If you are in the mood for Mediterranean, give Halal Guys a try! Their service is quick and their food is yummy. I've only tried their Gyro sandwich and it was delicious. They give you a good amount of meat and you can add bell peppers, onions, and olives (extra charge) if you wish. Definitely will make this spot a go-to! I get my white sauce on the side to avoid a mess, especially if I'm taking my food to go. Extra sauce is available for less than a dollar and it is a sizable amount (see photos). read more

I used to love this place and happily frequented it. Sadly from our most recent experience it has gone downhill - think landslide. To be fair, it was toward the end of the night but my son and his girlfriend each got chicken wraps and I got a falafel wrap. We ordered a side of falafel and asked for 1 extra tahini. The total came to over $52! We got charged $1 for each of the extra 4 tiny tahinis they gave us. The chicken wraps were inedible (think dry and nasty tasting) and the falafel wrap sure as heck wasn't worth the $12 they charged + the side of falafel was overcooked. If it weren't for the outrageous prices I might give them a pass and try it again. I think they're in it for the money... but not mine anymore. read more

I realize I'm a child who doesn't want to eat veggies in some of his meals. But seriously, when I ask for no veggies and extra rice, that's what i want to receive. When I ask for no veggies and extra rice and have to pay extra for rice... I definitely want what I ordered. Which is extra rice no veggies. Not only did I not get what I wanted while paying extra, but the veggies spread throughout the entire bottom of the dish. If you're going to make ppl pay extra for something as inexpensive as rice... At least make doubly sure to get my order correct. Yea, my fault for driving here and not checking before I left. I'll take that blame. But I really shouldn't have to do that. read more

My husband and I like coming here when we want something quick. The staff is nice and the food is good. The only thing we noticed is that the portions of meat are getting smaller and smaller. I LOVE HALAL GUYS. First, I love any place that is open late. Some of us don't have the luxury of a functioning circadian rhythm, so I appreciate they're open until midnight. The place was clean, everyone wore masks. Easy checkmark. It's also a gluten/allergy friendly place as long as you tell them not to put stuff on there. All the staff were super friendly and overall wonderful. I can't speak for everyone, but my plate was generous with meat so much that I feel it was a steal! my first time at this location was so great. Estuardo helped me choose the best items on the menu and wow it did not disappoint. the falafel were my favorite because of the crunchy texture outside and soft on the inside. very good 10/10 would recommend falafel. the sandwich was also very good but i would recommend keeping it plain with only lettuce and tomatoes that comes with it. i added olives and green peppers which was a little too overpowering. great service from Estuardo, i will be going back soon read more

It had been a while since I had Halal guys, but I was randomly craving it last weekend so I decided to stop by. This location at Traffic Circle is clean, has ample parking, and their staff is always friendly! During my visit, I was helped by JJ and YonYon and the two guys were friendly & even recommended that my mom and I try the Baklava after we mentioned we loved dessert lol. I can't speak for other locations, but this location never disappoints! I'll definitely be back. read more

Every time I come into Hala guys, it's always a delight. The employees always greet when someone walks through the door. I usually order the usual regular chicken with everything on it and the service and food quality never disappoints. I'm usually in a rush but when it isn't too busy, I'm usually in and out within 5-10 mins. Will be back for the promotion. Henry , was the manager on duty, he was very helpful, I noticed that he was cooking and always working the register to help his team out. I've heard a lot of good things from friends up in LA about The Halal Guys. So while we were up in the area we decided to stop in and check them out. We entered the restaurant right before lunch. There was a small line already ahead of us. But it moved pretty quick. I got the Gyro plate with a side of fries. The meat was pretty good. Seasoned nicely and tender. The lettuce was fresh and the rice was good. What made the meal was the white sauce and the red sauce. The red sauce is fire...literally fire. It was sooo spicy, but good. A drop is all you need. And now I know that. The fries are thin crispy and perfect. Just enough salt, not too much. Next time I visit I think I'm going that Gyro Fries route. read more

I think this was the third Halal Guys location I've tried but they're all pretty much the same. They're a good option when you want something fast. They really speed you through the line, although here the girl making my food and I had difficulty understanding each other for some reason. I told her I wanted a regular chicken platter, and I thought I spoke loudly and clearly, but apparently all she heard was "chicken," because she asked me if I wanted a platter or sandwich, and then asked if I wanted a regular or small. And then when she asked me a question, I had trouble understanding HER. But we worked it all out in the end. I need to remember to ask for no lettuce, though. Because I always end up with a pile of lettuce that I don't know what to do with, so I just throw it away. It'd make more sense if they mixed it in with everything else, but they don't, so it's just a pointless space filler on the plate. read more

I was honestly kind of disappointed with my first time ordering here. I was expecting something similar to where I used to go (Naz's Halal Food) but since I've moved to Long Beach I figured this would be just as good, if not better. But unfortunately the meat/rice/bread was room temp. Not sure if that's the norm here but I was expecting hot food and hot bread with the veggies cold. I wish I could say I want to come back since it's right next to my new apartments but I'd rather drive to Anaheim after work to get my halal fix. At least the service was good.
