A bit slower than the city and some of the employees looked like they don't want to be there. Clean and convenient. Very similar to what's in the city without the street dust on your food. I get it, some people like that, but not me. Definitely will continue to go and support this local store.

I have been eating Halal Guys for over a decade. It was a pilgrimage when I went into NYC, it was a rare treat after going out in college, and it was a decadent lunch out of my midtown office. Halal Guys at 53rd and 6th is longest-running and best-known halal food cart business in New York. It can't be stated enough how far the Halal Guys reach extends. It's rare that 1 singularly perfected dish can unite the Manhattan construction workers, the J.P. Morgan investment bankers, the out-of-town tourists, the Parsons fashion students, and all the city's Uber drivers - let alone from a near 24/7 food cart. It's a classic NYC stable and the line is reliably ever-replenishing. Halal Guys is in the process of leveraging their brand and extending their empire via a franchise platform. Their aspiration is to become the Chipotle of Middle Eastern food. Whether they can retain their original NYC food cart magic, still remains unproven. I attended the Halal Guys Yonkers grand opening and while it may not retain the same street food cart magic, I thought it was a fairly reliable homage to my old memory. Their operations were clean, service was fast, portions were plentiful, and the packaged prepared sauces were familiar. The proteins remain muted in flavor. The falafel remains tough and dry. But overall, I thought this was a fair representation of the franchise brand. I was hoping to get a Halal Guys shirt and pillow during their grand opening celebration, but hopefully I can get one next time!!

Great place for takeout. The entrees are big enough for you to share with someone else. The white sauce makes the average quality falafel and beef taste much better. The baklava is super sweet and moist. It's worth trying, but don't expect this to be as good as the original Halal Guys in the city

Small Chicken & Beef Gyro Platter - wi the Hummus as well. Very good

Ordered a few times so I even downloaded the app now. Believe it or not this is not an unhealthy meal. We like the small combo platter of chicken and lamb which is halal certified. Simple rice, lettuce, tomato and the meat. I'm big into ingredients so I don't use their white sauce anymore and have made my own along with hot sauce. Things like soybean oil steer me away although I used to down the platters in it when I was younger driving to the city to get 53rd! Their baklava was nice and tasty as well. Good service for order with pick up. Quick and easy! Happy you guys are in westchester now. Just look deeper into the additives in your sauce !!

The food was great and affordable. I recommend trying the mix with rice and a lot of white sauce.

Service was excellent! Pretty surprised to be serviced by the General Manager. She was courteous and professional. I'll return to eat there

After a small error in our Uber Eats delivery order, the manager drive 15 minutes to our house to make it right, and then some.

It's always nice and clean here, comfy seats too. What also makes us want to come back is Jose is always friendly, attentive and Jovani always gets our order correct, hot and tasty! Today I had the fish over rice and salad- super good if you have not tried it yet please do! My husband got a really yummy steak and cheese which is his favorite and he only gets it from a place that can make it good... which is always this Shah location!! I of course got the chicken over rice. The rice was an unfamiliar brown which I thought would be an overbearing flavor but not the case at all. The chicken was also alarming since it was a red color. And that is where I should have used better judgement. It was quite spicy which I was not expecting. To my plate I added the cucumber and tomato salad and chickpeas and of course a healthy amount of the white sauce. I also ordered pita bread but could have down without. The bread itself had a strange taste that I did not enjoy and wasn't the usual color of pita bread. Almost seemed like a whole wheat version. This spot ranks as number 2 of halal spots in Yonkers for me! Just keep in mind it definitely has a kick to it!
