To start off, I had been shopping at this store for the better part of 20yrs, since buying a house in the area. Until recently, it had been a more positive than negative experience as I have gotten to know many of the long-term employees and they are always helpful. Fast-forward to a recent experience in September that made me not want to go back to that store. I had gone there one evening to purchase a Champion walk behind blower that was on clearance. I had asked an employee if there was someone that could help me, and he said "I'll find someone" to help. After hearing a page on the overhead speakers TWO different times, no one had to come to unlock the item so I could purchase it. I walked up to the customer service counter, were an Assistant Manager named Dennis was standing at one of the terminals. I asked "is there anyone that can please help me? I have been waiting 20 minutes!" He seemed to be rather upset that I was taking him away from whatever he was doing to unlock the item I needed to purchase. As we were walking to the item, I said "you guys need to do something about the theft in this store as it is nearly impossible to shop here anymore". His rather sarcastic reply was "why don't you do something about it?" needless to say I was taken him back by this comment and was becoming beyond frustrated. When I told him that I have been waiting 20 minutes and I was not happy, he asked if I had a flat bed cart? I said "no could you help me find one?" to which he said "you can go find one". Again, I was rather taken back by this snarky attitude of his and I told him he was acting like an a$$hole, to which he replied, "I could say the same". Retail operations have no place for a person with that kind of attitude, especially as a Manager and when customers are waiting 20 minutes to get something while he just standing at the desk that evening. I vowed to be done shopping at this location and I have since gone to other nearby stores, as well as, telling friendes about my experiance. It is sad how one person can make or break your shopping experience, but in my opinion, Dennis, who is an Assitant Manager nonetheless, is the worst experience I've ever had at this store. He should be fired in my opinion as I don't want to see anyone else deal with his attitude and there are other stores near by. If I could, I would give the majority of other employees here five stars, if I had to give this Manager a rating it would be -5 stars. read more

I came tonight against my better judgment because this has happened before to get wheat straw. They have it locked up so you have to wait for someone to unlock it after you pay for it. Well, it's been 10 mins since I paid and I have not seen a soul. Still waiting, I am about to go in and get my money back and drive just a short distance up the road and go to lowes. Went in for a water filter for my fridge today. Two men were working in the appliances having a very serious conversation about another employee. I felt like I was intruding in on their discussion by asking for assistance. After pecking at the keyboard for what seemed like an eternity, I was told, "Sorry buddy, I can't help you". Online Review: I am extremely disappointed with my Home Depot experience. I have purchased several things from you in the past, but my most recent purchase will be my last. I ordered a dishwasher online and when the installer arrived, he glanced under my sink and said I do not have the proper hook up and need to call a plumber. I paid a plumber $90 to come out and install the proper lines. He said I have everything I need and the installer was just too lazy to verify. I reordered another dishwasher. The installer hooked it up. There was an error light on that he could not figure out how to turn off. He eventually told me that it was for the sensor and it would go off soon, then he left. This was on a Saturday afternoon. Saturday night the light was still on, so I called Home Depot about it. I was told they would have someone out on Monday to fix it. I called on Monday and was told there was no record of my call and the soonest they could send someone out is Friday. That is not acceptable to me. So, after being on the phone for 4+ hours on Monday, an installer will be here on Friday to see if he can fix it. I was told they if he cannot fix it, I will have to start all over again by ordering a new dishwasher and waiting to get on the calendar to have someone come out to my house to install a dishwasher for the THIRD time!!! My mother was on a electric cart and as a courtesy she wanted to take the cart back but when she drove it out of the garden center it stated to die so she went back in through the garden center because she knew going through the path set up she wouldn't make it so she wanted to atleast get in store and not leave it in parking lot.The cashier said she couldn't come through that way in a mean tone.She can barely walk.I was going to pick her up in front.The cashier didn't need to strut her authority she could of made a exception.My mother was not trying to disobey the rules.We will not be returning to home depo.They have no respect for customers with disablities read more

Although the quality of customer service (in general) st Home Depot is significantly worse than Lowe's, this review is specific to our experience in the kitchen design department at this location. After waiting 2 1/2 months for new cupboards. they arrived but incomplete. The process took forever, mostly due to absolutely awful communication/customer service. The staff in this department have a habit of putting each other down (behind their backs) which is an awful reflection on their integrity and person in general. So so so bad. This store's PRO service dropped the wrong nails for a hardie siding installation that would have voided the warranty. When I took them back and tried to get the right ones they didn't know which ones I should use for a product they sold. I was told that "Home Depot doesn't help customers that way anymore. I had made two trips to the store and bought 30 bags of Scott's mulch each time for the discount offer. I returned the next day because I needed 20 more bags to finish my project. I asked at the garden center if I could still get the 10 percent discount for the additional 20 bags and they tried to help but could not make it work without manager approval. I then went inside to the service/return/order pick up area and after a 12 minute wait to be helped, they had to ask a manager. The manager said, very curtly, that I held to purchase 30 bags to get the discount and she would not even listen when I tried to explain that I had already purchased 60 bags, so I told her that I would go to Lowes and get my remaining bags and she did not even acknowledge my statement, so I left, went to Lowes and bought my mulch, a rake, outdoor furniture, solar lighting and 4 carpets from Lowe's. They treated me like a customer at Lowes unlike the so called mgr at home depot. read more

