Our water heater broke on tuesday night. It was purchased in 2020. We purchased our home in 2021. The warranty does not transfer over to the next owner. But we didn't know that, until the third call to Rheem. I am letting you, the consumers, know that Rheem water heaters have a six year warranty, but it does not transfer over to the next owner. I don't know why we were given the wrong information by Rheem. After several calls to Rheem, including one from a nice man with The Cooling Company, hubby was told to come to the Home Depot Pro Desk at this location, which is near our home. Wrong. Our Plumber and hubby were expecting to turn in the old one for a new one, under the warranty. They said to go to the one across from Springs Preserve. Well, that one closed at 5 pm. This was wednesday, so no hot water. Yesterday, thursday morning, he called that location, but no, they said they do not deal with Residential, only Commercial. And then another call to Rheem revealed that the warranty does not transfer over to the new owner. So, we had to get a new one, but this location didn't have the one we needed. So, they had to go to the Arroyo/215/ Rainbow location. Yesterday morning, it was handled by our Plumber. read more

I only buy plants and garden stuff here, not a DIY'er! I sometimes find better plants here than the nurseries so I shop at both. The indoor house plants are the best! I like to buy the nice potted plants as birthday gifts. They're gorgeous with the white rocks. Other plant selections I like to buy are the French Lavender, Thai Basil Bonnie plant brand, Queen Victoria Agave plant, and other herbs! The plant selection is easy here and the flowers are beautiful. The workers are able to help you if you can't find something. Price wise it's fairly decent and not expensive. read more

He walked me to the wood glue he then stated to come back and he would show us the zip ties and then the bubble wrap !!! He walked us thru buying the box to move our TV and showed us all the types of bubble wrap ! This guy is extremely impressive ! Home Depot has become my favorite place for seasonal decorations. I keep buying things I don't need but I do love decorating my house and getting into the spirit. Aside from decorations, I have also purchased appliances, paint, flowers, and DIY accessories. This store has a few really great staff members who are always ready to assist and answer questions. The friendliest Home Depot I have ever been to. I have nothing bad to say. I went in looking for a toilet with install. Michael ran into me and asked if I need help. He was very informative about the different options. He took the time to explain that if I bought the one I originally wanted, replacement parts would be more difficult to find and I would need to find a plumbing store for those specialty parts. He helped me find a good model and walked all the way the way to the front and explained everything to the cashier. So friendly, too. We laughed the whole way. Caren was the cashier and was lovely. There was a small issue ringing up my order and setting up install. She called Rachel over and they found a way to make it work in a way that benefited me quite a bit more than I would have ever expected. These ladies were stellar in taking care of me and making sure there were zero issues. Such wonderful service. I also watched about a half dozen different employees greet every guest that walked in the door. That was surprising. They also had several regulars that they acknowledged as well. It makes me think that warm and friendly service I was seeing here was not the exception, but the norm. Honestly, this was such a great experience. No one enjoys toilet shopping. But these guys made it so seamless, painless, and simple. I can't believe I'm sitting in my car, in the parking lot, finished with this dreaded errand, having the time to write this review. I ordered 6 chairs from you guys, one chair is broken when it arrived. I called you guys multiple times NO ONE wants to help me. Spoke to different agent and this are the responses I got. 1st agent 1.) Carry the all the 6 chairs to the store and get your refund. (Im a woman and there's a reason why I ordered online so I don't have to carry and it gets delivered to my house. Spoke to 2nd agent, She said, I apologize for everything we will make you are well taken care off, we will refund you the full amount and deliver you the one chair and then phone cut off never heard from that person again. 3rd agent, tells me the same as the first agent so now I ask for the mananger. The worst customer service on the planet. Tina, who is at the returns desk, is actually awful. She kept saying what's your story, trying to insinuate that I was lying? I wanted to make an exchange and she repeated well you're not going to get your money back. I never wanted it back .... The item I bought was defective and I just wanted an exchange. She said I was trying to return old products. Had me pulling up texts with my plumber, the receipt for the plumber payment and I even called the plumber because she insisted I was trying to exchange used product even though I only had it installed for 20 minutes. A straight up return police but you bet she switched her tone when the manager came. Just go to Lowe's. It's 5 minutes away and they don't make you feel like a criminal for exchanging faulty merchandise. read more

