I called for a same day service and The Help was able to accommodate me. I was only able to book them for 2 hours because of my budget, and all I can say it was the best decision I made this week. I was really trying to avoid calling a cleaning service but I gave up. They sent me a team of two cleaners, and they brought all of their supplies and got straight to work. For the time limit they had they did a great job! The office did disclose that the team might not finish everything, but I understood. The floors were spotless ! What stood out to me about this business from the moment I called was how nice and pleasant the ladies on the phone were. Kandiie was very helpful at scheduling (and rescheduling) my cleaning, which was a Move In for a new home. Leticia and Michael were A+++ cleaners. They ran late, which was frustrating given I carved out time for the block I was given by The Help Company to meet them. But once they arrived they did exceptional work and went above and beyond. The only negative I would give the company is they do not answer their office phones (ever), which makes it challenging to interact with them unless they reach out first via text. They were prompt and responsive. But the cleaning itself was terrible. They not only missed entire areas, the parts they did get were sloppy. Lots of dust on the baseboards, blinds left uncleaned, appliances and cabinets left untouched. So why the 4 stars? Because sh!t happens with independent contractors, but the people running the business conducted themselves impeccably. To me, follow through is important. I called Julio and Kandie to complain and they remedied the situation. My place was cleaned to my satisfaction, and all the while, Julio conducted himself professionally and pleasantly (i was a bit grumpy about the situation). Couldn't be happier with them, since my last cleaning I have signed up for an every two week cleaning. Each and every single time they come I get so excited to come home. I work a lot so cleaning has really been tough on me. I try but school and work takes up my whole day. When my cleaners come to my home and clean it, it's like a total different energy. The Help is one of my favorite businesses. The way they operate, the way they treat their customers, and the way they appreciate their clients is the best. Iracema and Maritza were so sweet and left my place spotless. Even the bathroom, had so many stains, was left looking brand new. I found Help Cleaning Services Here on yelp. Other places had much worse reviews than the one or two so I gave them a shot. Two Hispanic cleaners came to my small dirty apartment here in Hollywood. Man I am impressed. It took a full two hours for the kitchen and bathroom but its now way more clean than I could ever get it in two hours. Something had spilled on a storage rack in my kitchen also they made it look new.. im not even sure it would come out if I did it. I highly recommend them extremely good if moving out of an apartment but plan for more than two hours. All cleaning supplies were included and I was 60 per hour for two people which is reasonable. I've had the cleaning crew through The Help come through twice to my apartment. And did a very thorough job particularly with the floors (wooden and carpeted) and the bathrooms. The first time I scheduled a deep clean and it took the 2 cleaners under 3 hours to do our 2 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom, 2 story apartment that's slightly bigger than 1k sq ft. The second time I ordered them for a deep clean (which was 3-4 months after the first time) they were able to finish in about 2 hours. Same cleaners both times and they were always very polite. The only (slightly) negative comment I have is that I would schedule for a certain time for the cleaners to arrive and I'd get a call 1-2 hours earlier than he scheduled time from the cleaners who had arrived early. This happened both times and both times I rushed out of work to get home. I guess better early than late. read more

I needed a one-time deep cleaning of my 1BR apartment in LA to start the new year, and The Help Cleaning Service provided a prompt quote through Yelp and answered all my questions. We arranged for two cleaners to come on a Saturday, estimated at about three hours. The biggest issue was having to provide parking in Koreatown, but once husband-and-wife team Jose and Josefina arrived, they got started immediately. They brought their own cleaning supplies and vacuum, and wiped everything clean as requested. They even cleaned the floors behind the kitchen stove! I used The Help Cleaning Services to clean an apartment I own after a tenant moved out. The place was a disaster after the prior tenant (a single and very busy person). I was unsure if I would be able to rent the place without replacing parts of the kitchen and bathroom (which clearly had not seen a cleaning product at any point during the Pandemic). Enter Estela and Roxanne with The Help Cleaning Services. Up front it was very easy to request services through the service's online platform, and very clear how much would it would cost. The manager was very responsive when I had questions, and very flexible when I had changes. Estela and Roxanne arrived on time and got straight to work after I did a brief walkthrough. They were polite and professional. I gave very little direction, and they knew exactly what to do. I didn't think anyone would be able to restore the place to any reasonable semblance of cleanliness, but they did! Diana and Lupe consistently arrive on time & ready to make my life easier. They go the extra mile with my hardwood floors. We have 2 cats and they do an excellent job of catching all the fur. They check with me each time they arrive to see if I need something special. The house looks great when they leave and I am ever so grateful for The Help! Here is an update: