The receptionist was rude and condescending. I had Cencal as secondary insurance and she said I had a $20 copay. I showed her the Cencal card and said this should cover the copay. She went back into another room then came out and and said We are going to wave the copay and I said thank you. She said well, we didn't have choice did we. Not sure about the quality of the product they sell, but they seem to be very overpriced. . I had a lot of problems with the hearing aids initially. They malfunctioned, but the staff kept blaming me! Not cool. Staff is not friendly or accommodating, if not downright rude. read more

Dr Regan and his staff are fabulous. I took my grandmother in who has severe hearing loss and dementia and they took such good care of her. She can be pretty difficult and Dr Regan was so patient with her I couldn't believe it. They were great not only during the initial exam but also when we went back for her hearing aids, taking the time to show her, myself and my uncle how to use and care for them. I would recommend to anyone with hearing trouble to go here for help. read more

RUDE RUDE RUDE STAFF!!! DO NOT TAKE KIDS HERE THEY ARE NOT KID FRIENDLY, THEY NEED TO STICK TO ELDERLY PEOPLE! My 5 year old son, Ashton, is entering Kindergarten this year. At kinder round up in June they referred me to get his hearing reviewed more thoroughly. When I called to make an appointment with Dr. Regans office the next available was not for two months, until August. The appointment was at 11:00 AM. I work full time, and luckily my mother had the day off so she offered to bring Ashton at 11, so I could meet there and just go on my lunch without having to take off any work. She arrived about 10:55 and started to fill out the paperwork. I arrived at about 11:05 and finished the paperwork which I gave to the receptionist. While waiting, the lobby is not kid friendly at all. Of course a curious 5 year old boy wants to touch everything. A plate full of cookies is very tempting. I told him he could have one. Then the receptionist pipes up and says, "No we don't let the children have cookies before the appointments. If you are good you can have one after." Ok No big deal I thought. We remain sitting in the office, Ashton trying his best to be good. The receptionist asks for my $15 co-pay. This I was not prepared for, I did not have it. I had thought, because the school had referred me that it would be free. I asked if they could bill me. She said she would ask the office manager. She left for a bit, then came back, and said they could not do that. I attempted to call my husband who had money, but he did not pick up his phone. I offered to write a check. At this point the office manager Carmen Enciso came out, by now the time is about 11:15. I explained to her I have been waiting for two months for this appointment that my sons school wanted him to go to. I work, and I am on my lunch break to take him to this appointment. I called my mom, who had run to the store across the way. My mom said she would come back and cover the $15 fee when she finished her shopping. That was not good enough for this office. No, they wanted that $15 up front, no exceptions, no understanding. Behind me is a sculpture with water running over it. Something very interesting, that a 5 year old wants to touch. I had already told Ashton not to touch it once that morning. While I am talking to Ms. Enciso, he must have touched it behind my back, because she stops and tells my son, "Do not touch that! You can break it!" Then she asks me, "Is that pink eye?" Yes, 5 days earlier my son had pink eye. He went to the doctor and has been on antibiotic eye drops all week; however it still has a slight pinkish tint. The pediatrician told me it was only contagious for the first 24 hours after antibiotics were started. I explained this to Ms. Enciso. She said, "Do you have the prescription with you?" I thought, that is weird, why would she ask that? "No, it is at home on top of the fireplace." I unnecessarily informed her. Then she called in another patient and went back with them. I asked the receptionist if they were skipping my son. The receptionist said, in a very rude manner, "Well, you did arrive late." HA! I said, "No, My mom arrived with my son on time for the appointment." The receptionist replied, "Yes but she could not complete all of the paperwork, and you arrived after 11 to complete the paperwork, you were not here on time. So, it is not your moms fault." Then she directs her attention to my son and says to him, "And it is not your fault either." WHAT THE HECK!! I am so angry at this point. I am thinking these people are just rude. All of this for $15! Then the receptionist says, "We are probably going to have to reschedule you because it is now almost 11:30." I said, "No, I cannot be rescheduled, he needs to be seen today, I cannot take off work and I cannot wait another two months for an appointment. Please, my mom is going to be here, can't you guys just check his hearing? She will probably be here before he is even done?" Then Ms. Enciso comes out again, she says, "No, we will need to reschedule you. It is too late to see you now." I am fuming, however I simply state, "No, I do not want to reschedule, I think I will find a better place to take him." This office is not kid friendly at all. They should not offer to do hearing tests for kids if they cannot tolerate them. They need to stick to elderly people. They could have rescheduled me no problem and I would have been completely understanding if they would have communicated with me in a non demeaning fashion. As medical professionals they were not understanding or compassionate. I will never go here again, and I would never recommend this office. read more

