This was a nice bakery stop during our visit to West Yellowstone. The pastries were excellent and the foo foo coffee was high quality. It is tourist area priced, but worth a morning stop before heading in to the park. read more

After Yellowstone trip, exited to Montana entrance of the park. We were able to explore the town. This Bake shop was highly recommended for their famous Big cinnamon pastry. At 2 pm , walked in and the very nice server said " We are out of cinnamon since 11am" Oops, no more. Anyway ended up buying their Lemon Blueberry Muffin which was so good . The tart taste of lemon was so distinct. A lot of blueberries and the muffin was so moist and delicious. With that we got Americano decaf coffee freshly made. Overall it was a great dessert stop. I arrived at this bakery right as it opened at 7 a.m., and there was already a small line forming, which I took as a good sign. However, the service was quite slow, as there was only one person handling both coffee orders and serving customers. I ordered lattes and a blueberry muffins. While the latte was good, the muffin was extremely dry--so much so that it was nearly inedible, even with the latte to wash it down. It was disappointing, especially considering how good it looked. I'll skip the muffins next time and just go for the lattes read more

Very cute place! There was a good selection of tea and other hot beverages. Looked like there were non pastry items available as well. There was seating available. And street parking is free. I got a huckleberry bear claw and it was simply amazing. The dough was beyond fluffy. The huckleberry was sweet but the dough was not. There was a bit of powdered sugar dusted on top. Got a bite of the caramel long john too. That was amazing very good. The doughnuts are Bavarian cream filled which the person behind the counter informed us as we looked. Quick service. We stopped here for breakfast during our visit to Yellowstone NP. They have a variety of bakery/pastry/breakfast items. Their prices are more affordable compared to other places in the area. They have cinnamon rolls for $6.50 and pastry items for $4.25. We came here twice so I was able to try their huckleberry bear claw ($4.25) which was pretty good along with both a hot and iced coffee. read more

Second monster cinnamon roll we tried in town. This was the clear winner. More vanilla in the delicious light fluffy frosting. The roll was light and airy, i ALWAYS want more cinnamon, it is a cinnamon roll, of course. At 2/3 the Price of the competition, the winner is in the frosting!! Buttery delicious!! Bear Country Bakery is known for its Cinnamon Rolls and Bakery items that you can grab and go on your way into the park. (See picture of cinnamon roll the size of your head!) We went for a birthday cake early in the morning hoping to order one and pick it up later in the day. The baker apparently was not in the mood to make a cake, and told the girl to tell us she was out of town. They did however have a selection of beautifully frosted cupcakes ready to go that you bought by the each. We picked an assortment of frosting colors, and the cashier helped us pick some birthday candles to match, which was very nice. The cupcakes looked pretty, but had no flavor and were very dry, and only came in chocolate and vanilla-ish flavors. At least we were able to have pretty cupcakes to celebrate a birthday while away from home. read more

This place has amazing cinnamon rolls and are they ever huge! My husband and I got a cinnamon roll (we split it) to have with our afternoon coffee and we also picked up a chocolate bear claw and a white chocolate raspberry bear claw for breakfast the next day. Everything was very good. The huge cinnamon roll was only $6.50 and it was very fresh. The claws were $4.25 each. The gal that waited on us was very nice too. It's probably a good thing that we don't live in the area, I'd hate to make this a regular stop. read more

Tried one of their very large cinnamon rolls, it's pretty good. I was very pleased that it is not overly sweet and the roll itself is nice and soft. It didn't have quite enough cinnamon filling for me, ymmv. I also grabbed a couple bear claws for the next morning. I was a little worried about finding a good cup of coffee. The drive through coffee stand was closed...ad well as the two other coffee shops we tried. Third time was a charm. The ladies here were so sweet. It was crazy busy but they still had a smile for everyone The coffee was excellent. The kids really enjoyed the huckleberry lemonade. Each baked treat was delightful. We shared the HUGE cinnamon roll with three people. The kids had a chocolate glazed donut and the chocolate bear claw. They squealed YES when I asked if they were tasty. I'm so glad we stopped in. Food not temperature controlled Just spend your money else where. Food tastes days old and I'm feeling sick now . Been trying to support smaller businesses lately so I gave this place a call, I called ahead to confirm they had bacon egg sandwich's, croissants, or bagels. I was told all was available and a yes by the girl at the front. When I get there I'm told they don't sell anything with bacon or egg or sell bagels or croissants. I'm asking what has egg then so I can get some protein and she doesn't even understand what I'm asking. I have to look around then point and ask "does this have egg?" She then says "yes they all have egg" .....? Girl!!!!! Convince I'm just being f w at this point I pick the breakfast croissants, she proceed to ask if I want them heated up I say yes. They were cold by then time I walk outside and into the car in front the shop. Guess what my croissant didn't have egg‍‍ For the pastry's they ARE DAYS OLD!!! I asked if the donut i was picking has no cream filling in it she said no cream, guess what IT DID! I'm just convinced she doesn't understand what I was asking and she doesn't understand english or even what the products contain at the place she is working at. $40 to the trash being I'm going to throw it up and going to waste for how stale the pastry's were read more

My brother & sister-in-law went here for coffee this morning and got me a cinnamon roll. Oh my goodness, it was wonderful. It was likely the largest sweet roll I have ever seen and better than any I have ever had. I am extremely picky on bread products and often find them to be doughy but this one was perfect. It had two types of frosting/icing on it and was entirely covered in the stuff. Well with the price and highly recommended. read more

We stopped in to grab a quick cup of coffee. What we found was an amazing bakery. We had a breakfast croissant with Egg and sausage and it was amazing. So the next morning we stopped in for coffee and this time we tried the lemon blueberry muffin. The flavor was so incredible it was like eating fresh lemons and berries. This place makes some amazing bakery items. While we were there numerous locals stopped in to by fresh loaves of bread. This place is a must try!!!!!! read more

The bear claws are incredible! Ate here over the summer several times. When I came in before work at 7:30ish it was usually a small line. I always say a line or a wait means your in the right place! They also make cakes for birthdays and special occasions. Nice cakes! Grand Prismatic Spring cake is really pretty! Specialty coffee and cappuccinos. They have gyros but I never tried those. My husband says their great! Highly reconnecting for a quick coffee and pastry for on the go. There is also seating. Don't forget a cinnamon bun. Those things are huge! Let's start with the good: the service was quick and the cinnamon rolls were huge and delicious. The coffee was good. I ordered three sausage, egg & cheese croissants and neither my husband or boys liked them. The egg portion had a funny texture and the sausage was TERRIBLE tasting. One kid forced it down so he could have the cinnamon roll, and my husband and other son could not. We threw them away. I ordered the ham and cheese quiche- it had a slightly funny taste but it was edible. I asked her to make a sandwich as "BYOS" was listed on the menu but she told me she couldn't because she didn't have any bread. That seemed weird but I let it go.
