Pretty heinous experience, and it's a subway sandwich so I figured how bad could it really get? Should have abandoned the idea when I saw the empty everything, stale food and shredded napkins all over the floor. Cutting boards were disgusting, crumbs and dust on every surface. The staff were funny to interact with, and had some dope music on aux, but honestly pretty gross as well and as someone who has worked in some pretty rough joints I can certify the food handling was horrific. I mean snot on gloves, food being dropped and put back in. Anyways, I think I paid some solid money for a "forced consciousness expansion" in the words of Hunter S. If I'm being honest, I wouldn't have finished the transaction if it weren't for our time crunch. They threw things together haphazardly on our sandwiches and the prices were INSANE. Two meatball footlong, one veggie-only footlong and one 6-inch veggie-only sandwich for $45.72 not including chips, drinks, or anything. Just sandwiches. They had signs up about it being a "mask-free zone" out of respect for the hearing impaired but let's be honest. They weren't likely hard of hearing. At least I didn't notice, though I did take off my mask briefly to order just in case that was true because I do care about others. Frankly, I think it was their way of giving a middle finger to those who actually care about the health of others. Got kind of sick of the heavy and unhealthy dinners out so opted for some veggie filled subs one night in West Yellowstone. These subs just hit the spot. Staff was incredibly sweet as well. Just anticipate that they are sort of slow. They get quite a bit of foot traffic as well. read more

There were children working, the workers were not organized nor stayed in a line, they did not wear masks but all customers did, they touched several subs and food items and the till with the same gloves. First of all, the two young children working were wonderful and kind. The young man even helped me out when I did not have exact change, if you see these two youngsters - give them a tip. They are quotelitWhat was not wonderful was the fact that their father or whoever he was - was openly chastising these two kids, and at one point insulting them. If I could give this absolutely horrendous subway a zero star review, I absolutely would. My husband and I went in after a lovely trip to Yellowstone, and naturally we were very hungry afterwards. If I knew how immensely disappointing the service and sandwiches would be I wouldn't have ever gone in. Along with the fact that AFTER we paid, it was brought to our attention that apparently there is a resort tax, which the cashier kindly did not inform us of. The sandwiches had practically nothing on them when we even added extra meat and cheese. The ingredients were dry, limp and incredibly underwhelming. Only one of the employees (out of 5) was able to completely communicate with us in English. And the man who was making our sandwiches wasn't able to tell us what was on an Italian BMT. (8/17/2016) We stopped for gas before heading into Yellowstone and decided to grab a quick lunch at Subway, which is conveniently connected to the Conoco on the corner of Rt. 191 and Rt. 20, major intersection, great visibility. Don't be that asshole who leaves your car at the pump while you go in to get a sub. Move your car to a parking space when you're done pumping gas. Place is pretty microscopic, maybe four two-tops crammed in along the front and side. They had two ladies working the weekday I was there and it was lunchtime. Thank god we got our orders in fast, there seemed to be a lunch rush as we sat down to eat, and it wasn't helped by the difficult customer hogging the line. Ultimately we ended up ordering, eating, and leaving before that difficult customer even got around to paying. Sometimes it's not the staff's fault things move slow. It does seem that prices here are higher than in other locations, might be the overhead, but a regular foot-long will run you over $9. BONUS: bilingual staff speak Spanish. read more

