Out of the Home Depots we have visited recently, this one was probably the best in options we had. Which was saying something, since it felt like every store we visited was a completely different one. Flowers, many perennials, had a few different color options, but many were colors we did not see anywhere else. Bold magentas, deep oranges, they were all pretty surprising. If you purchase an appliance here... open the box BEFORE you leave and not after you get home, put it in the basement and then unbox it. Purchased two fridge/freezer appliances within a week and both have damage after opening the box. Now I have to figure out how to get them back out of the basement to return them (best online custom service would do was $85 for the big door ding one). Save yourself the extra steps and just buy your appliances elsewhere or plan on opening them in the parking lot first. read more

Today I went in to get a new handle for my broken toilet and a water filter for my GE refrigerator. The store was clean, bright and easy to get around. It's all really well marked and what I needed was extremely simple to locate. I had a wonderful conversation with an employee that made me smile. The employees here are always so nice. There was no line at self checkout and o bought my items and headed home. A simple and first rate experience. I will be back in a few weeks to buy some new trees and a lawn mower. Ps. There was a blonde female employee working the return desk around 12:30 on 05/18/25 who was pressed by a very verbal abusive man. The officer should have made him leave since he was raising his voice. She made sure to service the other customers in order while trying to remain calm. Tis the season to not be giving at this Home Depot. After dinner excitedly my sister and I headed over to Home Depot to buy my parents a grill for Christmas. After scoping out the grills we realize the one we need is high up on the shelf. We ask for help. Wait 20 mins nobody shows up. So we ask for help again... 10 mins later we are on the ladder trying to get the grill down ourselves, they are lucky I'm not down bad otherwise that Grill would have "fallen on me" anyways don't go here you won't get help read more

"Express Lockers" and yes, this is awesome way to shop at Homedepot. Shop on line for items in stock at the location near you for pick up in store. When its ready, you will get a text with a code. There are wall of Express Lockers as you enter through main entrance and follow the prompt on the monitor. That's it! Took me 30 seconds to pick up my item and I was back in my car. read more

We just bought a display pergola, we had to take it down ourselves, there was zero discount, zero help, we needed an extra tool and they wouldn't let us borrow anything but one wrench. It took 2 hours, we even had to take the string of lights off that were on it. The employee was super nice but wish the owner (that they had to contact) would have made it a little easier after we put in so much work. read more

When you buy a house, always make sure you're close to an HD like this one. Even the smallest projects can quickly turn into multiple-trip nightmares. Having this place five minutes away takes the sting out of things a bIt. So, it's your standard Home Depot, massive and tough to navigate when you need very specific things, but here's where they stand out. Friendly people who are happy to point you in the right direction or walk you to the exact spot. Need an explanation or help figuring out wtf you need? There are some highly knowledgeable people here who know the store inside and out. I can show them a pic on my phone and sorta explain what I'm trying to do, and they totally get it. And at the register, there are at least a couple folks who know us and ask how the home updates are going then wish us luck as we head out the door. In the last couple years, this is where we've gone for paint, tools, toilets, ceiling fans, wasp spray, you name it. Prices are ok, but they can sometimes be out of items and things are often jumbled. I know they can't help that people put stuff back in the wrong place, but the store needs a good aisle by aisle refresh. I'd also love to see them bring in more modern stuff likes door knobs and cabinet hardware. Gotta keep up with the times! Bonus points for the La Keka food wagon parked outside. Delicious burritos that can even make your third trip for one project bearable. Btw, bathrooms are way way in the back of the store, sorta in the middle but to the left. Save yourself and do NOT buy an appliance here! Bought a brand new 2023 oven right off the floor. Opened it up, inspected it, and all looked good. The next day, we come in to pick it up and it's already wrapped up and ready to take home. We load it in the truck and take it home not even a mile down the road. Bring it in the house, open it up, and already one of the knobs isn't working correctly. Open up the oven (after we already opened it several times at the store) and what do you know the hinge breaks OFF the door. Not usable. They have a 48 hour return policy for appliances but when we went in they told us they would not take it back and we have to deal with Samsung. My oven door has been open for over a week - not able to be used - all because Home Depot would not give us anything except for $150 for Samsung to come service it. Now, we need to wait yet another week for parts to come in. Thank you SO much Home Depot for making this our problem when it should've been yours. Every single Samsung rep said that you should be taking care of this. If you do end up buying a appliance here even after reading all of that...make sure they don't put your major appliance purchase under general merchandise. That's what they did for us and everyone we talked to, even Home Depot Support at Samsung, said that they placed our in store order wrong. Save yourself the trip and go to Costco or directly to the company that the appliance is from. I swear you'll be happy you did. read more

