    "Delivery and Assembly included"...

    Was thrilled for delivery and assembly of our grill on Monday. Finally got ahold of our grill via Home Depot Somerville (Everett was less than helpful and Home Depot provided no update after not delivery on Monday) it was eventually delivered Friday... so glad we waited for a week to get a boxed, Unassembled grill that could have been put in my car on Saturday. Delivery person was rude and unable to bring a car down our street (normal size with no traffic) and told us that "he doesn't do that" when we asked about the assembly which was part of the deal. Would go to Ace hardware if I had to make another purchase from a hardware store.

    This Home Depot has pretty decent service for a Home Depot, better than the Somerville one. It's nice because it's in the same shopping center as Bed Bath & Beyond, Target, Petsmart, and Costco, so if you are into efficient shopping like me, this is the place to go! I can't say too much else since most Home Depots pretty much have the same materials in stock.

Multiple things worked prior to it being set up, and after it was wired up, they weren't working well. My driver side air vent was completely blocked and the wiring looked like vomit. Extremely disappointed. Nothing was appropriately wired up and "clean"... Everything was everywhere. Can you believe that the person that installed it for me at Best buy put everything in the driver side air vent so no air could go out? Then I went back the following week for things to get cleaned up, and nothing got fixed after I mentioned that it wasn't working. I'm all done with the $200 a year membership, it's not worth it I would rather go to a professional. I feel bad for the guy working there.

I had to find the discount on their website separately because they do not offer to me automatically. I am not happy with the communication and the thermostat replaced. It is a rental property. Unlike other companies I used, I never received a call 30-60 mins before the technician arrived. So I was not sure if he showed up or not. Whenever I called the company, I was talking to the teams handling customer service, not the technician directly. So there is always a middle man between the tech and me to translate information. The diagnosis was on Wednesday. I approved the quote right away after I received it. The repair was the next Thursday 8 days later. The appointment was initially scheduled for the morning between 9-12. I then got a call to say he could not make it on time and would be there around 1pm. I got a tenant message to say he still did not show up at 2:30PM without any call to inform he would be further late. What I am most disappointed is the new thermostat installed during this repair! He replaced my old programmable thermostat with a new FocusPro N100 Non-Programmable Thermostat 1H/1C. When every household is switching to a smart thermostat, he installed an ancient manual controlled thermostat! I would appreciate he could give me some option to select different types of thermostat. I would have no problem to pay for something better or even buy a smart thermostat myself. I called the company to complain about it. All I got was it is fully functional and it is more modern than my old programmable thermostat! I could not be more disappointed about this. Despite they fixed my AC, I do not feel comfortable to use this company again and to recommend it to anyone else if this is not addressed.

David is professional and very respectful of my home. The first thing he did when he arrived was to put on "hospital booties" to protect my rugs. He quickly assessed that the drain pump was not functioning correctly. He gave me a honest quote, and he asked if I wanted to make the repair. After discussing with my wife, we agreed to get the washer repaired. He had the part with him and got to work to replace the part. In addition to making the repair well, he spent time to check that the washer worked after replacing the part and that it did not leak before closing the washer up. He then moved back the washer in place even though I am the one who moved the washer in the first place. He gave me a 1-year warranty on the repair as he used a genuine LG part. He was professional and courteous. I would definitely call Home Pro Appliance again for any appliance problem.

    I cannot recommend this company in good faith. We called…read morethem to repair our refrigerator. The technician who was a nice man simply refilled it with refrigerant (Freon) without adding UV dye or performing a proper diagnostic to identify the source of the leak. The refrigerator worked for only 10 days before it stopped cooling again. When we called back and asked if they could refill it again with dye to actually diagnose the problem, we were told it "wouldn't be worth it because of the age of the fridge." We also asked whether they would consider a partial refund since the repair lasted less than two weeks, but management outright refused. I understand that not every repair is guaranteed to succeed, but I do expect an honest effort to diagnose the problem before charging for what turned out to be a very temporary fix after being told that it will last for 1 year. Unfortunately, we paid for a service that did not resolve the issue, and the company's unwillingness to stand behind its work or offer a fair resolution was very disappointing. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this company !!!

As it turns out, the thermostat needed to be replaced, that's it, a $15 part ( that I bought from him) and I did it myself! This man could have easily came to my house, charged me a million dollars and took me for a ride but he didn't. Just an honest man who helped me out like a friend would and you really don't see that nowadays! I just thought he should be recognized and recommended for that. P.S. My wife was kinda bummed, she was really hoping for a New Fridge! (of course!)