I'll give them four stars despite the fact that today (July 1) appeared to be, "We changed the prices but neglected to or failed to notice that we needed to update the reader board" day..... I walked in at 11:15 AM, only one at the time. I ordered a "half sandwich" and immediately got the "robot mentality" response of "do you want 6 inch or 12 inch"? So, I jokingly said "well, I DID say "half" so wouldn't that imply I wanted 6 inch? I HATE ROBOT MENTALITY! I get to the cashier to pay for it. The reader board said my half sandwich was $5.59. I saw that the computer was charging me $5.79 and adding 3% Resort tax (17 cents) for a total of $5.96. I then stated, "um.... your reader board says my sandwich is $5.59 but you are charging me $5.79...." The cashier said "It's because of the 3% resort tax." (Oh my, obviously not a math person!) I replied, "I understand the 3% resort tax, but you applied that resort tax to $5.79 not $5.59 as your board says...." Again, I was told, "The difference is the 3% resort tax." (I can't believe what I'm hearing!!!!) Let me repeat my story a SECOND time..... (blah blah blah blah blah....) The MANAGER they said "It's because of the 3% Resort tax..." By then, there was a long line behind me, people were getting upset, and someone offered to pay the 20 cents for me. I said "no thank you, they need to know that their computer prices aren't matching the reader board...." So I explained the story A THIRD time to the MANAGER! The Manager then tried to change which sandwich I got to get the price right and discovered (you are noticing this NOW???) that ALL the prices had been changed. So, the Manager got on the phone to...... "Someone...." and explained "you need to tell us when you change the prices because a customer is complaining...." At that point there was a long line, and out of compassion I offered to pay the price charged because..... at least the manager tried to call someone to ask why the price difference.... Apparently the manager was told to give me a 10% discount, so I got a discount (but the discount was calculated off the $5.79, oh well......price was still less than what the reader board said....) I apologize to anyone who was standing in line behind me, but I don't like it when the reader board says X and you are charged Y. Incredible customer service. We got there about 10 minutes before opening as we didn't know what time they opened, the sweet worker immediately unlocked the door and asked us to come on in. Sadly this Subway is about the worst one we've ever been to and they have a great location that could rock it. We arrived at 930am to get our sandwiches to go as did many others. The line during our time there (about 20 minutes) was always to the door and only 1 person was working. We noticed the chip section was almost out but we didn't ask if there were more in the back because the person working was clearly not happy and over whelmed. When having our sandwiches made not all ingredients were available such as the cucumbers that she just ran out of and told the person in front of us that she was out. We also noticed very little bread in the ovens but that didn't affect us. However when we ate our sandwiches later the bread was a bit stale. She seemed to not care what anyone ordered and was in robot mode. Don't know if the person is the owner or just works there but this is a franchise and the franchise owner would not be happy with this location nor our it's customers. read more

Maybe because they are close to a tourist town their regular $6 foot long are $8-$9. They are skimpy on the meat and vegetables... I ve been to a lot of sub restaurants. Just came in here and ordered five sandwiches. They were very busy and out of a lot. They didn't have American cheese. Wouldn't make my daughter's kids meal on white bread. I live in WA and have never had any Subway refuse to put a kids meal sandwich on white bread. Dr. Pepper was out as well. The service wasn't bad and it didn't take long. Ordered a pizza and it was really good! They have good quality food but the service was horrible! When my family came inside, no one greeted us. The host was counting money and didn't even acknowledge us. After he finished, he just left. After 5 minutes of waiting he finally came and took our order. We didn't wait too long for our food but they came back to send a text saying our food was up and we immediately came up. I go to subway at least 2-3 times a week and they always give me extra veggies because I order veggie delite no cheese. We ordered 6 subs online and had the pick-up time set to 9:40am. When we arrived there at 9:35am, they had JUST started our order. We were the only customers in there but they couldn't even get one of our orders right. At the end, we were told that we aren't able to order online or through the phone and that next time we have to order in-store. It's understandable if they can't control the ordering options on the website because it's a franchise, but they could've called our number and told us it wasn't an option (we had already paid online). The lady got huffy with us; how is it our fault or problem? The reason? Prices are incorrect online... in-store prices actually cost more than usual Subway prices. I went in there today (lights were on the lady was in uniform behind the register ) I get inside and she looks at me and says I'm closed today . I was in town looking for something with vegetables in them and went to the Subways looking for the Veggie Delight. It took me a while to find a parking spot on the street about a block away because they don't have any parking available. The store was otherwise empty but I guess that's normal at the time I was there. The store was exceptionally clean (I've been in many Subways) and the vegetables looked quite good so they gave me the options. I ordered and gave them a $10 and was a bit surprised that the footlong was $9+ but this is a tourist area and things are expensive in general. I left the change for a tip. The sandwhich was excellent (whole wheat, pepperjack and all of the vegetables with sweet onion dressing). They do have something stating that they don't participate in national promotions like the cheap deals on footlongs. I felt that I got good value for what I paid - but you may be a little miffed if you're used to the usual national promotions. read more
