We went to the Henry for dinner with a group. We were seating quickly and service was excellent throughout the meal. We started with drinks, mainly margaritas. The spicy margarita was particularly popular and good. For appetizers, we had the pretzels and the salmon crudo. The pretzels were a great appetizer, particularly with the cheese sauce. The salmon crudo had great flavor, even though the portion size was not very big. For the main course, I had the sea scallops. They were on the smaller side, but the flavor and seasoning were great and the overall presentation was excellent. the parsnip puree was an excellent complement. I am updating my review because the happy hour at The Henry is amazing. They have a selection of cocktails that are priced at $12. I opted for the dirty martini which was great. My friend got an espresso martini. We shared spicy tuna crispy rice and guac, each were also $12. The wines by the glass are $10 and beer is $7 Monday - Friday from 3 pm - 7 pm. I loved sitting at the bar and our bartender was super nice. Would definitely add this to my happy hour rotation as the variety of bites and sips make for a solid happy hour spot. read more

The Henry has an amazing location right underneath the Brickell City Center. I've gone twice, once for brunch and once for happy hour. I have not really been impressed with the food either times- it's not bad but I wouldn't recommend The Henry for out of town guests visiting Miami. The happy hour drinks are great, and the servers have always been kind, but a bit slow and forgetful at times. I've never ordered from their walkup coffee bar but it is such a cute touch! My friend says that their chocolate chip cookies are to die for, so I will be back to pick one up! read more

Just left after a work meeting. Started with the crab cake appetizer, it was okay. My employee had the burger (not sure how it was), and I ordered the squash salad with steak. Halfway through, I found a bug in my salad while flies hovered around the table. At that point, I stopped eating. We told the waiter, who offered a replacement salad to-go. I declined. Then the manager came by and offered a dessert or coffee to-go again, I declined. Why would I want more food to-go in a restaurant that openly admits it has a fly issue? The manager even said it's something they're "working on." What shocked me is the meal wasn't taken off the bill. Instead, they added a 20% auto-gratuity on top of everything. The ambiance is fine, but if you care about clean, bug-free food, this is not the place. read more

Terrific food and service at an outpost of a pub style chain in Miami's swankiest shopping mall. 5 star food: I had something called a harvest bowl salad that was pricey but could be the best salad I've ever had, in life. Grilled sweet potatoes cauliflowers quinoa and all sorts of other things including spicy hummus. Went there for breakfast today and I would give them a better rating as the food was great however there was a group of you me (in their 20s) who kept dropping the f bomb out loud. I could tell a couple with 2 young children felt uncomfortable. When I asked the young men to keep their voices down and watch their language the response I received was FU this is America. I pointed out to them that there were young children around them however they did not care. When raised to the waitress and the manager I felt like I was in the wrong. The dish portions here are nice, and so are the drinks. One thing about going out to restaurants is feeling like you got your "bang for your buck" and they do that here. Loved the Rigatoni Alla Vodka, wasn't too heavy after the Crispy Rice but filling in the best way, and that dessert was awesome. Low-key would slide through just for that - with a good drink I'd call that a night cap. They got a meatier pasta dish that I want to go back for too. This place really surprised me. I was expecting a basic dining experience, but I thought that the food was better than expected. I ordered the chicken and one of the salads, which were delicious. I was super excited to try out The Henry in my neighborhood and it did not disappoint. We couldn't get a reservation so decided to show up before noon on a Sunday and our party of 6 was seated in 30 min exact, as the hostess told us it would be. Environment is really nice, decor is modern and the atmosphere is very "friends and family". Food was surprisingly good. The smoked salmon bagel was very flavorful and also loved the truffle fries (despite being a little pricey). The only negative is that the staff was a little confused and slow - understandable since they just open, but I really hope they improve that asap. Overall, great place! I can't rave enough to people about The Henry. It is the perfect lunch spot for me in the Brickell/Downtown area. The menu has lots of options for varying tastes and the service has been top notch at every visit. I brought my mom here for a weekday birthday lunch and they even had a birthday card at the table when we arrived. The attention to detail with service is impressive here. The food is solid. I've had things I've enjoyed and items that were good, but not great. My favorite, must-order item is the crusty bread and pesto. It's so simple, but so delicious.
