Italian sandwich hot and poutine fries

Vibes are super chill here. Seat yourself. Sandwiches and service were 10/10. I recommend upgrading your fries!

    Peanut Butter Bacon Burger

This place is in a strip mall and very unassuming. Don't sleep on it though. Chris did a great job taking care of us. I ordered the peanut butter bacon burger. Peanut butter burgers are my favorite and this one tops the list. It has crunchy peanut butter on the bottom bun; a perfectly cooked medium well burger; a couple of pieces of well cooked crispy bacon and the most amazing bacon jam. The rest of my party couldn't wrap their minds around a peanut burger. After I made them taste it, they understand what they've been missing. I ordered a side of crack fries with my burger. It was the perfect blend of crispy fries covered in cheese, pico, and some yummy lime sauce that added a fresh pop.

    Turkey Reuben! Crack fries!

From the greeting by Leeann to our food! Great first impression. Will definitely be back!

    The chili cheeseburger

The food was amazing! Good size portions, tasted like it was all made from scratch, and well seasoned. The cheesecake was to die for! But the best part was Gina, our server! She was on top of things and never let a drink empty without a refill appearing at the perfect moment! She was friendly, helpful, and all around wonderful! Came from CT on vacation and this was hands down our favorite meal/restaurant of the week! The mustaches at the end were a delightful and fun treat!

Let's start by saying this felt like a whole in the wall spot. It was a self seat place and there wasn't a whole lot going on when we arrived. I thought it was cute they gave out mustaches to try on and wear during your experience. The service was great, our server gave us great suggestions from starters to desserts. Now let's talk food! We started with the Detroit style fries and they were amazing, I loved the added mustard and raw onions on top. My boyfriend got the Detroit chili cheeseburger, which was also really good. They did not skimp out on the chili. I'll add a picture. I ended up getting the steak dinner bowl. I wanted something that felt like "home" and this did not disappoint. It truly tasted homemade and authentic. My kids got the smash burgers and spaghetti with meatballs. I did not try the smash burgers but he ate both and said they were good. I did get to try the kids spaghetti and meatballs which was crazy good! I'd definitely come back again.

    Regular Reuben and Turkey Reuben.

Been wanting to try this place, glad we had the opportunity to pop in tonight to check it out. It is in a strip mall, but quite convenient. Service was quick and the beer as cold. We had the cheese curds for an appetizer and they were crunchy and delicious as well as the marinara sauce that came with it. I had a turkey Reuben my husband had their regular Reuben. Both on Good swirl pumpernickel rye bread. You could tell this was freshly cooked meat, not deli meat, and was piled high. We were pleased you'll be back!

I've been wanting to try this place for months. For whatever reason my family and I haven't made it. Today, I had an opportunity to stop for lunch. I was by myself and was told to sit wherever. Both servers were kind. I tried their Lip Sweater Lager and it was good as well. The service was great & attentive. If I had to pick a downside, it was the "Fancy" ketchup. I need some Heinz! I'll be back to try more!

A bucket list destination for great food, people, and of course mustaches! The best Reuben sandwich and fries ever. The owners are amazing and the service is fantastic. Tell them that the Donut Duster sent you (and check out my photo on the wall of fame)!

First visit to the Claw House and a good experience overall…read more Service was fantastic. No complaints. Started with Oyster Rock. They were very good and had a lot of flavor. For my main, I went with the Lobster roll and fries. The lobster roll was also very good. A good amount of lobster meat and the bread was very soft and held the meat well. Only complaint was the fries. They were bland and cooked unevenly. Will skip those next time but otherwise a great meal.

A table of 4 sat a few minutes before we did and a table of 6 sat probably 10 minutes after them. Our table and the table of 6 were served before the group of 4 who had to ask a bus boy for service. Yikes! Server was sweet besides the empty non alcoholic beverage glasses she did not fill when our food came out. She didn't come back to check in on us until my husband's 6 bites of dinner were already gone. I asked if the portion is usually that small (especially in comparison to the significantly cheaper - MASSIVE PORTIONS we saw being served all around us) and she politely said "yes. typically, sometimes a little bigger." As someone with a culinary arts degree & kitchen background I was very very very disappointed on the portion size of his entree for the price & sizes of surrounding entrees being served (that were cheaper or around the same price) and it literally ruined my entire experience. A smidge dramatic but the God's honest truth! Great view, beautiful patio, friendly service - just extremely disappointed. I planned to order both of us dessert and immediately skipped out & asked for the check when the server finally came over to ask how our food was. This review is hot & cold because my experience was. Would I recommend it? I'd recommend going for the best oysters in Myrtle and a clean, friendly facility - but that's about all I can say! PS - $3 "destination fee?" Clearly I'm not from around here, but it was the only restaurant from north Myrtle down to Murrells to charge us a fee for eating there as a tourist.

Oysters Rockefeller were perfect. The blue cheese dressing is garlicky, homemade deliciousness. Excellent crab cakes and grilled sheepshead. The only slight negative for me is that the remoulade tasted too sweet for my liking, but that's such a minor thing. Can't wait to come back to Pawleys and come here!

Those that had Shrimp and Grits commented that the grits were fantastic but the shrimp (that were ordered grilled) had cajun seasoning on them like blacked shrimp - which was not what they were expecting. I had the She Crab Soup followed by a nightly special, Red Drum stuffed with a crab cake. The soup was OK but I didn't actually find any crab in it and it was kinda bland. The Drum was just awful - I should have sent it back but being in a large group I didn't want to hold everyone up. The stuffed Drum was the most expensive thing on the menu. It was tough, dry and WAY overcooked. The top of the Crab cake stuffing was burnt black. I suspect the dish had been cooked a day or two ago and simply reheated. Our waitress was wonderful, fast, efficient and got everyone's order right. She even put the TV on the Atlanta Braves game for us. I would probably try this place again, but I'd just order something fried.

The second time, later that same day, I ordered (upon the recommendation by their awesome employees Sam and Erin) their "Surf and Turf Tacos". They consisted of grilled chipotle-seasoned shrimp & marinated beef tenderloin topped with mango salsa. This was most definitely a Winner!! There's plenty of both inside and outside seating at this Murrell's Inlet waterside establishment. We were outside (which is actually all covered) at the bar which provides great views of the water. Oh yeah, and as one passes through the inside dining on the way to the outdoor bar, be sure to glance to the walls on your right that are covered with dog pictures and photos. Nice! The staff are friendly and helpful. Sam and Erin were working their buttooskies off getting drinks and orders for everyone at the bar and still had time to occasionally stop and chat with the patrons at the bar. Prices are very reasonable, the atmosphere is laidback and friendly, and the food is great! I highly recommend you check them out. In my future bike travels, if I ever return to the Myrtle Beach area, I'm making this a must visit!