Todd is the best, find him! We are doing a re-model of our house and he has met with us on several occasions. On the day we bought everything he walked around with us for hours picking everything, then helped us finance. Then stayed after hours to get it all checked out! We really like this Home Depot! I have gone to the Bear Valley Home Depot for years and most of the employees are friendly and helpful. But today, Robin at Customer Service was unnecessarily hostile and dismissive when I went in to do an exchange and a return. All the other associates who I interacted with listened to my situation closely, understood and were helpful. There is no need to be dismissive and hostile with customers no matter how complicated the situation may be. Think outside of the box about how to best rectify the situation. It has taken me some time to write a review on my absolute horrible experience with Home Depot located in Bear Valley. On March 6th, I went into the Home Depot to purchase a Washer and Dryer for my new home purchase. It was about 6:30pm in the evening and there was only one girl available in the appliances area. The store was pretty empty, so it wasn't very busy, and I should have been able to find assistance rather quickly. The girl (I am withholding her name for privacy) who finally assisted me seemed so irritated to answer my questions. I wanted to make sure I was buying something that I wanted and met my needs. I also needed to have the washer and dryer in my home quickly, as I was scheduled to move into my new home over the weekend and week and needed the appliance. I also had just received a coupon from Home Depot showing the washer and dryer at a lower price, it was a "Today Only" type of discount. When presenting to the girl, she said it wasn't valid and didn't even try to help find out why. Everything I asked was answered with a NO answer. The girl had such a lack of interest in my needs, I literally walked out of the purchase. However, I didn't want to start a hunt and went ahead and purchased the appliances. I specifically asked to have a morning delivery, and she said that could occur. She also stated that I would receive a call the day before my install to tell me my window time. I work far from home, and I had to arrange for someone to be at the house for the delivery. The day before the install came, and I received no call, just an email came the night before my delivery telling me my delivery time was going to be in the PM. When I called to change the time, they said they couldn't, all they could do is reschedule the whole day and it would be as far out as another week. I jumped through hoops to get someone at the house for the PM delivery. On the day of delivery, the delivery guy called and said he was 20 min away. I had called the store appliance manager to give her my negative experience so far and she said all she could do was put notes for them to call me when they were 45 min out so I could drive to the house. That didn't happen. I was lucky to have a neighbor go to the house, because there was no way I could get to the house on time. The delivery guy didn't show up for an hour later, even though he said he was 20 min away. My neighbor had to wait a longer time and her plans were delayed. They arrived, took the appliance in and then said they couldn't install because I didn't have a small connecting ring and I would have to reschedule my entire install for the next week. I called the store's appliance manager and she stated that she could get the part but couldn't get it in enough time for my install. I asked if we could just go pick it up and we could get back in 15 min for the installer to stay and install as soon as we got back. That wasn't an option. Luckily, I thought, the installer forgot his drill, and so he asked to come back to the house. We purchased the part and he agreed to finish the install. However, when he arrived, I showed him an area where they tore the floor and he completely belittled me. Argued with me, and in a vague way threatened me to not call that claim in as it comes out of his company's pocket. In addition, I wanted the dry and washer swapped, and the door switched, and he continued to tell me no that isn't what I wanted and refused to swap the washer and dryer. The water lines are stretching across the wall to the water faucets. When I called the large appliance manager to discuss my horrible experience, she really didn't care if I wanted her to return the merchandise. I asked for her Regional Manager's name and she told me to call the customer service number if I had a complaint. She also told me I would have to wait a whole week for them to come and pick up the merchandise. Complete lack of care and the install company was rude and threatening. If I wasn't in an urgent need for the washer and dryer, I would have never gone through with this purchase or install. read more

Do buy the carpet with the free install.. first of all the person that comes out has a shirt from the Home Depot but they are from Hom Solutions inc. Then after you pay 50.00 for the measure and go in to pay for tue carpet there is a charge for 139.00 for 5-7 day order even on carpet that they say is in stock. Then after almost 3 weeks later you ask for a update and find out that they didn't do the measurements right the first time so they want to redo the whole order and pay more and wait anther 2-3 weeks for a install. When you tell them to forget about it and give back your money they will tell you that they have to get the ok from Hom Solutions inc 4-5 days then it will be 4-5 days before they will put our money back on our card. If you ask for Hom Solutions inc they will tell you that they can't give out their number and this was said by Home Depot in bear valley assistant store manager and to look it up.. then when you call Hom Solutions inc it goes to a voicemail and they will not call you back.. read more

