I cannot tell you how disappointed I was with the delivery service around this order! I ordered this on-line from the Home Depot (HD) website with Chaska, MN as my home store. At the time, this site was showing 3 of the Toro snowblowers in stock of the model I wanted. The site said "free delivery". I figured that even though the product was $50 more than a competing snowblower that I was considering at Fleet Farm it was worth the free delivery. I made a presumption that it would be delivered from the Chaska, MN Home Depot and I would likely have it within "days" (not weeks!). It was only after I placed the order and paid (on 10/20/2020) that I found out the delivery date was for November 9th. I called HD customer service and went through a lengthy circle of automated responses before I got a live person. When I did, that person could only tell me what I could find out for myself online. I pressed the person to find out where my order was in the shipment process and they ultimately told me it was with Central Transport, but that is all they could tell me. I googled central transport but without a PRO number or Bill of Lading number there was no information they could give me. I called HD customer service back, explained my dilemma and was put on hold for about 15 minutes. Finally the representative told me she was able to find a PRO # and that I could track the order on Central Transport web site using that. Using the PRO #, I found out that the snowblower was shipped from Toro in El Paso, TX and arrived at Central Transport in Blaine, MN on 10/26. Yet the delivery date was still set at 11/9/2020. 11/9 came and went so I called Central Transport. That representative said that I had call them to make an appointment for delivery. She transferred me to the warehouse which rang forever and then went to voicemail. I called again the next day and finally was connected to a live person and had the delivery scheduled for 11/13. The warehouse called me late that day and said it had to be delivered n 11/14 due to truck problems. Ultimately I received it on 11/14 in a box which now needs assembly. This was a terrible experience and I feel as though there was zero proactivity on behalf of Home Depot to determine if I successfully received my order. Had I not made the multiple calls I am convinced I would still not have my snowblower, though you would have had my money for nearly a month. read more

I paid Home Depot to install flooring in the contract it states all pad and tack strips will be glued. Thier installers came and stapled and nail into my radiant heat pipes. I informed the store and Customer Service through various methods each time pushed off to someone else. It has been 6 days and I still have not gotten a single rep to schedule an appt to come assess the damage. They are also so far refusing to refund me for the carpet I had to rip out myself to stop it from continuing to damage my house (as it is wet) or for the money I paid to have it install even though it was not done to the contract. They didn't call us to let us know that our building materials were ready for delivery, even though they said they did call. We happened to be in the store and decided to check to see what the holdup was. Good thing we did that, or we still wouldn't have them. The delivery guy called and said he would be about 10 minutes. He came an hour later, and didn't even bother to ring the doorbell. He just left the delicate and very valuable items (15 items - 400 lbs in all) in the driveway, leaning against a deck railing, nearly breaking it off. I looked out the window to see all the items sitting in the driveway, and him and the truck were long gone. If I had been elderly or handicapped, I would not have been able to bring the stuff into the house myself. Tried to purchase a snowblower over a month ago. Delivery was pushed 3 times. Each time was another week wait. 4 time it was pushed again out 2 more weeks. Spoken to 4 different customer service reps and 2 managers none of them could or would trac the orders location. All I was told was that an order was placed, and "in delivery", Indefinitely apparently. When I finally got sick of this nonsense and attempted to cancel the order I was informed that I couldn't due to the order being "out for delivery". I was informed all I can do is wait until the order was delivered and than refuse accepting it. I was forced to refute payment with my CC company and start an inquiry with Visa. Purchased a Kreg pocket screw kit online. Said it would arrive in 3 days which was fine since I needed it for a job in 5 days. 4 days later still not arrived. Shows as not having even been shipped yet. Contacted customer service to cancel the order as was just going to get it from Amazon in 2 days. Online person said couldn't cancel as was a special order (it wasn't) and had to wait approx. 