon, Bourbon and Beer. I was in the Washington, PA area and was researching places to eat and found this place that uses bacon in many of their dishes. I drove over to BBB3, and there was plenty of parking available in the parking lot just outside. I walked in, and for a few minutes I was the only one there. My server came over, and we walked through the Bacon, Bourbon, and Beer menus. After some discussion, I settled on trying the Bacon Flight, which was four flavours of bacon, each on two thick slices of bacon. The flight has Cajun & Bleu, which is Cajun Spice and crumbled Blue Cheese, Candied Jalapeno & Cheddar, Bourbon & Brown Sugar, and Sarris Chocolate. When you look at the photos of the flight, it doesn't look like a lot of food, but be warned, it's a shareable for a reason. To put it in perspective, it is eight thick and long slices of bacon with ingredients on them. I was planning on trying something else from the menu, but the Bacon Flight is a meal in itself; be warned. I chose an Old Forrester Bourbon from the Bourbon Menu and a local craft beer. The flight was amazing and filling, and the bourbon was a good match for the meal. Overall, a great experience, and I learned my lesson so that next time I'm there I'll try something else or bring a friend or two. If you love Bacon, Bourbon and Beer, this is the place for you.

So the larger your group is, the harder it will be for you to get a table. Parking can get tricky too. My own gaggle of friends has learned to carpool, and we accept that we won't always be seated directly together. Like any good diner, Dog House's menu has plenty of breakfast options, along with burgers and sandwiches. The menu is simple but solid, and the prices are reasonable. The French toast is my bestie's favorite, and I can confirm that their burgers and Belgian waffle are also quite good. Most recently I ordered the Chicken & Waffles; it was tasty, but I admittedly wish it came with more syrup. Also wouldn't have been upset if it came with one more tender since they were on the smaller side. The staff are very nice and they clearly work as quickly as possible. Of course, their speed is always dependent on how busy the diner is overall. I'll echo other reviewers saying that if you go in expecting to eat at a small town diner, you won't be disappointed. And my recommendation is to order a breakfast item or a burger to get the whole small town diner experience!
