We got into town about 9 PM on the first Saturday that the town began to open up for the season. That meant there were three places to eat in town; a place that served a $17 cheeseburger, a McDonald's, and this place. Unfortunately, they stopped serving sandwiches at 9; moments before we walked in. They only serve pizza after 9 PM. We opted for the pizza and it was a good choice. The pizza was delicious. Unfortunately, we only saw our server three times that evening: when he took our order, when he brought our drinks, and when he brought the pizza out. The place only had a few tables to serve, yet we couldn't even get refills on our drinks. There seemed to be some relationship issues between one of the waiters and his girlfriend as all three of the wait staff stood behind the bar counter and discussed what he should text her after each message he received. When one of the waiters finally looked out at the tables, everyone that had been trying to get checks and to-go boxes jumped on the chance to get his attention. I doubt the "baby mamma drama" is a frequent occurrence but it definitely didn't give anyone a great impression that evening. Otherwise, it was a good little place with great pizza. I would come back for the pizza and to see how improved the service is in the absence of relationship issues. read more

Expensive and cheap quality. The pizza did not look like the pictures at all. We are from Chicago and therefore we know pizza. The dough was cheap like Little Caesars. Little Caesars is actually better. Price was not horrible for a tourist town, but for what we got, not ok. Service was good though. Waitress was pleasant and helpful. read more

What a disappointment! The Cesar salad was room temp and limp. the salad was topped with soggy chicken that tasted like paper. The bread for the BLT was a a greasy mess. The pizza and mushroom bites were no different than you would get from a corporate chain. I should have just thrown my $50.00 in the front door and moved along. The decor is very simple. We ordered 4 different types of pizzas and they were all Perfect! We ordered an Old Faithful, Hawaiian, pepperoni & a pepperoni, black olives with jalapeños. Their pizza has a very thick but fluffy and crispy crust. One of the better crusts I've had! Toppings were pretty good, the fresh mushrooms were buttery and the bell peppers were thinly sliced and crisp. read more

The minute we stepped through the doors, we felt as though we had been transported back in time to the 80's. - And not in a good way. Yup. The person who said the food was terrible was correct. I had the pizza - and it was like cardboard. I am pretty sure they use preformed pizza shells. It was like Boboli, those shells you buy at the supermarket. I found the staff not very friendly, but no big deal as it was just a take out. I hate to say it, but have to be honest. The Gusher advertised an all-you-can-eat spaghetti night. The spaghetti however was alright. Nothing spectacular. BUT my reasoning for giving this low of a review was the service. This restaurant took my money for the full buffett of spaghetti, then as I requested my second plate, my server informed me they had run out and I was not able to get any more. I understand that is not his fault, but he was rude and very difficult to deal with. he took a whopping $3 off my bill. How generous. After having to complain for 5 minutes or so. To make this simple, the food was short of par and the service was just as pathetic. read more

We ate at Gusher twice on our stay in West Yellowstone. They cheerfully and efficiently accommodated our party of 6. There were excellent beers available, and the Gusher Special Pizza was delicious. We liked Marta in the dining room and Gene in the bar. Thanks, Gusher. read more

We went here for lunch with a group of 10. First thing I noticed was the smell, though subtle it was not pleasant, like a combination of old cooking oil and sweat. The place was almost empty, and we were seated quickly and our orders were taken promptly. I ordered the Poor Boy after asking the waiter of I could get my egg over easy, to which he said yes. My wife ordered the fish sandwich and the rest of the group ordered various sandwiches, soup and small pizzas. When the food was delivered, my egg was hard fried to oblivion and my wife's food was forgotten...as in wasn't even made. Without asking if everything was okay, he quickly went back to the kitchen and got her order started. I had to go to the counter and ask them to get me a new egg as well. My side salad consisted of old lettuce that was turning rusty, with a couple of slimy spots, two pieces of celery and one tiny piece of cucumber. The burger itself wasn't bad, once I got my correctly cooked egg, and my wife's fish was obviously frozen but didn't taste too bad. The overall consensus of the group was that the food was mediocre at best, and none of us would return. Bottom line, avoid this place, there's better burger/pizza joints in town. read more

We went in on May 17th 2012. That day food was great,service was great. Very happy with the experience. 2 days later went in again. We were greeted by a male server.He was kind of almost like it was a bother to him. He gave us menus and we sat at a table. For the next 10 minutes we sat there. Employees just stood around, no one said a thing to us. We stood up and left. Decided to go here since it was right next to our motel. The Gusher Special pizza was one of the best pizzas I've ever had. This pizza was baked to perfection, even the cheese on top was toasted and gave a slight crunch; ordered with extra sauce of course.
