A must-stop coffee shop on the way to or from hiking the Na Pali Coast (or surfing out that way). Or just for fun! And as you can see from my photos, they open early! Our friend stopped for a matcha on the way to hike Na Pali, and on the way back we stopped for some energizing and smooth iced lattes, plus a tea latte with lavender syrup. We loved the coffee, so bought a bag of beans to enjoy at home (Hanalei Coffee Roasters). Also love their sweet logo of a coffee cup with running legs! The interior of the shop is small and sweet. There are lots of orchids and plants, and maybe 2 interior counter stools. Outside you'll find a patio with more seating, a rad display of surf boards, and a kids area. While waiting for our drinks we met the owner's Dad and dog. Loved the local vibe and will definitely return on our next visit. read more

Stumbled upon Haven when leaving tunnels beach. Limited parking however a hidden gem. Very clean interior with surf board decor outside with bench. The matcha was standard, nothing special. Fell in love with the cat though!!! A month later, still thinking about our sweet the cat was. read more

I have been following and waiting for my trip here for a long time. It did not disappoint. It's small, cozy and felt very comfortable. Like it's always been your normal stop. They have a great menu, a secret menu even, and an assortment of pastries. On the day we went, they even had fresh orchids available as well. I ordered my standard iced vanilla latte for 'control' as I do when I visit a new place. It's the best on the island. Absolutely worth the wait. It tasted like coffee shops used to be... good. Cutest little coffee shop in Princeville that was the perfect pick me up after a day at Tunnel's Beach. The iced honey matcha latte was solid, and the chai was okay but SPICY. Great atmosphere and staff! There is an awesome market next door for snacks and they have a large outdoor patio for seating. read more

I saw good reviews on this place and wanted to try it. It opens at 6:30 we headed over around seven and had a long drive. We get there and there was no one there besides one girl working the small coffee stand. she told us they were closing due to being under staffed which is totally understandable however I wish they had answered the phone and told us before the long drive. The next day it says open on Google Maps. we called twice no answer then we go and the same situation happened. don't go unless you have a back up plan. read more

We paid $35 for two matchas and a cinnamon roll, and our matchas were grainy and not even full to the top. The cinnamon roll was good but they resell someone else's and charge $14 for it. Disappointed because we were excited to try it. read more

So happy this place has opened. Such a cute little spot, great vibes, sweet staff. I got the Mac nut latte and hubby got the maple latte. Delicious and in my opinion the best coffee overall on that side of Kauai. Was disappointed in our usual Java Kai with weak coffee. We visited Haven almost every morning and sometimes twice a day during an our trip. read more

Easily one of the best coffees I had on the island. Randomly stopped by here on the way back from Limahuli Garden. The Iced Mac Nut Latte with Oat Milk and Iced Coconut Latte were excellent. Service was great too. This is up there with Wishing Well and Aloha Roastery. read more

This place is AMAZING. First of all the cutest place ever with a lot of outdoor seating and even card games to play. The coffee is incredible. I got a large iced brown sugar latte with almond milk and I'm pretty sure I gasped after my first sip (Keep in mind I'm a barista myself). It's the cutest little shop with the sweetest employees. I cannot recommend this place enough. I came here almost every day of my vacation. read more

We stopped by on our first morning for coffee and muffins--and loved it so much, we came back every day of our vacation! The staff is super-friendly, making every visit feel special. I got the mango smoothy and lilis favorite that is matcha, lavender, and coconut and it was very good!