This place has the friendliest employees. As a single female who has to learn how to repair everything by watching YouTube videos, I find myself at Home Depot. A lot! Every single time I go in there, I get the most amazing help from every department. There is one specific man, with a slight beard, who is an absolute gem. He takes the time to explain how to use everything, and even suggests better ideas. He cut me a piece of wood from some scrap he had and didn't even charge me for it. Then he proceeded to show me how to use another product that I was unfamiliar with, and spent a good amount of time with me. My wife ordered a twin bed from Home Depot online. It has been delivered for some time in our house and yesterday I opened up the box and I've seen mold covered on all the wood pieces. I tried to exchange it but I was told no, because my wife was the one who bought it but due to her being in over seas, she can not repurchase it in person. Definitely wasn't looking to end 2024 with a bad review but the universe wanted one last hoorah before a new year new review. Came to Home Depot on a last minute hunt for security cameras. Online it stated that they had two in stock of what we needed. Upon entering there was a group of 3 cashiers- not one greeted or made eye contact. We then headed towards the cameras to find that the one we needed wasn't listed. I went on the hunt for an employee and from aisle 2-15- not one in site. NOT ONE. We finally came across someone in the tile area who called down to aisle 6 where the worker appeared like Christmas magic out of thin air. After hiking it over to him he advised that we had to go to the very front of the store to view what was in stock (super annoying). We hiked our way over there to be greeted by a new cashier who had no clue what was going on. He looked around confused as we asked 3 times from or the camera we needed and finally just grabbed it ourselves. Oh but you thought that was the end- nope- on the hunt for concrete screws we came across another individual who had no idea what we needed. You could tell he was googling what we were talking about before jelly fishing his way around the corner and out of our lives without even a careless whisper. We located the screws ourselves and made our way out but the experience was frustrating and less than epic. Looks like lots of young uneducated kids but CS is for sure lacking. I had to order a generator on line to have it ship to a Las Vegas address because I couldn't buy it here in California the address were I will be working is around the corner from this store anyway I ordered it November 29th they tell me it will arrive December 12th around 7am to 7 pm well I get my email saying it ship out of Paris California which is an hour away from my house in California. So I look on the tracking and it's still in route . So I call customer service and I get this rude lady on the phone didn't want to offer any help what so ever so we hang up and I decided I don't gotta put up with their bullshit . So I call and make a complaint all that did was lower the price a hundred dollars . So the person I spoke to guaranteed I would be the first delivery Friday morning it gets better it hasn't been delivered so I called again and I get a sad story how the driver had issues on his truck so I tell them that's bullshit I've heard all the lies from these cheap delivery trucks . So now they tell me it's coming Saturday. This would have never happened if they use a reputable union delivery service. Never again will I buy from this place. I should have search. A local mom and pop shop . I've lost two days of pay waiting on this delivery. What a let down Home Depot was . Very unsatisfied customer. read more

My curbside P/U experience was not good this time. The clerk who brought my items to my vehicle was not courteous at all. No greeting. He just stared at me, and rudely asked if I had my I.D. I felt like I had been pulled over by the PoPo! First of all, when you do a curbside P/U, you have to do it thru the App. There is an order # and vehicle description attached to it. I pick up often so mine is a saved template. No need for ID ask, but it would've been well received with a greeting and if I knew it was for my protection as a customer. That wasn't the case with him. It definitely felt racial and disturbingly cold. (George Zimmerman-ish vibes). I let him know that no one has ever asked for my ID at that location, but I presented it anyway. I was tired and wanted to go home... However, I will be reiterating this to the store mgr, when I go P/U the remainder of my order next week. read more

Yelp 100 Challenge 2018 - #81 Thank you Ashley for helping me pick the right colors for my painting projects. I was a little hesitant about picking out paint, but you make it super easy. If this my first time buying paint without the help of my parents and Ashely make it a breeze. I showed her the colors that I wanted and she gladly explained in detail the difference. The painting area was pretty busy when I visited but it took no time to get all the things I needed. I even returned later in the day to get an extra gall just in case and it was super easy. Store: The store is clean and organized and everything is labeled. There are plenty of check out counters with a vip counter as well as self-check out. I did have one bad experience with the women in the V.IP checkout area. She was a little snobby and rude, but Ashley's remarkable customer service trumped the V.I.P women. read more

I called to reserve a truck because we're moving this weekend. I was relying on that truck for a whole bunch of moving parts. The gentleman on the phone told me that he would reserve the truck for me and I told him I would leave my house right away. As soon as I got there, they told me that the truck was no longer available for rent and that, they didn't have any other trucks available for the weekend. The gentleman did not offer to help me look for a nearby Home Depot that had a truck. Instead, they were extraordinarily rude act like I was bothering them and when someone tell you, they're gonna put something on hold and you Uber to the location so that you can pick up the truck successfully. It ruins a lot of moving parts. I hate to complain, but I would not trust this Home Depot or word, as it is already cost me over $70 in Ubers just to get here to find out that the customer service here was extremely rude and then I was put out for not only the weekend but I'm extremely upset and I would not recommend this Home Depot. read more

" in the wood department and called to him from down the aisle. I asked him "How his day was?" To which he replied "Don't worry about it, what can I help you with?" We went to this HD to look for a vanity for our bathroom remodel. We got very lucky and had Michael help us who was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. He answered all our questions (and we had quite a few) and explained how everything worked. We've been to both Lowe's and other HD locations so we know finding helpful people is not easy.
