I can't begin to explain what a great spot this is!…read more It is dog friendly, it is wide open and beautiful, it has lots of live music, it is run by a family that is so very nice, and it is super affordable and tastes great! You can get a flight of wines for $5 or a glass of wine or a pint of beer for $5 each. You can even do a tour and tasting for $10. Plus, all the bottles are pretty much under $25. And they have quite a large variety of whites, reds, and roses too. Cindy, one of the owners, is so very friendly and helpful. She will go through an entire tasting with you with the highest level of patience, allowing you to taste and try anything you'd like to. Her brother-in-law also Is a gem, he himself Popsicles to all of the kids running around and let them ride on the tractor or explore into the garden. Would highly recommend if you are in the area!

Arthur was the live music for the day and he played a great variety of songs (acoustic guitar). The wine is fantastic. I do not know a lot about wine, but I do know that each one we tasted (6) was very easy to drink. We shared a bottle there and I brought 2 home. Bonus: you can bring your own snacks (no beverages). I love this. I enjoy planning my own winery snacks. I was bummed when many wineries quit allowing food because they opened kitchens. So if I have to pay $30+ for food. I'm buying less wine. Anywaaaay, make a little weekend out of visiting this area and have a lovely time at Edg Clif. (Photos do not do it justice)

I wish I could give them 6 stars…read more Everything, and I mean everything, was completely dialed-in. From the reservation, to the hostess greeting us and helping us even though we arrived an hour early, to the desserts. The server was knowledgeable and helpful in choosing our food and drinks. It's a small menu, but clearly that allows and incredible focus on the quality and the details. I cannot imagine being unhappy with anything listed. This, for us is a special occasion place, simply because of the prices, but WORTH IT.

It was decently busy for a Wednesday night but there was plenty of bar seating. The decor is beautiful and I especially appreciated their carefully curated glass and tableware--all stunning. Our bartender, whose name I fail to remember, was excellent. She had great beer recommendations. We tried the Hefe Weissbier (my favorite, which paired perfectly with both appetizers), the Meteor Pils, and the Gaffel Kolsch. I'd recommend all of them if you're a beer drinker! The spinach dumplings are a must. They are bursting with spinach flavor and swimming in a rich brown butter sauce. We also tried the alpine dip, which comes with an enormous soft pretzel. It was okay, but the dip wasn't exactly what we were expecting. I'd probably pass on the alpine dip next time. Overall an amazing experience and I look forward to enjoying a full meal there next visit. Be advised that they pride themselves on seasonal menus so if you're eyeing a menu item, get yourself there to try it before it's gone!

She did a good job though. Came here for our anniversary, and when making the reservation they ask if it's a special occasion, so we told. They never said anything or did anything special, no big deal but why ask. The first course was delicious bread and butter. And something else I'm forgetting. The one slice of bread they give should have been a warning sign. Between the two of us we ordered everything on the menu. Minus the wine/cockrails, we don't drink. I order a phenomenal lemonade though. I said "holy shit" when I took my first sip. The food was very good but the portions were so small I didn't feel like I could really establish if I liked something or not. It was unique food which is fun but i couldn't tell you if i found something new because there wasn't enough to appreciate it. It was beautifully presented and much of it was really delicious. The desserts especially. By the end of the meal we were both still hungry. It's kind of a rule for me if you're going to go out to a fancy place and spend the money you Really should not leave hungry. I would give this place 1 star for that alone but it's in a small town and I just can't. The peanut butter cookies they talk up at the end honestly felt like kind of a joke they were so small. It was literally someone's thumbprint size. You get one. We both looked at each other and laughed. We had fun but be prepared to go home and make a second dinner. Or there's always Taco Bell.

It was satisfying, full of protein, and the teriyaki sauce was the perfect balance of sweet and a little sour. My second favorite was the one with a coffee bean on top. My third fav was the chocolate drizzle one, but an almost tie was the caramel drizzle one. They are all fantastic. I chose the fried walleye sandwich with fries. The bun was so soft, the fish was fried so fresh and the coleslaw was yummy! I would have loved a big bowl of that coleslaw! The fries were incredible. If I had to guess, I'd say they fry the fries twice. They are to die for and I'm not even a big French fry fan! My hubby had the chicken & waffles. I got to try it and I loved it! That honey(?) butter, or whatever kind of butter it was, was drool worthy magic. The chicken was crispy and tasty. The malted vanilla waffle was one of the best I've ever had. Put it all together and it's the bar by which I will judge all future chicken & waffles. Now for the desserts. I got some to go because there is no way I was skipping those options. I got a piece of wedding cake and a piece of gooey butter cake. The wedding cake was ok. I don't need a second piece. But the gooey butter cake was one of the best cakes I've ever eaten. I want to drive back to Sarah's JUST FOR THE GOOEY BUTTER CAKE! (And I'd have to have the chicken & waffles too, if I'm there, because why not). The service was amazing. All the ladies who helped us and served us were great. They worked as an efficient team. It made for a really nice atmosphere. If I'm EVER near here again, you bet I'll be back in. And I'll bring a cooler and I'll get food to eat there and take with me for later!
