I went the first week the restaurant officially opened and it was fantastic! The food was excellent and flavorful. We had the Wagyu Cheese burger and braised short rib as entrees. The burger came cooked perfectly as requested which was Medium Rare and the short rib was very tender and rich. As for sides, we ordered the street Corn and Queso Fresco which melted in your mouth and the Umami Brussels sprouts which were to die for! Then for dessert we had the double fudge cheesecake and the key lime tart brûlée which were absolutely divine! I recommend you order broth at the same time to get the sharp contrasts between the richness of the fudge cheesecake and the tartness of the key lime tart brûlée! All in all it was a fantastic meal and the service and ambiance was very inviting. Every one from the hostess to the GM were all great! We were taken care by Richard and met Joey. He brought out the spoons for our desserts and said we choose the best two desserts on the menu. Both of them were great and we even had the GM, Shay, come out to see how everything was! Decided to try this new place and welcomed the 'neighborhood' theme. I live a few paces away and eat out all the time. On a recent walk, I stopped for lunch. 5 staffers at the front, the place half full inside and all but one table outside was empty. I was told that I would have to wait 10 minutes for a table - despite all the empties and not a sole waiting. I mentioned the availability but was told I would have to wait! Perfectly exemplifies Brickell, all pomp and no substance. I got the wagyu burger and my girlfriend, the egg sandwich. The burger tasted like reheated cafeteria food, and the buns were almost undoubtedly cheap Publix brand. The egg sandwich was boring, and that's the nicest thing I could say. We also ordered a bread pudding, which tasted like sugar on top of sugar. If I was 7 years old, I'd probably love it. All in all, 150 for a couple drinks and cafeteria food. At least our server was nice, which is why I give this 2 stars (should be 1.5 honestly.) You'd be better off going to a diner and saving 100 bucks. Went to The Henry and we had the great time! We truly loved the Scottish salmon and the wagyu burger. Lucy was on point and she was always smiling and checking on us. The Turkey French dip with the truffle fries was sooooo gooood. The bread was so soft and the turkey was grilled to perfection. Hubby had the fifty dollar old fashion and hubby said it was the smoothest old fashion he had. To satisfy our sweet cravings, we had the key lime tart Brûlée with the wildflower and butcher coffee. Have been wanting to check this place out in Brickell City Center as the indoor/outdoor bar caught my eye. The space is gorgeous and provides a unique experience to enjoy both the shopping center and the restaurant. Was lucky and able to grab a seat at the bar for brunch right before it started to get busy. The bartender, Nico, was very attentive and made a delicious spicy mango habanero margarita for me while I decided what to order. Landed on the rancheros breakfast bowl which was pretty tasty overall but would probably order the cinnamon sugar French toast next time. The food was good but the highlight was definitely the service provided by the bartender. Nico was friendly, engaging, and made sure to check in even when the crowd picked up and he was busy. The Henry is a great addition to Brickell and the menu has quite a few interesting items on it; between the food and the great service it's definitely a place worth checking out in the area! read more

Leading up to the event Emilio was very patient and did not flinch when we changed the count, every week. ‍ Our table was perfect for our large group and everyone could communicate easily. The difference between good service and great service is what we got at The Henry. Rather than waiting to serve us, Emilio's team anticipated our needs. Our servers were like soldiers patiently waiting in the shadows, and when we had a request they appeared immediately. Throughout our meal different levels of staff from The Henry checked in with us to make sure everything was on point. The food was outstanding. We came in yesterday for brunch. Nico is great! He was so friendly and we loved his energy. We were excited to try some things on the menu and he guided us to some fantastic items. I live in Brickell and decided to check this place out on a weekday in the afternoon. We ordered the Pretzel & Provologne Cheese, which was okay. The Harverst Bowl was good. Toward the end of our meal, I was approached by a restaurant staff explaining that he had received complaints about my puppy barking. While I would be the first to worry about the barking, I was sitting outside the restaurant therefore in the middle of the mall. The streets are a few steps away and there is noise everywhere. The restaurant music by itself is loud enough to muffle the barking. Coming to my table to complain about the puppy was very poor judgement from the restaurant. Would they have asked parents to put a muzzle on their kids if they were having a tantrums? We paid the bill and left right away. Needless to say, this place will never see me again. This restaurant is PRETENTIOUS, acting like an upscale one when it is none of that! read more

