The appetizers were great, my only negative note is I wish the soup was hotter esp with it being a bisque. There were nice chunks of lobster in it though, the salad was well dressed and refreshing and the fried goat cheese was piping hot and served with a marmalade which was delicious. For mains, I ordered the pancetta wrapped cod and Star got the gnocchi. The gnocchi was delicious and pillowy, the tomato confit was quite salty on its own. My cod was well cooked and very flaky, I wish the pancetta was crispy. It seems like the pancetta was just wrapped around after the fish was cooked which I found odd. The ratatouille underneath was well seasoned and delicious. Our server was super sweet and attentive, the service was great.

We wanted to sit at the bar, which was pretty crowded, but we were able to get seats. Shelby, the bartender, was friendly, and we started with crispy Brussels sprouts, which were tasty with a chipotle dipping sauce. We also ordered the pork tenderloin and a grouper special served on grilled watermelon, which of course, I had to try. The food was creative, original, and delicious. We definitely want to try the brunch menu.

We also had one dirty martini and two other cocktails at our table and everyone enjoyed their drinks. The charcuterie board was a nice assortment and came out with slices of toasted bread that was probably sourdough and quite good. The wings were good and came out well done and with the sauces on the side as requested. Very tasty. Our server was extremely friendly and attentive as was the food runner. My friend commented that it reminded her very much of the pubs she'd been in when she visited Ireland. I don't think you could give a bigger compliment to an Irish pub!

Zappa, C.W.Stoneking, you don't hear this music anywhere around here. Started with an old fashioned which feature a "well bourbon" for happy hour. Don't recommend. Ordered two of the small plates and the highlight was the Thai shrimp. They were huge (12s?) and just fried crispy enough. The chicken wings got the job done. Came with 9, but my GLP drugs only tolerated 6. Overall I would try again, but with Bulleit Rye and just the shrimp. Or the fish and chips.

Service was fine. Restaurant was clean. I ordered the Cajun Pasta It was described as this:…read more"Grilled chicken, shrimp and Andouille sausage, penne, Parmesan cream sauce, shallots, garlic, white wine, Cajun spices, Calabrian peppers" The cream sauce was a curdled paste. It was less a sauce and more of a discolored lumpy paste. The dish./meal was cold in some spots and hot in other spots - the shrimp was rubbery - so it was obviously microwaved. It was not made fresh. It was absolutely disgusting. Over all, it felt like an insult - uneatable and unpresentable. Whomever cooked it should be ashamed to allow such a dish to go out into the dining room. It was completely unacceptable. I had been to this restaurant a few times before as my wife likes it. My only other problems were that they occasionally served cold french fries. I am done with this place. I had originally heard that the people who opened it were part of a group that had successful restaurants and cared about serving good food. It is not that now. Until I hear otherwise, I will never return... not even if it were free. The waitress said she'd get the manager - but the manager never showed. I did not have to pay for the Cajun Pasta...

First I'll start with how their overall management works. The Newark location recently had a man crash into the front of the restaurant at 1am in the morning. The Delaware On Line news article stated he had been there for several hours drinking. I would consider that overserving a customer. ***LICENSE VIOLATIONS***. Establishments that overserve face administrative citations, hefty fines, and potential suspension or revocation of their liquor license through the Alcoholic Beverage Control Commissioner. They finally asked him to leave and he and friends went to his pickup and proceeded to drink. After a while he decided to drive his pickup into the restaurant causing damage. He was shortly arrested and charged with DUI and other crimes. In regard to my incident at Lantana which I have been frequently going to and met nice employees and customers until....On my last visit it was unfortunately during shift change. That is an awkward time between the bartenders which I understand. I'll cut to the chase and state what happened. I had one beer with the day time bartender. The new bartender LOGAN came on duty. As she was walking down the bar I raised my hand three times trying to get her attention. Unbeknounst to me she was having a conversation with people at the end of the bar fifteen feet away so I was interrupting her. When she finally acknowledged me she slammed my one beer tab on the bar and refused to serve me. No reason given. It's so hypocritical that a customer at the Newark location was being served for several hours. However I get the boot from someone who feels she is ***ENTITLED*** after fifteen minutes of her starting her shift.

The food gives you that fine dining experience without the pretentiousness. The staff is warm and friendly -- shout out to Chet for his amazing service. They were also very accommodating to our son who was in between napping when we began dining, setting up a high chair for us in a way that would allow him to continue sleeping in his car seat. We started the meal off with some seared scallops that were perfectly arranged. Next, my wife had some seared tuna while I ordered the Colorado bison -- both items off of the special seasonal menu. The dishes were incredibly flavorful and the veggies that surrounded the meat added a nice complement. I also really enjoyed my California cab, as did my wife with her house Manhattan. We will definitely be back next time we are in Delaware, and highly recommend to anyone visiting the Hockessin area!
