Pricing is a bit high but definitely worth it here! The staff is wonderful and my dog adores them. You can definitely see how much the groomers care about the dogs. I've even had an employee write "We love him!" on my dog's cleaning bill. The only thing that really was frustrating is that they're usually quite booked out, which can sometimes be difficult. But I'm happy for them that they're booked and busy. Will only go elsewhere if I'm really in a time-rush, but I have no reason not to bring my baby here :) read more

This establishment would have 5 stars if Jamie J still worked here. My two pups loved coming to see Jamie! They had that happy glow like "Mom, I had the best time!" when I'd pick them up from their appointments and you can tell how much Jamie loved on them and took care of them like they were her own. Post-Jamie, I gave Groom Room a chance since we had been going there for over a year to see Jamie. The appointment and groomer and/or receptionist were very transactional and my pups didn't have that same glow and quality groom like they had previously. Mid-year they also hiked up their pricing by at least $20 which we were fine with up to Jamie's departure. Not worth the $125+ (with tip for a large dog) for a subpar experience at a commercial pet store. Thankfully after 6 months we have tracked down Jamie who offers her services elsewhere and immediately booked our next appointment! read more

I've been to three petco before I found one I actually loved! Some petco groom was unprofessional and one petco groom even ran 15minutes late to our first grooming appointment. I finally found this one and just walking in you get a nice clean environment. I'm sure all dogs have anxiety away from their owner. Mine sure does but I've been here 3 times already and all times I made sure my dog Bizzy was taken care of by Jamie! I wasn't nervous leaving him with Jamie she always made sure she explained everything that will be done. I also didn't know they took tip! So a heads up tip your groomer! I made an appointment for my dog through Petco a few days ago and selected this location because it's closer to home and bypassed an appointment for yesterday due to the distance. I spoke with a groomer to make sure they had my dog's information through Petco and was told that they required an additional vaccination in order for my dog to be seen. There's nothing on the Petco website that states this information, they canceled my dog's appointment today the day of the appointment. There's no notice or notification through text confirmation in which is how they communicate with you book with them. This isn't a Petco grooming company, they're using the name but requiring more than the actual Petco grooming company are requiring. read more

This was my dogs first grooming appointment ever (my first experience too as I am a first-time dog owner). I spoke to the groomer and she was very indifferent and did not seem to like her job one bit. Maybe it was just a bad day. She barely went over what services my dog would receive and did not ask me once if there was anything they should know. They said she should be ready in 2.5 hours. Cool! 2.5 hours later, still no contact from the groomer. I drive back to the shop and my dog is still not done. No problem! Ill walk around Petco and wait for a text (I didnt want to rush anyone). I eventually go back to my car and sit in the parking lot for TWO HOURS. Still no call or text about my dog. I started to get worried so I went back inside to check. I was told my dog had been ready for hours and they tried to call and text me multiple times. Mind you, my phone was receiving text messages just fine. Not sure what happened there because they had the correct number on file. Anyway, we check out and I apologized profusely and was extremely embarrassed that I had left her there for hours when she was ready to go home. Once we are home, I notice that she has a welt on her head, her nails are jagged, and her private area was trimmed but not cleaned in the slightest. Paw pads look great... They did not make me aware of the welt on her head AT ALL. I have no clue what happened to my little girl. Overall, it was not a good fit for either side. We will not be returning. Its sad, because I was really looking forward to building a relationship with this company. read more

I used to go to the Groom Room exclusively for Jamie. She used to groom my 2 fur babies here and since she hasn't been working here anymore- we've been taking her to Jamie's home for their monthly grooms! They are always so excited to see her. Jamie also works at two local veterinary hospitals (advanced care and best friends, as well as the ER sometimes when they need her!) which has been great having someone we know and trust available to go to when they need to get their check ups. Also so comforting knowing my girls are in great hands. If you're missing Jamie, go pay her a visit and get your grooms done at her in-home grooming! I took my little pup to the Groom room today and Catie was extremely nice. She was so understanding when I forgot my dogs vaccinations record and allowed me to reschedule without any trouble. Her staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful as well. This place is very clean and well kept. I dropped off my pup at 9am for her appointment and Catie allowed 3-4 hours to work with my dog since I told her how my pup gets scared easily at the groomers from the past. Turns out my pup did pretty well because Catie was able to do a full bath & cut & some minor dental cleaning for my pup in less than TWO hours! Had an amazing experience with Jamie at the Groom Room! It was our first time getting our dog groomed so we had a lot of questions and concerns. Jamie and the staff did a fantastic job listening and making sure our specific requests were heard before taking her back. We got to watch the end of the hair cut through the window and Jamie was so gentle and great about checking with us on if the amount she was cutting was enough or needed more. You could tell that she really loved what she was doing and was so kind to the dogs there. When our dog came out she was very happy and so so soft! First time my fur baby was groomed by someone else. He looks amazing! Missed a few spots on his feet and his face is a bit short but he is still cute. Would have preferred his face a bit longer and rounder for a teddy bear cut. All in all I'm very pleased. Affordable, close, timely and folks were very friendly. We will be back. UPDATE: Took my fur child back a couple more times. His tail was chopped off. The tip gone, and the fringe was cut. I did voice my anger and they did offer a complimentary grooming which I was apprehensive to use, but I took him back in December. November with the tail chop. December his cut was good but face still too short. Today 2/22/20, tail still has not grown in completely. Prices are fair but just communicate very clearly what you want and have them repeat it back. Good luck. read more

Love this place! My dog, Leah, has been getting groomed by these guys for the past 4 years. If you're looking for a good quality and convenient and overall positive experience this is the place to go! She generally doesn't like baths but her tail immediately starts wagging when she walks in the door here, which just goes to show how amazing they treat her. She's a pretty large sized dog and I truly appreciate how accommodating they always are to fit her in. The location itself is amazing, clean, and so welcoming! I could never take my dog anywhere else. They really know what they're doing, they have a great system in place, and they do it extremely well. We've continued to bring our schnauzer here ever since The Groom Room took over the services at Petco. They all do an amazing job with our dog who requires a very specific haircut for his breed. I'm so glad I found The Groom Room! Kona had her first visit yesterday. From the first time I walked in, the place smelled good, it was clean and looked organized. Everyone was super friendly and provided excellent customer service. Cate was awesome! They provide full service, much more than my last groomers. When I picked Kona up she looked beautiful! I mean everything from her fur in her ears (she got everything!) , trimming/buffering her nails, bathing/blow dry and just how soft she felt, and she smelled so good! The package also included the anal gland which most places charge extra for. I also love the fact that you can view the groomers through the window. My last Groomers had groomed their dogs in a Closed off room. Overall, I am extremely happy I found this place. I truly believe my Kona is much happier because she always cried and had anxiety at the last place. I will be recommending this place to my family and friends. The Groom Room always does a fabulous job with my Golden Retriever Baxter. He's a large dog, and is typically not super excited to go to the groomer.