Since this review, the team has arrived late and left early. I understand when things are childcare related and so adjusted the cleaning and absorbed some of it myself. That said, the following week my own child had a emergency health care issue for which I was not able to provide advanced notice of a cancelation to The Help. The Help told me that they would charge me a $35 cancelation fee for this emergency (now on my end, not theirs). This simply seems like taking advantage of an already bad situation for my family. Today I called for a cleaning service to be scheduled on Saturday. Candie told me that the fee is more on Saturdays. Since I have previously had the team here on Saturday's with no additional charge, I questioned Candie as to when the change took place, and she said it has always been the way and that the team failed to tell me when they were here. I find this hard to believe, since the team calls The Help to verify the amount of payment each and every time they finish cleaning, before I pay them. Bottom Line: something is amiss with the way they are running their business and I now have a lack of trust in The Help. The cleaning team has done a good job, but the actual Referral Service, The Help, seems a bit shady to me at this point and certainly lacks honesty at best. They couldn't finish in 4hrs so customer service sent me another team for touch up for 30min for free, But touch up team was curious about why previous team couldn't finish in 4hrs because it's medium size condo. There was a misunderstanding about the appointment (it was the first I had booked with them), but the owner called when I texted saying the cleaners were late. She told me that the appointment had not been confirmed because I had not entered my credit card in their system and she could send them another day. My house needs a post-construction deep cleaning from top to bottom so I call "The Help". Candy was very polite and helpful over the phone and that is one of the most important reason I went with them. On the day of service, the clean crew showed up on time and started right away which was great. I had stressed to the crew that I want them to take their time, being very detailed and I don't mind paying them for the entire day or even the next day if they need more time as the house is very dusty from the construction. The crew worked fast and was done in 5 hours. They called me and caught me off guard while I was out and thinking they wouldn't be done for another 2-3 hours at least. They were polite and offered to close the door for me on their way out. Unfortunately, when I get home, they missed some spots uncleaned and some windows unwiped. They did a great job on all other things but I would rather them take more time and being more detailed which I am happy to pay for the extra time. Two days after the service, Candy called me and asked me for feedback. Again, she is very professional and polite. I told her the story and she offered me another crew and small goodwill gesture discount for the next cleaning which I appreciate. Much, much better. Following my seething review (I admit, I was pretty upset), Kandiie, the owner, called me personally to follow up with my service. I described to her how frustrated I was, and told her that I really, really wanted to give them a good review but just couldn't bring myself to do so because of the poor quality. She apologized profusely and offered a re-do service, and she personally picked the team that would service my home this time. My appointment was for today with a 9:00-9:30am time window. The team, Yudi and Bertha, showed up at 8:50am and rang my doorbell, but I was still sleeping...oops. Good thing my boyfriend was here to open the door and let them in. No problem--they came in, and serviced my living room and kitchen before getting to the bathroom and bedroom to allow me to get ready. Okay, +1 in my book. Awesome. About 20 minutes later when I finally got out of bed and got rid of my bed hair and bad breath (ugh hahaha), I went out to greet them and apologize for sleeping. Yudi, who speaks fluent English, asked me exactly what I needed done--amazing! The last crews never did this. I took her into every room and told her exactly what I wanted done. She said not a problem; she'd take care of everything. I left the house to grab some breakfast and bring them back some coffee. I come back an hour later. The first thing I walk into is a breath of fresh air...I mean, seriously. The living room and bedroom smelled HEAVENLY. In my living room, my beautiful Steinway piano was polished off, mahogany shining (they even used Pledge! Yes!!) Christmas tree shavings off the floor. Dust, gone. Everything arranged perfectly. Dust off the windows and the blinds. Perfect. Kitchen: Everything shining. Saw bits of dust still remnant on the blinds (gah I hate dust), so they got to it right away and doubled over on the blinds. Wiped down the refrigerator. Cleaned (and put back) all of my dishes!!! Floors (tiles) cleanly mopped. Bathroom: AHH the bathroom was sparkling. The shower stall, bathtub, and sink were polished off. My toilet was clean. No more dust on the floors. Windows wiped down and perfect. Bedroom: Possibly the best part of the entire cleaning. My bed was ACTUALLY perfectly made this time. They put everything in the right order (including the pillows!!) and dusted down my desk, drawers, and tables. All of my jackets were hung up. My rug was vacuumed thoroughly. Windows and blinds wiped down. They even found time to clean the front porch of my house, and vacuumed the rugs inside the front of my door, and they swept off any dust and dead leaves off the front door welcome mat. I would HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend Yudi and Bertha. They service usually in the mornings. I will definitely be calling back for a monthly service, and I recommend you do the same. My husband has since spoken with Candi, and they've offered a very reasonable solution. I want to reiterate that the ladies who came to clean my home were punctual, friendly, and professional - very nice girls. 