It's so true how important a manager is when it comes to high end restaurants and keeping customers happy. How they handle less than perfect food, service and the staff's attitude is critical. The previous manager Tyler was the best manager we ever met. My wife and I had eaten a little earlier in the evening and we wanted our kids to enjoy a nice meal as well, so we decided to take them to "The Henry". We sat down, and my wife ordered a drink called The Polar express Martini. She loved it! We then ordered appetizers and after 20 mins, (Noticing all tables had water) I asked the waitress if it was customary to serve water to all patrons and her responses was "Do you want water!?". Rude!! Then we ordered a Filet Mignon steak (Medium) and Rigatoni a la vodka for my 2 daughters. They bring both meals and the steak is pink with a fleshy look in the middle. We obviously asked for the steak to be cooked as requested as my 10 years old doesn't eat raw meat. So now my one daughter is eating her meal while the other one gets to sit and watch. Ike the new manager comes over and we explain what happened. 15 minutes later the steak came back and now it's my 2nd daughter's turn to eat alone. Not to mention now all the other trimmings on the plate were torched as they were obviously cooked again. The dinner was totally ruined. Do you know what the new manager Ike asked ? If we wanted dessert on him? We didn't want dessert. Since when is desert the answer to a horrible meal? Then of course they charged $50 gratuity on top... No other gesture at all. If Tyler was there, he would have made sure we left happy at any cost. Seems like Ike may not actually be the manager, or he missed the mark miserably. My sister and I were walking around Brickell looking for a good breakfast spot when we saw The Henry, which we hadn't seen before. Turns out today is their grand opening. We walked up to the window to ask how it works and they informed us that we order at the window and they give us a number and bring us the food to the table. We ordered an Avocado toast and added an egg, an egg sandwich and a smoothie. The total was $69.12. We were both extremely shocked at the ridiculous price- way too high. There was a 20% gratuity included which was even more baffling considering there is no actual table service. It's as if I went to chipotle and there was a 20% grat included. By the way, they don't tell you it's included. The guy that took our order was very nice so I did want to leave him something, and that's when he told us that 20% is already included (after we already paid). The food was average. The avocado toast said it came with cheese but there was no cheese. There was too much avocado spread. The bread was very hard on the edges. The egg sandwich was really good, but I could've gotten something better for a 1/3 of the price anywhere else. The smoothie was good. The restaurant itself is very beautiful. The food here is okay, a little overpriced if you ask me. However something really strange happened. Both my mom and I shared the same food (Brussel sprouts and eggs) and we both had a very strange skin reaction after eating here. Our skin on the cheeks was very red and very hot. We both had it which is why we think it was the food since we ate the same thing. It felt like a severe sunburn but we didn't get any sun since it was raining all day. I'm from New York and a co-owner of a legendary restaurant in Southampton. I was looking for a restaurant that my friends and I could watch the sixth game of the Knicks and Indiana Pacers I chose The Henry, because of a television, not expecting much. But I knew when I made the reservation in person and met the manager, and he took the time to indulge me on what would be the perfect viewing table I knew this would be a good and fun experience. My intuition was correct!! Our server, Drew was amazing, very attentive, very professional very knowledgeable and even went beyond the limits ... when my friend wanted a Diet Coke and all they had to offer was Coke zero he went out of his way and provide Diet Coke. Impressive!! I had the salmon which was excellent One of my friends had the spicy tuna crispy rice that was excellent along with the pasta and salads and they even had one of my favorite wines, Duck Horn :) To end the dinner the dessert was amazing . Even though the Knicks lost my friends and I had a great time! The energy and vibe in the restaurant was great, even if there was no game to be had. While at the bar we were greeted by Jafar and Justine which were our Mixologists and they new the menu in and out and offered us numerous options of delicious food items as well as wonderful cocktails. Kudos to the Chef's and Mixologists. The Henry is by far the worst restaurant in Brickell that I have ever been to in my entire life. The food was disgusting and cold. My portion size was so small that it was like I ordered off the kid's menu. My meal was $70. However, I could have spent $15 at Dr. Smood, and I would have been more happy and fulfilled. Made reservations for 7:30pm on Sunday and upon entering and seating the restaurant was extremely loud. The waitress apologized and had to scream the specials and recommendations. After five minutes it just became unbearable and we just left. Ten minutes late a manager called me to apologize and offered a voucher. It was so loud that he could not hear me over the phone. What a great experience! Every item we ordered was delicious (Brussel sprouts, salmon crudo, lobster pasta, wagyu bolognese, molten butter cake). Good portion sizes, good price, and so delicious.
