Our second visit here was Monday evening and the food, service and overall experience was not very good. On Thursday we were given a children's menu, on Monday none was offered. We asked for the BBQ chicken sandwich for my 1 year old, but asked for just the chicken, no bun and the sauce to be on the side. Was served exactly as we asked. On Monday it was served just as it is on the menu, we had to send it back as my baby won't eat any sauce on chicken. Which is why we wanted it on the side so we can continue to try to introduce sauce to him but also get him to eat some plain chicken. On Thursday I had the pulled pork sandwich and fries. It was great. On Monday I had the quesadilla with barbicoa beef. The meat was excellent, but the bottom side of my quesadilla was soggy, not crispy at all and wet when it was served to me. On Thursday my husband had the Dizzy buffalo burger with the cheese curds, he liked it. On Monday he had the Westerner sandwich, he said it wasn't great. He ended up only having a couple of bites. I'm not sure what the difference was, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that hopefully they were just having an off night. Round out the two visits at 3 stars. I'd give them another shot if we visit again since one time was a really great experience.

Unfortunately I didn't expect it to require 25 minutes of patience, while onlooking new arriving customers whom were receiving their bar beverages within reasonable waits. I politely asked our server how that beer was coming and he replied that he'd check. Several more minutes past and he returned with an apology and promise that it was coming soon. Mind you, the beer I ordered was in a can. More time passed and I asked the server if I need to go to the bar myself and talk to the bartender and he insisted that it wasn't necessary. I waited a few moments and witnessed lots of discussion but not beer being procured. I then walked up to the bar and relayed the situation to the bartender who then handed me a beer different than the one I had just requested directly to his face. Tossed it to me and then asked if I wanted it in a glass. Over the rest of the meal, I was given 3 weird, long, unaccountable apologies. The cost of the beer was left on the bill. Our kids had a variety of sides (rice, fried egg, fries, fry bread) and loved it all, plus the kids Mac and cheese 4/5. The wine and service were both great as well. Unfortunately, breakfast was a completely different experience. The servers were nice but disorganized. Three of us had the breakfast hash and gave it 1/5 stars. It was dry, flavorless, and the bacon was so undercooked it was raw. The French toast on the other hand was phenomenal 5/5.
