Brand new and shiny. Food is fresh and simple. Beer is cold. I like it, pricier than I expected, BUT lots of love. And the photography art work is sharp.

Chicken tenders and fries. Moist and delicious.

Good food and service. Best place we ate, when we ate out. We didn't have a long wait to be seated.

Everything about this place was great!…read more We came in really hungry and had to wait for a little bit to get seated so we were staring at the bakery case and decided to get an everything cream cheese scone. That was the best tasting scone I've ever had! We started off with the garlic bread and it comes out on a pesto. It was toasted just right and has just a splash of balsamic glaze that added the best balance. Whole cloves of roasted garlic on there too! The chili, I can honestly say beat mine, and I make a damn good chili! Just the right amount of heat and the jalapeño cornbread added just the right texture. Bison strip in bourbon garlic sauce was the best meal I have had in a really long time. The vegetable served with it was perfectly cooked and fresh! I highly recommend trying this place you won't be disappointed!

The town itself is quaint, and this felt like a perfect place to grab a bite before heading into the park. We ordered the wild game chili, which was really flavorful and hearty, along with the loaded tots, which were a fun addition to the meal. Inside, the space has great decor with local artwork that adds to the overall feel of the place. It felt welcoming and fit the area well. Overall, a great stop for us and a place I would recommend if you are heading into Yellowstone from this entrance.

They do have a few parking spots there. The stairs from the parking lot leads to their entrance. Fairly large restaurant. You can just take any table available. The menus are at the bar, once you finalize your options, order is taken at the counter. We stopped here for lunch. It was a late launch and this place was deserted, hardly couple of table were occupied. Menu is typical pub options. There's a Bison Cheeseburger on the menu - it's a half pound bison patty on that burger served with fries on the side. Also ordered garden salad with grilled chicken and the buffalo chicken sandwich. Service was great, the staffs were very friendly. They served the food very quickly as well. The bison cheeseburger was really impressive. The sandwich and the salad were good too. It's a $$ place. Overall a nice experience.

Super casual counter service, with usual pub faves as well as some local flavors. We went with the: - hog wings - small but meaty, fried halfway to chicharrones with a Korean sweet sauce on the side, kinda salty even plain on its own - bison cheeseburger - solid burger, excellent and generous fries - brisket sandwich - generous portion of meat, kinda dry so I asked for more huckleberry bbq sauce on the side otherwise not very flavorful. Cole slaw was meh but I don't like Cole slaw (they wouldn't swap for anything else). Again excellent fries! Chased all this meaty salty heavy food with a local brew. Think $75 before tax/tip was pretty normal tourist prices - we were stuffed and didn't finish all the fries and buns.

Think bean nachos but with fries instead of tortilla chips. The kids liked the chicken strips and fries quite a lot. I loved the bison burger, and was glad I ordered it cowboy style with bacon and grilled onions. Its like they torn a single piece of bacon into thirds, and called it 4 slices. 3.The scrambled eggs were under done. 4. Also, microwave the sausage a bit more, please. 5. Coffee was lukewarm and flavorless. 6. All the silverware was on the table. More than just for the seating, but enough for the day. Nice way to share germs, and ensure no one has a clean fork. Have I had a worse breakfast? Yes. Dehydrated eggs in boy scouts. But they some how made real eggs (I could tell by the shell) taste like bad powdered eggs. I'm still trying to identify the after taste. Maple maybe? I won't be back there. I'm sure I can find better food elsewhere, there at least two other places near it that serve breakfast, and the market sells protein bars. This is the kind of touristy place that gives a town a bad rap. Overcharging for bad food and hoping to get away with it.

The building is elevated for optimal viewing of the parade grounds area. INTERIOR ~ This consists of an open floor plan seating with tall white squared columns that are accentuated by the drop tiered similar lighting. Seating is well spaced allowing for both privacy and continuity of viewing the whole floor. Christmas time is always elegantly decorated with tasteful garlands, wreaths and Christmas trees. Interior lighting is more than ample for every dining experience, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Restrooms are located directly through the main vestibule, and are clearly denoted on the right hand side. There are expansive floor to ceiling windows that face out onto the parade grounds area. Often bison and Elk maybe seen roaming freely. FOOD ~ I have frequented this restaurant on numerous occasions. I have dined in the summer season, the winter season and off season. I have been the last guest of the season more than once. With that being said I've only had one meal that was less than par. The Rib eye steak is honestly hit or miss. However the Bison burger, all their salads and soups are always on point. Their juices are about as fresh as you are going to find in Montana/Wyoming areas. Breakfast, I would suggest the breakfast. I believe it's reasonably priced their specialty is the smoked trout bagel. Excellent and you always have an option to add an egg if you so choose. The Trout Bagel was very good. The only problem I saw was at the capers were dry capers, wherein I prefer when they have a bite to them being kept in their brine until usage. The trout is a shredded trout which is a different twist. SERVICE ~ Today, excellent. Mark definitely provides the 5 star/ 5 diamond experience. Which honestly stands out tremendously in a tourist environment. He approaches from the left side serving and cleares all items from the right, maintaines proper posture and never reached across me. He provided seamless service with a well paced flow. Mark was excellent in reading nonverbal cues and had the balance of being attentive while not over bearing. * Just a gentle reminder to the wait staff and hostess. We stayed here for one night and so we had dinner the first day and breakfast in the morning. Both meals were good. For dinner, we ordered the half chicken with chimichuri sauce and the fried Idaho trout fillet. I don't think the chimichuri was authentic but the chicken was well cooked and seasoned. The trout was fresh but very oily, so much that oil oozed out of it while trying to cut it. The sides were good though. For breakfast, we got the avocado toast with eggs and goat cheese and the smoked trout bagel. Huge portions and delicious flavors. Also good coffee! Yes, it is over priced ($15+ for a breakfast dish) but at least the food was good. The service was friendly and the ambiance was pleasant. We appreciated having this option close by.