5 business days (or more)(and it was a holiday weekend) for item to show up then they could process a return and I would have to go through that hassle. I would give zero stars if it would let me. Manager Mini and the Branan field location in Florida was all but useless in helping and quite frankly was extremely rude. Rented a mini excavator for a day, returned it an hour late, and was charged another FULL day for it. When I spoke with manager Mini about possible solutions to remedy the situation, she brushed me off as if she had better things to deal with. I understand I signed a contract, and I understand that I violated that contract by returning the equipment late. However, as a well know establishment, your managers should have more takt and be willing to help or offer possible solutions instead of just brushing off a customer that is in need of assistance. Rude and disrespectful and don't care. I went in one evening to set up an appointment to have my front door measured to purchase a customized security door well over $2k. They were busy as usual & a guy told me he worked in the door dept but was helping another cust. No problem at all. I kindly waited for him. At this time another man (Mngr) walked past asking if I needed help? Ended advising me the man I was waiting for was the best guy to help me. Well said employee comes back to help me in a reasonable time and asks me to follow him to the desk to schedule the appointment. As I follow he walks past the desk to help someone else. I wait he turns to get a tape measure back at his desk, the customer looked at me like "isn't he helping you?" I thought well maybe he is going to give this guy the tape measure and get back to helping me...nope. so I interrupted and asked " I thought you were helping me?" He absolutely ignored me! I knew I wouldn't handle anything next well so I left & stopped to ask to speak with the Manager. Well low and behold it's the other guy who told be to wait on the Fart-tard to help me. All he did was shrug his shoulders advised he'd say something to his now twin Fart-Tard with a sorry about that with tone of " I don't give a F! Lady. Wow the Mngr didn't even offer to schedule the appointment for me! I'll gladly spend my $2k+ elsewhere. I came home and canceled my card. The unit was delivered but the three employees who were sent out were unable to take an inch off a two by four to make the existing set up work. Honestly what does "installation" even mean? Scratched down a phone number on a piece of paper for me to call Damage Allowance. Called; put on hold multiple times, and transferred three times. Ordered refrigerator and was delivered today. We paid extra to remove old appliance and water line. We planned on moving old fridge from kitchen to garage and having old freezer hauled off. They were empty and staged at garage door. We were told no, that would be an extra charge. That is not what we were told in store and we asked. Fine, we paid the extra $25. Then we were told they don't ever connect to copper lines so no water connection there. Then they left, no leveling, shelves, plastic or anything else. So if you don't know how to or are physically unable to level your appliance, you should buy elsewhere. As far as we are concerned that was not installation that was delivery only! The young men that delivered fridge were not rude they only did what Home Depot paid them to do. The website states we will have it up and running for you! Called Frigidaire and they said there was no demo mode. 2nd call I asked for a redelivery, they said I only had 48 hours to report problem. It's funny how every time I go into a Home Depot during work hours, the laborers in the parking lot always thinks I'm looking for help. The minute I get out of my car, I feel a dozen eyes looking at me. To be honest, I have used them before for manual labor. Some are good workers, and others are a bit on the lazy side. So be careful on who you pick. This location caters to a lot of contractors. I see plumbers, electricians, wood workers, etc. all there buying and returning things. This location is well stocked and it's quite organized. The staff is friendly and they know their way around the store very well. Although I have also experienced a few not so knowledgeable employees as well. Hopefully they're new, and is learning so they can serve the customers better. I really like the express cash registers where you don't have to wait in line (usually) to pay. You scan your own stuff and pay with a a credit card. The scanner is user friendly and it's not hard to use. I like Home Depots! read more

This store literally has the worst service ever. Currently waiting for them to resolve my issue. I've been here for an hour and a half trying to order new cabinets. First they said they could order everything, took the woman helping me a full hour just to figure out what she was doing, finally another employee came to assist, but he disappeared and left us hanging. The associate messed around with the computer for another half hour and we still don't have what we need. We are still standing here waiting for her to complete the order. The woman helping us has been extremely nice, but the amount of time she's spent on this is unfair to her, us and the other customers waiting. Home Depot needs to do a better job at training their employees to make sure they have the resources they need to do their job efficiently. I will never step foot in this store again. read more

