Useful tool to bunch my cords

I was here for a quick grab after my shopping trip at IKEA. This Home Depot store is tucked behind Specs and other restaurants on feeder road. Parking was plenty. It was hot summer day, over 100 degrees. There are no shaded trees. So, my car endured the Texas solar heat. I was searching for some hand soap. I overheard a man talking about "sugar daddy" and "trip to New Orleans". I turned my head to see what the excitement was about. Ah, he was a grown man wearing The Home Depot apron with a tool branded Tshirt under it. I can only assume he was an employee. Ok. He was obviously on his cell phone and talking through his Bluetooth earbuds. He acted like shopping just like me by looking on the shelves. I was certain sugar daddies are not with soaps, he needs to go to snacks aisle. I hope the management has employee lounge for people to talk on the phone in a space without customers.

Nervous ordering, one person doesn't know how to use the paint mixer, another can't find paint on the computer

This Home Depot is no different than the others, I like it, and it to me is just like Lowe's (except Lowe's has better decor items). What I found is that if they are out if a particular item, the shelf sticker has a six digit sku number. Look at the storage area way above the shelf, and the boxes have sku numbers written on them. This is where they stock the extra merchandise. If you see the sku number on a box stored there, just ask for help and a worker will get the item down for you. It's too high up for me reach by myself.

Shopping at Home Depot is a different experience but still enjoyable. Masks are required for both staff and customers and social distancing is enforced. Other than during hurricane season it's hardly that packed to where you would be within 6 ft of someone else. Was here to pick up some household needs (lighting and bleach). It was hard to find someone to assist me in lighting. I went to another department to ask for help and got the answers I needed. I proceeded to self-checkout needed assistance due to an error at the register and the employee was on his phone slouched over too preoccupied to assist. I literally had to leave my credit card in the machine since it said "do not remove" and go get him since me saying "sir, excuse me" eight times didn't get his attention. Really not a fan of Home Depot, so not sure i will be back.

Closes Early! 12/28 My kids (toddlers) were hot because the AC went out at our house. Rushed over to HD Spring Valley store 9:30pm doors were locked. Needed to buy a AC window unit to keep us over till the central unit is repaired. Manager told me they close at 9:00pm, sign says 10:00pm. I pleaded my case,"to bad" was the response. No thanks for the help.

I went in there looking for the kalamera freezers...unfortunately there was no one available on the floor to help in appliances. I was also looking for someone to answer questions I had about cabinets. After waiting and waiting for around 30 min an employee finally came and asked if I needed help... yes I have a question about appliances!! And custom cabinets... turns out that Rudy was the only one available..she was awesome!! Great customer service!! And answered all my questions. They should hire more people like Rudy!!

Manager was rude and unhelpful. Wouldn't price match their own website price. Took my business elsewhere.

Plus once I saw they were dog friendly I was more than happy to add this to my weekend errand list since she could tag along. We were greeted as we walked in and asked if we needed help. We weren't looking super hard for anything in particular but did mention I'd like to find butterfly pea, but it wasnt something they had. Not surprising and didn't affect the overall experience. Jared is who came over and helped us and explained a bit about how they care for their plants and what services they offer. And even took down my number in the case he hears about how to get that plant. Told us they hold events there, so I'll have to look into it! I did really like how they had a dedicated room for indoor plants, not alot of places have that. I ended up getting a peace lily for $10 and shes still looking great 2 weeks later. We were also given a jug of their moon juice which we've just started using for most of our plants, excited to see if it does really help out. I wasnt quite sure if theyd be OK with my dog being brought into the indoor plant area or the office area where you go to pay but they held the door open for her and gave her her space. So it set a really good impression. This place is definitely where I'd go if I had my own property and want working with a blank/empty space. Compared to other nurseries you'll find much bigger plants/trees here.

I cannot say enough good things about this place!…read more I have a black thumb, meaning I kill every plant type thing, just by being in the vicinity. Maybe I look at them the wrong way? Either way, plants don't like me. Much to my sadness! I received a peace lily when my aunt passed and for many sentimental reasons I am dead set on keeping this one alive. It's been hard, and I've tried everything mentioned online- changing the location, repotting, giving water daily, giving water once a week, etc. Nothing worked! Finally a friend mentioned this place, and how you can take your plants there, and they'll provide TLC and I figured what the heck! But TLC is the bare minimum, they do so much more! They drilled a hole into my pot for better drainage, changed the soil, added fertilizer, and some rocks on top for better protection. I feel like now I have a fighting chance for my plant. I didn't even know this was a service that any place provided. I felt so looked after and taken care of. Everyone here is so kind to boot, and it's a beautiful nursery with so much parking. I spotted some Silver Falls for around $2.50, which wasn't a bad deal, though most of the plants tend to be on the higher end. Still, the quality and atmosphere are hard to beat. I remember that day not finding what I needed and remembering having driven through this little Korean area a while back in Spring Branch and figured I'd give it a shot. Fast forward to today: I've been coming to Cedar Tree for years. They're a great part of Spring Branch's Korean area and are some of the nicest people you'd ever meet. I can't tell you the last time I went to Beechnut at the Beltway. This part of town is W-A-Y better. Cedar Tree has a wide array of household goods from Asia - primarily Korea - and they're my go-to place for quite a few items. On the right side of the store is a cosmetics counter with a wide array of cosmetics of Asian origin geared toward the ladies. This isn't the stuff you'd find at the counter at Macy's...this is the real deal Asian cosmetics. The rest of the store is dedicated to kitchen and housewares and, in their small space, cram some of the best selection of Asian appliances you'll ever find. This is where I focus my attention. They have a massive selection of high quality rice cookers, water heaters, noodle cookers, and all manner of Asian kitchen appliances. If you're looking for the good stuff, you've found it. They also have a whole aisle of kitchen utensils from Asia as well as plates, cups, and all kinds of stuff. They even sell the Japanese electronic toilet seats! They have everything you'd need to do a full Korean makeover on your household. I've been sending people here for many years and they always take good care of people. The owners (husband/wife) are on site, they speak English very well, and are warm and inviting! You won't be sorry you tried this place!