80% of the house was done very well, and I did tell them when they left that everything looked great. BUT, I had no way of knowing at that time that the dirty dishes had been put away with my clean dishes. Lesson learned for me is to check more thoroughly next time no matter what. I have a baby and although I love to clean, it took me months to admit my hands were just too full with my little guy to keep the house as spotless as I like. I called The Help & booked a team of two, for my large condo. They were great! They tell you at booking to allow a 30 minute window for traffic. No problem; this is LA, & traffic is unpredictable. They arrived around the end of the window & apologized for being as late as they were; I didn't mind. They cleaned at a better-than decent pace, & they did a great job deep cleaning; individual blinds, base boards, etc. They didn't miss a thing and they even insisted on taking out a ton of recycling on their way out, despite me saying I would do it later because they were off the clock. Such sweet ladies & great workers! For over 1500 sq feet, it took them just over 5 hours for a deep clean. Weekend rate was $55/hr for TWO. This wasn't the cheapest I came across but their reviews were great & they offered green cleaning- I was sold. The only reason I knock off a star is because I was extremely clear that I only wanted green cleaning; no toxic chemicals. My home has never been cleaned with anything other than natural products and I'm particularly careful now that I have a baby. Well, a miscommunication occurred and the ladies were never told to use green products. They showed me their work order & there was no mention of my request for green cleaning. Half of my condo was cleaned with Fabuloso & other toxic krud before I spotted Lime-Away etc in their supplies & realized what was happening. I immediately switched them to use my own supplies but I was extremely upset since I had repeatedly clarified this when booking the appointment. The lady in charge, (Candi?) got back to me immediately when I reached out. She apologized profusely and took full responsibility saying she understood why I was upset; she had a baby too. She offered me a discount. I did appreciate that she was prompt at getting in touch & that she didn't make excuses; it was an error on their side and she acknowledged that. I'm grateful I noticed when I did, but my advice to anyone else that hires any cleaning service for green cleaning...check the products upon arrival & have your own available as a backup. There is nothing that I HATE more than does stubborn water stains/residue on my shower! I tried millions of things myself and nothing seemed to work. except for the "HELP" that was given to me by this awesome company! When I initially came on Yelp I had requested Julio & Josefina due to the outstanding reviews they have posted. When I made my appointment Candy, the lovely representative that helped me out, told me right off the bat that they were sending me Betty and Lidia. I was a little hesitant to try them out but with their five stars on Yelp I knew they had great teams. The day of the cleaning came, and I received a call from Candy notifying me that they were arriving closer to 8:30am due to traffic. I was so thankful that she took the time to reach out to me to let me know because this gave me a few minutes to get ready for the helpers. When they came by I was so impressed on how professional they were. They took the time to give me a walk through and to explain what cleaning products they were working with to make sure I was completely comfortable with everything. I chose to have them use whatever it was gonna take to defeat those stains in my tub and floors. The whole time they were cleaning I was home, not because I didn't trust them but because I work from home. This didnt stop them from doing what they know best. Lidia started in my bathroom and Betty in my kitchen. Then they moved on to finish the rest of my two bedroom two bathroom condo. The whole time that they were cleaning I was so impressed on how this team worked and carried themselves. Betty was using different cloths for different areas. For example is she was cleaning the counters she would clean my fridge with a different cloth. I also noticed that her partner was doing the same. This definitely stood out to me because I know they care about my home. Are you guys ready ??? Okay here it goes, when I went to see my bathrooms I almost cried not of sadness but of how happy I was to see my bathroom sparkly clean! Most importantly Lidia took care of all the tough water stains in my bathroom. They were able to organize my home, clean my kitchen from top to bottom, clean my baseboards, blinds, windows, cobwebs, and make everything sparkle! I have never experienced a cleaning this thorough in my entire life. Wait, more like I have never had a professional service clean my home before. I am so glad I called this place and got the chance to meet these wonderful helpers. Of course when you book an appointment you hesitate about the time they are going to take because you are in denial, but when you see them work then you realize how your home really needs a deep cleaning every now and then. I never thought I would say this but I think I will have to hire them on a monthly basis, and to be honest it kinda feels great to know that. My first cleaning cost me $200 for 4 hours with two people, and that is because of the pricing structure they have. They charge $55/hr for a team of two people and for all first time customers they give you $20 OFF!! I think those $200 have been the best $200 that have been well spent.