I am a HD C/C holder and have been for some time. I ordered out son a HD gift card, that is now missing and NOBODY at HD knows what to do or how to handle the problem. The people who answer the phone, only know how to read off a scripts, and seem devoid of the compacity of independent thought. I should have bought the Lowes Gift card from Amazon. At least with Amazon I know where my order is and can always get a hold of someone either online or on the phone to get an answer. I won't make the same mistake again. read more

The Home Depot protection plan is a joke! I purchased a refrigerator back in April 2019 along with the 3 year protection plan. Since then, I have had to place a service call twice. The second and most recent one on Friday 10/15/2021. I was initially told via phone that a repair man would come out on Tuesday 10/19/2021 to conduct the repairs. Instead, without warning I received a text message that a repair man would not be able to come out until 11/17/2021. While the representative was telling me one thing on the phone, he lied and knew an appointment would not be available until a month out, 33 days to be exact!. Now, I am supposed to wait 33 days before someone comes out to look at my fridge. At no point in time did anyone call or ask if this would be a problem, offer any type of solution.... Nothing! After numerous attempts calling the Home Depot Protection Plan and being placed on hold to only be transferred over to A&E, which is the insurance company Home Depot uses and the insurance company customers have to deal with I was placed on hold over 8 times and was on hold with both Home Depot Protection Plan and A&E for almost 4 hours this morning. YES 4 HOURS! I had to request time off from work to physically drive to Home Depot while I was still on hold attempting to get some help. Which by the way, NO ONE ever came to the phone. However, the outcome was the same. I had to deal with Claire are representative of the insurance company via phone who told me the following: LG does not have ANYONE, NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON/COMPANY to service my area/home. How is this my problem? Why should I be made to suffer? The soonest they can come and check/repair my refrigerator is 11/17/2021. Due to the long wait which LG considers 15 days. YES 15 DAYS WITHOUT A REFRIGERATOR. I have 3 options Wait until 11/17/2021 to have my refrigerator serviced (that is if they do not cancel on me again) They will give me a $250 credit towards a mini fridge, and then wait until 11/17/2021 for my fridge to be serviced. However I still have to follow and wait to see what type of repairs the refrigerator will need. I can request a refund...BUT HERE'S THE CATCH I cannot get a $250 credit towards a fridge I have to wait 15 days from the time I filed the claim, which was 10/15/2021. Claire said that 15 days would fall on 10/30/2021 and due to it being a Saturday, she would file it on 10/29/2021. Once the 15 days have passed, Claire would automatically submit a claim on my behalf. However, in order to do this I needed to complete a questionnaire, which I am still waiting on by the way.  I have messaged her, and have received no response. Once the claim has been filed, I then will have to wait 5 - 10 business days to see if my claim gets approved. If my claim gets approved, LG will then issue me a refund. However, the refund is based on the remaining value of the refrigerator as it will be depreciated through the day I filed the claim. Keeping in mind that I paid over $2000 for a fridge I only used for 18 months. If my claim gets approved, the amount to be refunded will be mailed to me and this could take anywhere from 5 - 10 business days. SO BASICALLY, IT IS GOING TO TAKE ANYWHERE FROM 4 - 6 WEEKS FOR ME TO GET SERVICE OR A FRIDGE. NOT COUNTING THE DAYS IT WILL TAKE TO HAVE A NEW ONE DELIVERED... THAT'S IF I CAN AFFORD A NEW ONE. I was told by Claire, who conveniently did not provide me with a phone number, that I could text her and she would respond to my inquiries right away and assist me. Well here I am trying to find out what the next steps are so I can get a working refrigerator AND nothing, no response from Claire. I want to make one thing clear... At no point in time have I asked for a new refrigerator, nor was I expecting one. The above information was given to me by Claire. I am still waiting on my food credit for all of the damaged goods that were in my refrigerator that were lost. On top of all this I had to purchase a $277.13 refrigerator from Home Depot to get me through this ordeal because it's been almost a week that I have had a working refrigerator, yet I am expected to wait even longer. The most comical part of this is that Judy, a Home Depot manager (while she was very nice) expected me to pay a delivery fee.
