I've eaten here before. It's more of a four than a five these days. Today was DoorDash, but I can confidently comment on the quality of today's delivery because my last review was also DoorDash. I got the hand stacked chicken gyro and Greek fries. The gyro was a little dry. The Greek fries were a little limp. They didn't have any seasoning, just the haphazardly applied feta. Typical Greek selection with some burgers and bowls thrown in. The Meat the Greek burger, which is really pork gyro meat and cheese on buttered and toasted bread, was a better offering than what I had today. Not terrible, but there are way too many amazing Greek spots around here to settle for limp, unseasoned fries and dry gyro.

Just ordered from here for the first time in forever. Disappointed in it. My chicken platter came with no pita and little serving for the almost $19.00 price tag. My sister got the chicken wrap and had hardly any chicken

Meat the Greek swept across my Yelp feed a few weeks ago - since the pictures looked great and I'm a fan of Greek food in general, I bookmarked it to try. I was looking for lunch today, and since Eastchester is not too far from me I decided to take a little drive and check this spot out. I was browsing their online menu before heading over - they have a good variety of typical Greek fare - gyros, souvlaki, some salads, burgers, plates, and desserts. I usually get chicken or fish dishes when I have Greek, so I decided to get their chicken gyro platter. The chicken came with a side salad, pita, tzatziki, and fries. I was given the option to add another sauce, so I went with garlic aioli, and also subbed the regular fries for Greek fries. The chicken was good, albeit too salty for my personal taste - nevertheless, it had good flavor and didn't have the typical pressed consistency you see in gyro meat (it was more stacked-style). The Greek fries were essentially fries topped with crumbled feta - the cheese didn't really add anything for me so I could have taken or left it. The salad was simple but effective, and added needed freshness to the meat and potatoes. The tzatziki was omitted from my order (I didn't realize until I got home), but the garlic aioli was quite good - I appreciated the chopped garlic in the sauce. I couldn't finish my meal without trying the baklava; it was just fine - the honey was thinner than in other baklavas I've had, and some of the puff pasty layers were a little dry. They have an intuitive online ordering system, and my food was ready exactly when I specified. Overall, while there are other Greek spots in Westchester that I prefer, I wouldn't be against returning to Meat the Greek to explore more of their menu.

I'm so happy I finally got to try this spot! I ordered a lamb gyro bowl and my fiancé got the gyro platter. The seating inside was pretty limited but we did dine in. Our meals came out in good timing. Definitely will be back!

Food: ordered the MGT and Green fries with 4 lamb Gyros. While I ordered the sauce on the side, the gyros were pretty dry. It is not terrible but not great either. It is average. MGT bread could have been cooked better. Chicken and cheese MGT sandwich was a lot juicer than the gyro. Greek sodas were pretty good. Not too sweet. Overall okay. Since I've been at other places with tastier gyros, my bar is pretty high. Service: ordering online via yelp is quick and fast. Upon arrival food was ready and on time. Pretty good service. Ambience: nice clean place with a few tables. Did not sit to eat as I was there for pick up.

I stole this from their Instagram but assure you this is the real deal and hand stacked meat.

Any Greek spot that has the true hand stacked style pork/chicken gyro meat spinning on that vertical broiler automatically starts off on the highest of notes. That's all you need to know about this place. It's Greek, you either love it or need your head examined.

I first tried Meat the Greek when their power was down because of the storm. I was lucky enough to get the order to go. I got the gyro combination which has all chicken, beef and pork gyro. They are all flavorful and delicious! I also ordered the greek salad, greek frieds (seasoned and sprinkled with feta cheese) which was YUM! What I did was I had tortilla, and I put some meat, greek salad and their amazing sauces. Whichever sauce you get, they are all delicious. I think I tried the garlic aioli sauce, something mustard... Their spinich pie is so delicious. It might be the best one I've ever had. I'd put it in the air frier just to warm it up a bit. They might it in house and you definately taste the difference. We were 3, and one spinich pie, greek salad, greek fries and one combo gyro was a lot. If it's your first time, I'd definitely order a spinich pie, greek salad and a choice of meet or definitely a combo gyro!!!! Oh and don't forget to get Baklava:) People are so nice and I hope they do well! Better go in and Meat the Greek!!!! Won't regret it!

Superb Greek takeout. We ordered chicken souvlaki, red quinoa, grilled vegetables, Baba Ghanoush and all were delicious.

We split several appetizers and one was better than the other. For dinner, I had the whole fish which was delicious! The others had various specials. The Filet Mignon was beautifully presented and was tender and perfectly cooked as were the Lamb Chops. The Pastitsio and Moussaka were also excellent! We split a few of the different desserts and they were all scrumptious and quite decadent . (Unfortunately, there were no leftovers for doggie bags)! All of the food portions were plentiful and everything was amazing. The food was absolutely superb! I hadn't had mediterranean in a while and I'm not head over heels for the place near me so I wanted to try something new. This place seemed decent enough. I ordered a greek salad and hummus with pita. There were varying gyros, another greek salad with chicken, some platters including the falafel platter that GF orderd. My salad was wonderful. The ingredients were fresh and that dressing was lovely. It was a salad I actually enjoyed instead of regretting the entire time I glared at my coworkers who ordered real shit with envy. The hummus was also very creamy, authentic hummus with a slightly different taste than I am used to but head and shoulders above any store bought bullshit. Everyone else said good shit about their food. I tried one of GF's falafel from her platter and it was really good. My only complaint is for $24 or whatever it is, i would expect more than a few falafel balls and one side. Kinda a rip off. But everything tasted really, really good.
