So many unique options, we also enjoyed the craft fair that had in the courtyard! It just added to the inviting experience! There was certainly enough food options to meet my very picky families needs.

Brought in a stuffed Blue M&M to them and asked if it could be cleaned without damaging it. The kid at the counter told me they would check into it but wouldn't do anything if it was possible to damage it. So I left it with them. About 2 weeks went by before I even heard from them and at that point I was told it split open. The manage did offer to buy me a replacement but turns out the replacement it bought was the Green M&M. He told me that my item was at a different location and he would let me know when it was back at this location with the replacement. It took another 3 weeks before I was able to see it. He then wanted to charge me $44 for damaging my item. Like I was told from the beginning, he shouldn't have even tried if he wasn't sure. I was told they would let me know if it was possible.

I wouldn't trust these clowns to tie my shoes, let alone alter my clothing. Here's what happened. I called and asked if they could replace the two zippers on an ultra lightweight backpacking tent. The lady who answered said they probably could, but suggested I come by so that the seamstress could check it out. I visit them, and she says they can do it. She says it would take about a week, but I needed it for the weekend, so I decided to take it camping and bring it back at a later point. I brought it back, and this time a man was there, and he said it would take 2 weeks. I was like fine, no problem, but when I came back, it wasn't ready and he told me they'd sent it away to be repaired and weren't sure what the status was. I was a little surprised, but agreed to come back in a week like he suggested. When I did, only one of two zippers were replaced, and instead of an ultra lightweight zipper, it's a big ol' heavy honker of a zipper. I'm annoyed, and they agree to send it back to get the other zipper replaced. Same deal happened again with the timeline, you know? Delayed, no communication, blah blah blah. These guys do not operate with any sort of urgency and they are awful communicators. I constantly had to follow up. By the time they let me know it was done, it took me a sec to get back over there and when I picked it up, it had.. two different zippers, both heavyweight. There's a new hole in the mesh that we now must repair ourselves, and the tent door buckles dramatically because the zipper is too heavy for the material. I suspect eventually it will tear because of this. I've attached photos of this. I also want to note for the record that I was completely respectful this entire time, up until I picked it up and noted I would never be back (I'm sure they're glad to see my back). The woman at the front desk seemed to understand why I felt this way. I will post the time stamped conversation if the owner tries to dispute my record of events.

I live around the corner and thought I would give this place a try (twice) but I don't think I'll be coming back. Took my suit in a week in advance of when I needed it and was told it could be done in just a few days which gave me a couple days to spare. The suit came back with no pants, those came back the following week. When picking up the suit the first time I dropped off 5 shirts, no rush, they took two weeks. They sent all my stuff out to some factory in Carson to be cleaned, so apparently they do nothing locally. I'll go back to a couple other large spots in Long Beach that take care of things in house. Also clothes didn't smell much different than when I dropped them off, I don't feel like much was done. Luckily dry cleaning is inexpensive. read more

I have brought a few coats in here and they seem to be returned in perfect condition. Most recently, i brought in an overskirt that was supposed to go over my wedding dress. I bought the overskirt from StillWhite knowing it was a tad too small but truly believing I would lose the weight to have it fit. Unfortunately, COVID happened, gyms closed, and my love for comfort food was my stress outlet i brought the overskirt in 2 weeks before I needed it and the seamstress (I am so sorry but her name is escaping me right now) took time to measure how much fabric needed to be added to the waist and the best method for doing it. In all honesty, what she created was 100 times better than I had even imagined. She made the additions look seamless and even added additional beading to match the original band. Her work was flawless AND it fit. I only wish I had originally brought in my wedding dress for alterations instead of going to the seamstress the bridal shop suggested. I will absolutely be returning for additional alterations and happily recommend her. read more

Very impressed. I mentally prepared myself to spend more than I wanted to for the convenience of a walking distance tailor, and finally took my beloved Jansport backpack with an epically jammed zipper to get unjammed, and two nice people got it unjammed in a couple minutes and refused any money from me, even just 3 bucks trying to tip the helper. Everything I want from a local small business, friendly, fair, and left me feeling special and proud of my community. Won't hesitate to return! read more

This was my first time getting alterations at Beach Villa. I was a little stressed to do inessential errands right now with the Coronavirus growing but when I picked up my clothing, I was beyond impressed with the cleanliness and caution the staff took to creating a safe environment. They are double the price of my old cleaners S.Cleaners on 7th. I pay double because I don't like my clothes smelling like soapy chemicals. Quality costs money and I think I just found my cleaners for life read more

They did an excellent job on two blazers. Fast and decently priced. I dropped them off on a Friday and got them back on Tuesday. If you're committed to environmentalism, they seem to do be doing a better job than most; no nasty chemical smells and minimal use of packaging. read more

I have used their service for dry cleaning mostly, I have been quite satisfied. They have also called me when they noticed damaged items that I brought and quoted me a reasonable price for alteration and I agreed to that. It was really convenient to have them remind me about little zipper tears etc. and repair items I had neglected. read more

I love this place! I took my full lace wedding dress to be hemmed and they did a fabulous job! My dress had a scalloped lace design and I wasn't sure if they'd be able to hem it without it looking like it was hemmed, but the seamstress made me feel very comfortable. I felt no hesitation leaving my dress in her hands. It was finished in about 2 weeks and it came out flawlessly, I couldn't even tell where she had made cuts. Absolutely lovely! I highly recommend them! read more

Small business owners with green focus and community involvement was inspired to build the very first The Hanger Dry Cleaning and & Alterations because for several years I visited many Dry cleaners and my experience was that most of them were run down, and simply not a pleasant place to come to. I was given an opportunity to run my first store in the Community of Long Beach. With the support from Loyal customers, and hard work we started renovations. I knew I wanted to bring something new and improved to the area so we did. We have recently been fortunate to be given an opportunity With the continual support from the local community. We continue to bring the services people deserve. Myself and my team are Thankful to all the customers who have supported us and continue to support us. Once again Thank you!

I haven't been here before but I'm considering switching my dry cleaners. Let me tell you who I would NOT ever recommend: Continental Cleaners on Los Coyotes Diagonal and Willow Street in Long Beach is very good, except for one employee. Her name is Quetta Guzman, a short, fat, Hispanic cashier in her 40s. Her attitude is so bad and she is too stubborn to apologize; she thinks she owns the place, and the worst part is that the owner is not willing to do anything about her crappy attitude and behavior. Do not visit Continental Cleaners and I strongly recommend against this cleaners only because of her! She has the nerve to say that she will be rude to customers back, who are rude to her and that she will still be working there whether customers come back or not! read more

Love the new hours and delighted they now accept Credit Cards. It was always a hassle going to the ATM before picking up my clothes here, then to find the place closed, so I often just took my cleaning to a regular PERC dry cleaners up near my house. The staff are knowledgeable about the benefits of avoiding hydrocarbon-based cleaning chemicals and they did an outstanding job on my duvet cover. Despite the fact that they are not exactly local to me, they will be my regular dry cleaners from here on. read more

I was walking through my neighborhood on my way to Kafe Neo when I found Beach Villa Cleaners next to the restaurant. Have been wanting to get my vintage 60's jackets altered, and voila!