Ultimately you can't go wrong with Home Depot. Having been here almost 20 times now (in the last 3 days), it's the place to shop for everything! The folks are friendly, they're almost always knowledgeable, and my favorite thing about Home Depot is that you don't need your receipt to return something - you just swipe your credit card and up comes your purchase. I've used Home Depot for my small projects for a very long time. Recently, I've used them for new windows and new blinds. I've also been working with someone on AC Installation, lighting, and a few other things. It is a the place to go for me. I've recently started working on a couple of larger personal projects. Small wood constructions taking place in my garage. I needed to go in and purchase several pieces of lumber and mdf. Unfortunately I don't have a table saw or any large power tools, so I was banking on reviews and HD.com that pointed me in the direction of having the employees assist with questions and comments. On my last trip, I don't think I got a positive reaction out of any of the 5 employees that crossed my path. One of them just stared me down as she walked past. Not with a smile. But what felt like "don't talk to me" expressions. I bypassed her and went to the employee that she was talking with. But when I started talking to him about locating pieces of lumber and having them cut, his response was "well I'm not cutting it" and inferred that it didn't matter to him if he helped me or not. I then waited by the cutting area after asking for someone to help. A man showed up but his first question was "how many pieces do you need cut? This isn't my area so I can't/won't spend a lot of time with you. I have to get back to plumbing" I told him I had several questions and several pieces and if he didn't have time that I would wait for someone who did. The next man that came over smelled like he was still smoking a cigarette. It was overwhelming. But I didn't have to wait long for his answer. He nearly flat out refused to do my cuts. I asked him what cuts he would do. He said nothing precise. Just enough to make the pieces smaller to fit in my car (if he had asked, I would have told him there was more than enough room for the 8 foot long pieces in my truck, but I guess he just wanted to assume. Maybe it was how I was dressed). He then told me he wouldn't help with my project at all because it was personal and walked away. As I was figuring out what to do next. He walked back and again told me that he wasn't going to help me. I get it. You don't want to help. You don't need to keep telling me. I heard you the first two times. If you have the ability to be self sufficient, find what you need by yourself, and don't NEED to talk to anyone, this place is fine. If you're buying a large item(s) that need to be installed or custom ordered and you're working with someone in a particular area (windows, blinds, roof, paint, etc) that is a specialist that you're probably fine. but the roaming employees don't seem to be much of a help and nearly everyone I worked with on that day had some sort of chip or attitude. I went into this store today about 1:20 PM. I was on the search for a part for my weed trimmer, and had no idea how to find it. I stood at customer service for maybe 10 min without a single associate ever acknowledging me, and then they let people (men) cut in front of me. At that point, I said, "Um, hi...." Finally someone looked up at me. I asked the young man where I could find a part for my trimmer. He has no idea other than to tell me to go to aisle 3. He also didn't call for anyone to assist me. I got to aisle 3 and waited about another 10 min while the associate there assisted another customer. It was so hot in the store that I had sweat dripping down my face and body. Finally, the young man asked if I needed something. I showed him what I needed and he had no idea. He said he'd call a "trimmer" specialist named D., and that he'd be right over. After about another 10 minutes, D. didn't come over. So I found him, and he said he'd been busy with other customers. I'd have been okay with that if it was actually true. I saw him just chatting it up with a co-worker, and just ignoring me for all that time. :( Then it turned out that the store doesn't carry the part I needed. They also didn't have the small plastic swimming pool that I wanted to get for my daughter. So I left empty-handed, feeling like only males are valued at Home Depot. :( Pretty sad, considering I used to work for Home Depot and I treated customers way better than this. read more