The office staff are nice and the facility is clean, but they do not follow HIPAA privacy acts under federal law. My daughter's private medical record was released to a third party, non medical entity, without my consent. read more

I have nothing but positive things to say about this office. I was diagnosed in 1978 with a serious progressive hearing disorder. At the age of 28 I began wearing my first hearing aids. Between 1978 and 1999 I had multiple audiologists. In August of 1999 I became a client of Dr. Don Regan's Hearing Clinics. I was and have continued to be impressed by the level of competence, efficiency, professionalism, friendliness and compassion demonstrated by everyone in this clinic. This includes Michelle their receptionist and Carmen the hearing technician who is always there for you. Most especially Dr. Regan, who consistently demonstrates a knowledge level that easily exceeds any other audiologist I have ever experienced. I learned early on that if I was suddenly having a hearing issue I could call The Hearing Clinic and they would make time to see me and get the problem resolved. It was understood that without my hearing aids I was basically deaf. I was never put off or given a later appointment. I was also impressed by the consistent follow up by the staff. In the 19 years I have been a client of "The Hearing Clinics" I have recommended Dr. Don Regan and the Hearing Clinic to many of my friends with positive results and will continue to do so. read more

I had a hearing evaluation last week and I LOVED Dr. Regan and his staff! They were all personable, very funny and professional. Dr. Regan explained everything to me and I never felt rushed. I don't understand all the bad reviews as I was impressed with him and his office. But, I didn't need to buy a hearing aid either. read more

So far, so good! Only received my hearing aids a few weeks ago & Carmine & Michelle have called twice to check up on me & answer any questions. Dr Regan was fine the office visit when we met & he tested my hearing. Has an off beat sense of humor, which I didn't mind. The tests came out as "others" did & my insurance covered it. Carmine does the work & follow up with me. I enjoy hearing again! P.S. I'm NOT "old". Thanks for the hearing aids. read more

One star is too much. The only nice person was the receptionist. The doctor was unprofessional, and out of line. Went there for my child's hearing test. I never want to see this man or his "assistant" again. My wife and I were furious after leaving this place. He had the nerve to start giving parental advice, after his assistant told us not to talk to our child. Do not take your kids there. read more

One star is WAY too much for this staff! A staff woman who didn't have any identification on her (maybe because she just came back from lunch?) wanted immediately to PHOTOCOPY my husbands drivers license!!! My husband showed it to the woman behind her "desk" and she STILL demanded to copy his license... She said that if he didn't want her to copy his license, she would have to have another form of ID for their records.. My husband held close to his privacy and asked for their copy of THEIR procedure records for this invasion... No go.. She was rude and said, " Goodbye"...which my husband said, "we are done with this" .... Never mind that he took half the day off work to go here..never mind that their office NEVER TOLD HIM that their office is literally closed from 1-2pm.. (His appt. was at 2 pm and this office called the day before to remind him of his appt. and to come early to fill out paper work)...Don't come early to fill out paperwork because NOBODY is there, they're not open, LITERALLY ALL "STAFF" OUT TO LUNCH! RUDE AND OBNOXIOUS "STAFF"! Oh and btw, NO DOCTOR REGAN IN SITE... WHOS DOING THIS TEST.. NOT THE DOCTOR PEOPLE... STAFF THAT ARE NOT CERTIFIED...THOUGHT WE WERE PAYING DOCTOR Regan, NOT STAFF....
