It was good but not my favorite and a bit bland for my liking. Vegan Butternut Squash Ravioli- this is one of my favorites here. All pasta is made fresh daily and this one is stuffed with a garlic cashew cream that is mixed with spinach and mushroom, and topped with butternut squash. Different and so good. Always a good choice to come here.

To drink, I had the Les Fumées Blanches Orange Sauvignon Blanc, which I really enjoyed. Someone else had an Old Fashioned. For dessert, we shared the Affogato with mascarpone ice cream, dark chocolate, and espresso, and it was a perfect ending to the meal. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and we appreciated being able to enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace. It is on the pricey side, but that's fairly typical for a farm-to-table restaurant using quality ingredients. In my opinion, of all the restaurants in the Delray Beach area, The Grove is second to none. The food is exquisite. The culinary genius behind The Grove won't lead you astray; they've proven that their flavor profiles are well thought-out and executed to perfection time and again. My sister and I live in Boca Raton, and whenever we dine in Delray, we usually stick to the well-known spots on the avenue. However, a local suggested we venture into Pineapple Grove, which we had never explored before. That suggestion completely transformed our Delray dining experience. Upon entering the restaurant, we were warmly greeted by Nick, the bartender, and Jeremy. They were both incredibly welcoming and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. We started off with delicious martinis and decided to trust Nick to guide our meal choices. We told him we wanted to savor each moment, and that's exactly what we did. The evening began with the most exquisite beef carpaccio--hands down the best we've ever had. Next, we enjoyed cabbage, followed by two different pastas. One was a spicy rigatoni that was simply divine, and the other was a pasta filled with corn in a sauce that was beyond words--you have to try it to understand how incredible it is. For dessert, we had the monkey bread, which was so delicious we could have licked the plate clean! During our meal, the general manager, Dina ,stopped by to introduce herself. After eating at various upscale restaurants in the area, I've never witnessed such disrespect from the staff and management at a "supposedly trendy, upscale restaurant". We had a reservation at 8:30 and arrived punctually. We were not seated until at least 9pm, and the restaurant was not even busy at the time. After that long wait, it took another five to ten minutes until anyone came over to greet us and take drink orders. We just ordered entrees, not even appetizers, and didn't get served dinner until 10pm! An hour and a half after our reservation. Utterly disappointed with the undercooked filet and rubbery chicken, we spoke to the manager and brought this to his attention. We were obviously disappointed with the dining experience and poor customer service. After speaking with the manager, he was unable to provide any solution to our subpar dinner at the Grove. He clearly didn't know how to properly treat his customers. I would DEFINITELY not recommend coming to this restaurant because we paid a high price for such a low quality meal and a overall poor experience. read more

I'm still reeling from the incredible experience I had at The Grove! From the moment I walked in, the service was top-notch. Dina greeted me with a warm smile, the bartender expertly crafted my drink, and our waiter, Jeremey, was attentive and knowledgeable. The real star of the show, though, was the food. The Beef Carpaccio was hands-down better than any I've had in Vegas, New York, or even Italy itself. The Shikoku Oysters from Washington were a delightful touch, and the SWEET CORN AGNOLOTTI was the perfect finale to the meal. Each dish was expertly portioned and bursting with flavor. What truly set The Grove apart, though, was the warm hospitality. The staff went above and beyond, and I even got to meet some lovely fellow guests. That said, I'm taking off one star because of the way reservations are handled before opening. I typically make a 5:00 PM reservation and arrive a few minutes early (around 4:55 PM), only to find a large crowd of guests waiting outside. This has happened multiple times. In Florida's summer heat, it's uncomfortable and frankly unnecessary to have dozens of customers--many of them elderly--standing outside in 90+ degree weather while waiting for the doors to open. During my most recent visit, people were visibly frustrated, hot, and asking why they couldn't simply wait inside the air-conditioned lobby. The issue seems to be a combination of policy and execution. The host staff often appear surprised when guests are annoyed, but the frustration is entirely predictable. If someone has a reservation and arrives a few minutes early, they should be allowed to wait comfortably inside rather than standing outside in the heat. I genuinely enjoy this restaurant and want to keep coming back, but this is an easily fixable customer experience issue. A simple change to allow guests to wait indoors before seating would go a long way toward improving the overall experience. I love duck and ordered the ROASTED HALF DUCK, with an Asian Glaze, Button Mushrooms, and Basmati Rice. Excellent choice.