I frequented this Home Depot multiple times per day during a week of working on my house. My first visit left me a little concerned as I had trouble getting the help I needed when I needed it. Two minutes into visit number two and that was no longer a concern. Turns out that this is one of the smaller Home Depot's in the area. Apparently, it does not have rentals. This used to be a great Home Depot. Over the last year it has really gone down hill. There are a lot of sales associates on the floor, but they mostly stand around and chat and gossip. I used to visit their garden center frequently and I usually buy my Christmas tree here. Unfortunately, there is now absolutely no one to help. Yesterday I went in to look at the trees and I did finally ask for help. Four associates told me the garden center was not their department. I gave up. Walked out. I will never go back. I spoke to four different employees in this department and they all unfortunately lead me different directions - to a place where I never got a follow up for my consult requested - even after paying $50.00. If I could give below zero, that would not suffice after the experience I have had with the following managers at this store: Lora Horta, Amos, Gregory, Roger, Lloyd and customer specialist, Robin. I am 48 years old, and I have had the WORST customer experience with Home Depot than I have ever had in my entire life. On 7/15/20 they took $1000+ dollars from my account, on a door they never delivered when they said they would. The door just came in on 8/13, one day before I closed on my home. The house has been sold, was under contract when I ordered the door. Now, the new buyers just moved in. Home Depot has offered to do nothing to help me. I now live in a different state. The new homeowners now live there. I have lost out on another $1000 that I had to pay the buyers to guarantee the door would be installed. So now I'm out $2000, no door, and no installer. I've talked to 4 managers, and 1 store manager. Have been given 5 different stories, and delivery dates, have had them fail to call me back when they said they would, have had to chase them down, had one manager laugh at me, and not a single offer for a refund or free installation, instead they want to charge me more to have it installed. Corporate says they can't help, because it's up to the local managers. BUYER BEWARE. DO NOT ORDER CUSTOMIZED DOOR FROM HOME DEPOT. THEY HAVE POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THE PIT OF HELL. read more

Do not buy Ryobi at Home Depot. I bought a $200+ set of battery powered Ryobi tools, including a sander with a triangular sanding pad. Two Home Depots did not carry the correct sandpaper for it. I am in the middle of sanding my deck and will not be able to use the new tools i bought. Home Depot should carry supplies for the tools it sells. read more

Speedy return at customer service, ample assistance on the sales floor, and incredible rates on truck rentals. Thanks to one of the friendly and knowledgeable sales clerks, we were able to find the kits we needed to furnish our closet with two sets of doors. She also informed us that we could rent the store's truck to take the doors home (unfortunately, the truck was already rented out for the day, but another young lady at customer service was nice enough to call another store to see if they had a truck available). We ended up coming back another day to rent the truck and take the doors home. When it turned out that one of the doors didn't fit the space, we had no trouble returning the doors. They even looked into special ordering a set a custom doors, which happened to be on sale. The doors arrived at the store as promised (about two weeks later), were fairly straightforward to install, and now look great in our new home. All of the wonderful help we received from the staff at this store made the home improvement process a lot less stressful (there was even a fiasco where a receipt got ruined in the washing machine, but they were able to provide a copy for us by looking up the transaction in their system). I love this HD. I spend more time here than I care to admit. We recently moved to the area from Park Hill and I used the HD at 40th and Quebec - which is a train wreck compared to this one. Every employee is extremely helpful and nice, returns are easy. For HD you cannot do much better. read more

I ordered a door on November 8th. It is now December 6th and they still have not called me to schedule an install. I bought windows from them, it took 2 months to install them and the salesman forgot to measure the window in the room where my thermostat is. I ordered a counter top and that took 3 weeks to get. (I did not have them install it). My recommendation? Don't hold your breath waiting for Home Depot. They want you to pay right away, then take their sweet time getting the project done or the product to you. read more

DO NOT use online ordering for this store. I ordered light bulbs for my business. I ordered the wrong Watt - my fault - of 8 ft bulbs and a case of 4 foot bulbs. Received Email my order was ready to pickup. Only the incorrect 8 ft bulbs were waiting, They had no history of the 4 ft bulbs. Wanted to refund only half the order. I had my printout of the online order so they let me take the case of 4 footers and refunded the incorrect bulbs. Great. Today I received an email that my ORDER WAS SHIPPING?!?!?!?!?!? What? Second charge on my card. Totally screwed up! The staff at Home Depot was so inept I will not shop there any more. Lowe's had the bulbs I needed at a lower price. read more

I went to this Home Depot tonight after visiting multiple other locations (because they were convenient) in the metro area this week- my first week of owning a home. Tonight as I was looking at gardening stuff, the assistant manager Rance approached me. He not only was knowledgeable in several areas, he literally walked me to every single item on my list, and gave me a high five on my home owner status. He and the cashier both tried to get me to sign up for a Home Depot credit card but I can't blame them for just trying to do their job. I will go out of my way to go to this location again because of Rance's awesome customer service! read more
