They have a little bit of everything on their floor from PPE and hand tools to power tools, and bench tools. It also seems that if they don't have it there, they can order it for you. They have a pretty extensive catalog while I was in there a gentleman was upset with the employees because he thought they had ordered the wrong tool for him, but turns the tool that arrived was the one he ordered and maybe he got confused. Seems he took a little bit of advantage of their good customer service and they were very helpful to him even if he doesn't realize that. She said that no returns can be made if the parts didn't fit her words, "it has to be in sellable condition in original packaging". We experienced the worst customer service from Grainger. We purchased a product in Santa Fe springs, California to find out that we had to drive 32 miles to Rancho Cucamonga! When we arrived just to find out there is no trace of the order that was placed and paid in full. We spent the whole afternoon. The building is shut tight no one opens the front door. We finally talked to someone that tried to help. We still had to wait , we left to get some food and finally after 4 hours we were able to get results. If you have no other choice but to do business here make sure you get names and by all means a receipt! Terrible customer service! read more

I order a chaise lounge on June 1st and after purchased I was told I would receive an email with a delivery date. I got it and would be able to pickup on the 17th. Called on 17th and was told they would call me back. No call Call today 21st and now say not till 1st of July. They gave me no reason except they blamed their. Vendor How can they not control their vendors. Maybe let public know that when you buy something that is outsourced that you will have to wait a month. This was a birthday present and it has passed. Graingers used to be the place to go You would pay their higher price because you knew they had it in stock and you could walk out the door with your part. Now every time I go in they never have it it always has to Be ordered. I have called McMaster Carr and paid a higher price but That part will be on my desk delivered to me in 3 hours. Or I can go there and walk out with part. I have purchased millions of dollars in product over the years with Graingers, but I believe those days are over Sadly. I can get it at Amazon cheaper and faster. In the building maintenance industry when you need a part you need it yesterday. So Sad. read more

Great stuff, but awfully unfriendly. This short lady with short hair gave me and my coworker a nasty attitude as we were asking questions on some hardware. On top of that, she was acting as if she was busier than Obama! Listen! You are working because of customers like us. No customers, no job... Comprende? I purchased a shop press online and chose to pickup the item using their curbside delivery. The service is offered on their website and was confirmed as my pickup option. Associates at the store have no idea what this service is. After a 30 minute wait in my car and another 15 wait in the store just to pick up my purchase. A terrible experience! read more

Can't say enough about these guys. I own an auto repair shop and my air compressor gave out on me without warning at 3:30pm in the afternoon. Could not get air to my lifts so I had cars stuck up in the air. Went to 3 other electric supply shops for start up capacitors and no one carried them. The guy at the last store said I should try Graingers. By the time I got there it was 5pm and they had closed, desperate I started to knock on the door and one of the employees came to the door. Long story short, these guys re-opened the store, gave me the capacitors I needed and where very professional and courteous. I am very thankful for their customer service, and professionalism. Anyway they were the only place I found that had what I needed and would actually sell it to me. They were super helpful and fast.
