I didn't plan on posting a review, but considering this is the second time that i've had a similar issue.....  I went to the Home Depot today with the singular mission of buying wallpaper. It shouldn't be an odyssey, folks. It's WALLPAPER. A basic home improvement item. But apparently, at Home Depot, even the simplest tasks turn into an epic quest. For 40 minutes, I wandered the aisles like Dante lost in IKEA. I consulted the poorly labeled signage, looking for "Showroom Bay 019" I navigated past precariously stacked lumber mountains and dodged bored-looking employees with the enthusiasm of a sloth on sleeping pills. Wallpaper? Not a single roll in sight. Where is the showroom?@ Finally, on the verge of wallpaper-induced rage, a kind employee asked me if I needed help.. Of course, at that moment, the website was giving me trouble. He wasn't an expert in wall coverings, so he flagged down the girl who was. The girl scanned my hopeful face, then delivered the crushing blow: "I have wallpaper remover."  WHAT?! That's not what I asked for. My phone, clutched tightly in my sweaty hand, displayed the Home Depot website on the screen. In glorious technicolor, it declared they had TWO rolls of the exact wallpaper I needed in stock at this very location!  The employee, clearly unfazed by my disbelief, shrugged and mumbled something about "are you looking in Coventry?"  I was ready to lose it, so I walked out. Here's the thing, Home Depot: Your website is your digital storefront. If it blatantly lies about what you have in stock, it's a colossal waste of everyone's time, Why didn't the employee check their computer? Or maybe... just maybe...bring me to the aisle rather than an immediate "no." My 40 minutes of lost hope and frustration could have been spent, you know, actually improving my home. This isn't just about wallpaper. It's about a fundamental lack of respect for your customers' time and trust. If you can't be bothered to update your website, train your staff, or provide basic customer service, then maybe it's time to rethink your entire business model.

Big pluses for being dog friendly.Lil' Mo enjoyed his first carriage ride. I just don't understand where they find some of the people that work here. They have no idea what they're doing. I have never had a run-in in 15 years with anybody that knew what I was looking for-whether it be fencing, plumbing, electrical home decor, lighting, etc. Make sure you know what you are looking for because you're gonna have to be the one to find it!!

We recently purchased a refrigerator from the Coventry Home Depot. The sales lady was fine and helpful. The delivery people seemed to do a good job at first but a few days later we noticed a leak on the floor below the refrigerator and found out they didn't connect the refrigerator to the existing water supply correctly. They had bent and damaged the copper tubing and the connection between the copper tubing and the refrigerator was leaking because of that. When we called Home Depot they refused to do anything about it because more than 48 hours had passed. They said to contact the manufacturer which didn't make sense since the product was fine it was the installation by Temco Logistics that was at fault. We had to get our own plumber at a cost of $200 to fix the problem. When I asked Home Depot to reimburse me for the plumber they refused and the person I talked to admitted that the person who took our call should have told us to request a reinstall. Poor customer service and poorly trained workers. I will not buy any more appliances from Home Depot.

This is probably my favorite Home Depot store. It's fairly easy to find things, although by this point, I know the store well. Still, the layout makes sense. They are well stocked; most times, they've had what I need to complete a project. I also buy most of my tools here. Sometimes, Home Depot will surprise you. I recently had a plumbing job where I needed a certain style of toilet flange. I called about a half dozen plumbing supply stores, but Home Depot was the only place that had the exact style of flange I needed, which literally saved the day. They have a decent amount of floor help, and the employees I've dealt with have been polite and helpful. My wife is also enjoys coming here, mainly for the garden center and home decorations. The only reason I can't give them 5 stars is that I hate driving down Centre of New England Boulevard - with its choppy, bumpy pavement - to get to this Home Depot.

During that time, we faced ignored calls, poor workmanship, and no accountability. After months of frustration, Lowe's offered just $1,100--but only if we signed a nondisclosure and release that voided all warranties. --- Main Complaint (Condensed Review): We hired Lowe's Home Improvement for a simple 8-cabinet pull-and-replace kitchen project costing about $15,000. We were required to pay in full upfront in February, but the job was not completed until the end of October--over eight months later. During that time, we faced poor workmanship, repeated delays, missing materials, and unreturned calls. Lowe's stores and customer service appear to use caller ID; our calls, especially to the store, went unanswered. After more than a week of trying to reach the cabinet department, my husband went to the store, called from an aisle with a clear view, and watched employees look at the ringing phone and ignore it. When he asked for a manager, he was told the manager would be in his office all day and not speaking to anyone. After all this, Lowe's offered only $1,100 in compensation--but required us to sign a detailed nondisclosure and release of liability that would also void all warranties on our kitchen products. This was essentially an attempt to buy our silence about an entirely disastrous project. We find this unreasonable. No customer should have to waive warranties or the right to speak about their experience just to receive partial compensation for a project paid in full and delayed eight months. I was in this area of Warwick recently and I decided to look at their paint supplies. I thought Valspar was Lowe's private label brand (like Behr is Home Depot's) but when I did some research I realized that Valspar was a separate brand by itself. Valspar is based in Minneapolis. With over 11,000 employees in 26 countries and a company history that spans two centuries, it was the sixth largest paint and coating corporation in the world. Valspar was founded in 1806 as a paint dealership in Boston, Massachusetts. The Valspar name emerged in 1903 as the name of a clear varnish and became the company name in 1932. Sherwin-Williams acquired Valspar in 2017. Anyway, their prices were competitive to Home Depot or Benjamin Moore or Sherwin Williams. Lots of choices and price points.

I purchased the Harborbreeze ceiling fan here on June 4. I hired a registered electrician who used…read moreto install ceiling fans for Lowe's for years. He came and dismantled my former one and disposed of it and spent a good part of the day putting together the new fan and hooking it up and putting in a new switch and getting it all set up and ready to go. From the first day, I had it, the motor made a clinging noise as the fan went round and round the faster I made the van Gogh the noisier the fan was my electrician came back today and took it all apart and checked every one of his connections and everything was done perfectly, and nothing was looped, and he said it was all in the motor itself, we tried to run it again, and then the motor just died obviously it had a faulty motor in it, and it was all the fault of Harbor breeze that manufactured it. I went to Lowe's here on Quaker Lane to speak with the manager. I was told he was in an all day district meeting. I asked for the assistant manager, and was told there was no assistant manager. I don't understand how a store that lodge can function all day long without anyone in charge! I went home and call the telephone number that was on the Harborbreeze booklet that came with the fan and it connected me to customer service at Lowe's, I explained my situation and after a long time finally got a return authorization number to return the fan that cost me over $200 to begin with. Then he connected me with another Lowe's department that was going to offer me a compensation. After waiting for the woman to come back with this compensation figure I lost the call. She never called me back so I had a call back and give my story all over again to another person. This person had me wait for 10 minutes and came back and told me they could compensate me $20. I told her I paid my electrician $450 to install a faulty fan and would have to do it all over again and all they could offer me was $20. She went back to a supervisor after I demanded that and her supervisor authorized $50! What an insult to me and what a sham! Imagine Lowe's a multi billion dollar company which stores all over offer me a $50 compensation for something that's gonna cost me another almost $500 because they sold me a faulty Harborbreeze fan! Once I replace this fan and use this wonderful $50 gift card I will never ever purchase another item at Lowe's again. Shame on this company and how lousy I was treated!