This location is the place that I frequent often. I'm always greeted with a warm and friendly smile. The employees are quick to ask if you need assistance. My husband and I went here today to get some cleaning supplies to start early spring cleaning. We obtained a rubbermaid spray mop,refill pads, and once done floor cleaner. Our total bill was $29.60 with a $3.00 discount. I will continue to go to Home Depot for my home needs. read more

I custom ordered a storm door in March 2020. The guy said I could pay for it up front, call or order it online. Come to find out you can only order up front so I came in on March 21st, have them my order number and paid for it. They said it would take about two weeks to come in. Well after three calls and 2.5 months of them pushing up the delivery date, I call today for a status only to be told - Oh, we show the order was cancelled because you never paid. WTF?!!! I go into the store to customer service, show my receipt, they look it up and say well we can reorder for you and it may get here June- NO GIVE ME MY $ back cuz this is absolutely ridiculous!!! read more

This my home Home Depot! I don't come by all that often, as I have a Lowe's that is closer to home. However, when I do stop by there has always been somebody to direct me and offer advice. The only draw back may be the cashiers who are sometimes a little slow and uninformed to the day's happenings. Worst customer service ever. Don't waste your time and go to the Lowe's down the street, pretty disappointed

In the cookie cutter world of big box stores we live in it is refreshing to get an experience where the entire store was committed to an exceptional customer service standard. At most hardware stores it seems like employees try to avoid you so they don't have to answer your stupid novice questions. I believe I counted 11 different employees at this Home Depot that actually asked if they could help me and my wife find something. The best part was the paint department where the nice gentleman explained us the differences between the brands of paints and help us select the correct finish for our room. I am so sad I don't recall his name because he was excellent. We live about 20 mins from this Home Depot but will continue to make the trip past many other hardware stores including other Home Depots to go back. Great work to the team that worked the store August 10th around 6pm. read more

7 At night, December 16th, Mike, the store manager at the time was trying to avoid from taking competitors coupon. He was not being reasonable, he was being more like a jerk by keep repeating "we don't take printout coupon, we don't take printout coupons" just to block what I have to say. Very disrespect full. I was trying to explain to him that, now, Lowes only send coupon to email address, after you register your new house. There is no other way. But he didn't care of what I have to say. So I have left behind the store with a cart full of products and 2hr of my time shopping in there. Mike probably had a long day at work but so did I. Walked in yesterday with a mission. I needed four new speciality light bulbs. Two for an entertainment center and two for a china cabinet. As I was walking through the door, I was greeted by a gentleman asking what I needed and how they could help. I showed him my sample bulbs and he called to another gentleman who walked me over to the bulbs, found exactly what I needed and I was off. In and out of the store in like four minutes on a Saturday afternoon. If left on my own, it could've taken a half hour. I was very impressed by their customer service and how smoothly their process worked. Location is a little less than desired as I felt the need to hustle to my car as I walked out of the building, but still worth it. read more

I was told it is not my obligation to help you!! DO WHAT???? That is what CS is!!! I am truly disapointed in Home Depot as a company and in the managers there. #HomeDepot should never be used for any installation project you have in mind. I ordered a new front door in early JULY OF 2018! The measurement takes places, over 2 hours after it was supposed to because the "person's phone died in the front of the neighborhood and he didn't know how to get here" to which the owner of the company called me "from a funeral". Then nothing so I call the store to have them tell me I have to order the door, which had already been done-and they deleted it-twice somehow. It is finally ordered and delivered and installed. The installer shows up late, immediately rips out the door. While no door is on he decides he should smoke a cigarette which naturally fills my house. ‍ upon him completing the project he asks me to sign a paper that there are no problems and all is complete-there is damage at the top and is the wrong color on the interior so I refuse to sign. I have to go back in to the store because of course they do not call me with concerns. They state they have ordered a new one but it is actually my fault the order was wrong...they call me several weeks later to see if I am satisfied because the manufacture has shut down their plant to install new machines so there is not a mix up in color (uhhhhhh it's green it was supposed to be white I don't think that's a mix up!) Eventually the second door is delivered and they are scheduled to install FEBRUARY 23rd, 2019...it rains and instead of offering the 24th-I was forced to wait until today MARCH 23rd, 2019! The gentleman calls stating he is ahead of schedule and asks if he can come. No problem! He gets here telling me the door frame is cracked and asks if he can just switch out the door. While inspecting the door with me (I guess they learned something) there are black spots all over the door and naturally I reject the door. Mom (purchased this as my graduation present) calls the store and they are rude and disrespectful to her!
