    Plain Cheesecake

My friend and I were driving back from Ohio to Brooklyn, NY and needed a place to stop for lunch. We are so glad we chose Roland's!! Everything was absolutely delicious. We had a salad, Roland's Pasta, garlic bread, and Chicken Milanese. The flavors were amazing and the price is incredibly fair. At the end of the meal we got to try a slice of the family recipe cheesecake- WOW! We had the original flavor but they also had a salted caramel pretzel and a pumpkin swirl flavor. I can't imagine any of them aren't spectacular. Additionally, the service was kind and speedy. I am saving Roland's in my favorites for the next roadtrip!

Love this place! The parking lot is a little rough but other than that this place is top notch. We stopped by for dinner after graduation and were not disappointed. We were asked if we had a reservation when we arrived. We didn't and were seated right away. The building itself is old but has lots of charm. Our waiter was friendly and attentive throughout our time there. The menus were sheets of paper put onto a clipboard which was a first for me. The food was delicious! I went with the chicken parmigiana with angel hair pasta. The servings were HUGE! The fresh bread also hit the spot. I highly recommend giving them a try.

Family owned and operated Italian eatery in Washington PA.  They take pride in the high-quality food they serve that is prepped from scratch and always made to order.  Located in an old building but has a ton of charm and the food is incredible.  They do take reservations, but walk-ins are welcome.  They seem to do a lot of takeout business as well as dine in.  Most menu items come in a small or large option which is perfect depending your party size!!! While there, tried the house bread which came out warm, the fried zucchini which has made my top five favorite list- perfectly breaded and fried, the stuffed hot banana peppers came out bubbling and were so delicious. For our meal we split the hot sausage hoagie, that was covered in their pasta Roland sauce, peppers and onions - all sandwiches come with a side, their garlic Parmesan fries are unreal! Also had their chicken Romano, for that side we did linguini pasta with Alfredo! The Romano was different but very good- mostly breaded with egg, not breading but really tasty. Loved everything we got! can't wait to go back!!!!!

    Gin jam cocktail- WOW!

WOW, where do I begin?! Wish I could give a six star review. I can't say enough good things about Roland's! I only ate here a handful of times before they closed down a few years ago. I think it was during covid that they opened back up doing takeout only, and recently they've expanded to in person dining again. I ate here a few months ago with a large party and we all shared everything family style. Everything was absolutely fantastic- from the bread, to the salad, to the pastas, and the dinner entrees of chicken and eggplant parm. I never eat marinara pasta out at restaurants (I'm biased that my dad makes the best spaghetti) but I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious their classic spaghetti was- would definitely order again and that is unheard of for me. Service was top-notch. They had a small cocktail menu, so I ordered the only drink with gin: the gin jam. Y'ALL, this might be the best specialty cocktail I've ever had at a restaurant. Like seriously. My friend also had a margarita I tried that was also amazing. I recently got takeout of the chicken romano and the alfredo. HOLY COW. This is the BEST alfredo I've ever had, no contest. I'm usually not an alfredo fan either; if I order pasta out I typically like a pesto or olive oil sauce. The chicken romano is out of this world. Their fried zucchini is also so good- you can tell it's homemade; it tastes like zucchini my grandma made me for me as a little kid. I literally cannot rave enough about Roland's. I tell everyone in the tri-state area to eat here!! They have really became one of my top five Washington restaurants. I NEED to go back! GET HERE!!!!

    Salmon and broccoli

For the price, the food underwhelms. Not particularly memorably and serving size varies from meal to meal. Menu online is also dated saying you get multiple sides and bread. We only were allowed one side per entree and no bread. Wouldn't eat there again.

Is this restaurant permanently closed? Has been our favorite for so many years! Is it relocating elsewhere? Vince!.....please let us know! Thanks !

I’m afraid so. A friend of mine who was a regular there informed me. It is my understanding that the restaurant could not engage a sufficient number of staff members to keep it running.

A Hidden Gem in Washington, PA!…read more The Washington Brewing Company is the real deal! You can absolutely taste the love in every beer--they clearly take pride in their craft. Each brew we tried was smooth, flavorful, and uniquely their own. We shared a few appetizers and every bite was fantastic, but the fried zucchini sticks were the standout--crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Definitely a must-try! Their happy hour is a great deal, and the atmosphere is just what you'd want in a local brewery: relaxed, welcoming, and fun. The location is spot-on--easy to get to, with plenty of space inside and out. To top it all off, the staff have been incredible--knowledgeable about the beers, super friendly, and genuinely fun to talk to. It's the kind of place where you feel like a regular, even if it's your first time. We'll definitely be back. Cheers to great beer and even better people!

I have been to Washington more times than I can county yet I hadn't been here yet for some odd reason but we decided to change that on the way to the airport. Before arriving me and my gf were rather hungry so we were looking on Yelp for a place to eat before deciding to stop in here for a quick bite and a cold beer on a smoking hot day. Upon arrival it seemed like a cool place and had plenty of parking behind the business. Although once we entered the business the atmosphere seemed kind of off and unappealing. Everyone looked pissed off or unfriendly. The servers weren't much better if I am being honest, which I always am when leaving reviews. We sat at the bar for a few minutes before I had to ask a girl who was too busy chatting away with another girl for a menu and water. We needed someone to cool us off immediately due to it being extremely hot outside. TBH: nothing is more of a put off than entering a business you are about to spend money in and seeing the wait staff on their phones ignoring the people who are there to help them make money cause God forbid you don't tip someone 20% who are on Instagram 85% of the time you are there and instead of asking if you need anything else while you are constantly saying, can I have another this or that. SMH! The wait staff here seemed all over the place and it wasn't even busy when we stopped in. I guarantee every single person who was working was behind the bar at some point and we either had to ask for more water, more sour cream, more whatever; that's annoying! We started off by ordering a flight of beer and that seemed like a whole job in itself to the waitress. Then we decided to go with the nachos. Which I must say took way too long to arrive considering there was only 8-10 people max while we were there and easily 5-6 waiters and 2-3 bartenders. The beer was good and the nachos were pretty decent as well. Neither was anything to write home about but they did their job. Another thing I did notice about this place is it seemed grimmy and more of a bar than an actual brewery. Most of the time when a brewery needs to serve liquor it just doesn't have great beer or great brewery vibes that us brewery lovers go for and we rarely return, sadly. There was nothing welcoming about this place and with the food being just decent and the wait staff not being of the greatest in the personality and service categories I'd say there is a 99% chance we won't return or recommend this place to any of our friends or colleagues. Thanks and good luck :)

Peeling up the cheese revealed a leathery surface of the dough that indicates the pizza was way beyond its serving time. The Mercato Meat was in the same boat, just a dried up lukewarm thick square of bland dough. I get that this is a food court, but 10 bucks for two squares and a drink should at least get you something edible.
