When craving for some Louisiana food, head to The Gumbo Bros. It did not disappoint. Hubby had roast beef po boy, and I had their shrimp po boy. We also shared a seafood gumbo. Everything was tasty! Food came pretty quickly, too. We received the southern hospitality from the server and chef/manager. I wish we had more space to try other dishes like fried okra and gators. I had over here and sat at the bar, and the bartender was incredibly kind and generous, letting me sample the two dishes I was deciding between. I tried Nanny's Seafood Gumbo, which had a very bold, distinct seafood-forward flavor that might be perfect for some, but for me it was a bit overpowering. The étouffée, on the other hand, was more balanced and lighter, with flavors that just hit in the best way...so it really comes down to personal preference.
