This Home Depot has a great outdoor gardening center! I purchase here all the time. I like to garden & grow all kinds of herbs for cooking & for medicine so I'm planting constantly. I always find something here I LOVE. I bought a beautiful palm tree here that is now up to 3 thriving giant palm trees. I also bought a lime tree here & it's my absolutely favorite in my tropical garden. It's doing so well I'm going to start farming limes. The Chinese jasmine I bought is doing beautifully! I can't wait to make my own pure organic jasmine essential oil when I gather all the blooms this spring. Everything is doing exceptionally well, very happy with all my plant purchases. Plus there is always someone in the garden center to help load mulch, dirt, mushroom compost etc.. Inside is very small. Which is good bc there are never too many people shopping here but we can never find anything we need inside as the inventory is limited. We are now looking for a new refrigerator & HD here only had one in the size we want & it was not the style I like. For comparison, Lowe's had 3 styles in the size I'm looking for but again, not the style I need. Garden center is fabulous, small indoor area, inventory is limited but never crowded. Curbside pickup is straight ass & a total joke at THIS location. I placed my order and after 5 hours nothing. No email or text saying it's ready which I thought was strange because when I do curbside at other locations, my order is ready within 30 minutes or an hour. I called and a nice associate informed me that NO ONE had shopped for my order. After 5 hours NO ONE did their job. She tried to get, I guess whoever is supposed to do online orders/curbside but she said she couldn't get anyone so she did it herself & personally called me back once it was complete. As I type this I'm waiting for someone to "bring my order out." Its been at least 10 minutes now. Let's see how long this is going to take. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

my husband and I went here for a few things. We live in Bossier City Louisiana and just bought a vacation home in Perdidio Key. I will tell you they where super friendly every employee we encountered was so nice. we will literally drive out of our way to go to this Home Depot that is what a Great impression they made on us. Twice I've been here and had to walk out after waiting 20+ minutes in line. They have no body working the registers and there is no way to "pay" for the items. My guess is this is why they lock up everything now, because there is no way to pay for the items since there are no registers. I hope that they figure this out, fire the manager and clean house here because there is no way I will EVER do business at this store. Wait, there is no way I CAN do business at this store because no one works there. I can't really say this is poor customer service because there is NO customer service. read more

THE WORST Home Depot I have ever shopped with. We ordered and paid in full for in stock appliances first week of January, 2022 for delivery today 2/26/2022 and they gave them to another customer. NO CALL, NO COMMUNICATION, NO FOLLOW UP, and no reschedule information on order. DO NOT SHOP HERE - manager, staff and customer service NOT HELPFUL at all and RUDE. Home Depot should be embarrassed, if you shop here be prepared to be treated badly, get frustrated and receive poor customer service and potentially no merchandise after paying. read more

I have purchased straw for my flower beds for many years and this year I purchased the "rolls" as the bales are not available. Well, I am 63 and fit but these rolls were very difficult to put in the beds. The straw was very dirty! Had huge pieces of wood in them and huge pine cones. I would NEVER recommend these rolls to a DIY older women because they are terrible to work with. I called the store manager who offered to have them picked up (she was very nice) she said we could re-sale these, but my point is this is very "dirty straw" and for $10/roll I expect a better product. I asked that they contact the distributor to notify them. I will continue to be a customer at the Davis Hwy Home Depot because they have always offered good service and products to me, a single women but no more straw rolls!! read more

Purchased over 100 bucks worth of pottery pots for my garden. Asked for some scrap cardboard from 2 store employees with nothing better to do. Wanted to protect the color finishes. No help offered at all, geez even frugal Amish stores with give you scrap cardboard! Terrible customer service. read more

Went on a Saturday afternoon and the place was a ghost town. Very strange. The lack of a crowd may be due to this store being in an inconvenient location. You almost take your life in your own hands getting into and out of the parking lot...I keed you not. Davis Highway is a pretty busy road. I saw two employees during the 45 minutes that we stood in the shelving aisle, plotting a strategy and weighing our options. We didn't need any help, but it would have been reassuring to know that somebody was around to provide some, just in case. read more

We purchased a refrigerator a month ago, and it was due to be delivered 4 to 8 today. After removing the food and taking the items off the lazy susan to turn the water off to the ice maker, we got a call at six saying that it could not be delivered today. So if you plan to buy an appliance from Home Depot, check who they are using to deliver their items. This is only a Home Depot problem because of who they have hired to deliver their items. PS they can not deliver it for 2 days. read more

Less than half of the employees are wearing masks, including some employees that are coming in close contact with customers. After a bad experience at the store on Nine Mile Road we decided to give this location a try. Bad move. Something set off a fraud alert on my Home Depot credit card and we were left standing at the register for almost an hour. Picture ID's apparently were not sufficient to prove identity. No matter what questions they asked we were unable to satisfy them. Finally, I said that I would just put my purchase on my Discover card. "Oh, you have a Discover card? Show it to the clerk." Then they let me use my Home Depot card. So 2 picture ID's and a host of personal questions were not sufficient to verify identity, but a Discover card could do it. Citibank issues the Home Depot card. I will be paying off my account and shopping at Lowes in the future. read more

I practically live here. I have a fixer upper home and yard so it's non stop trips to Home Depot. A very friendly staff will help you no matter how limited your tool vocabulary may be. I start many sentences in here with "I'm looking for a tool (board, fixture, nail etc....) that will do this, do you have something like that" and low and behold they always do. read more

Do not use their rental fleet. Second bad experience and there will not be a third. Also note if you do use them make sure you check the equipment and the cords, if not they'll charge you for somebody else's damage. I highly suggest not using this location. After looking at a set of patio furniture, we had a young lady Miranda that gave us excellent customer service! Went there to by a microwave that was on sale. Come to find out that you can't buy any above range microwave under $369 w/o getting a $60 delivery fee, no matter if you're picking it up in store or not. So the $178 unit is really a $238 bait and switch! I left and went to Lowes who had the same micro, better price, and no "secret" fees. read more

Just tried to buy an Echo 590 chainsaw at this store. Had a coupon which gave me financing for 12 months on any purchase over $299. The cashier told me that the coupon expired yesterday. She didn't offer any options, except to put the chainsaw back for me. Horrible customer service. They would rather give up a $350 sale than accept a coupon that is 1 day out. read more

A few months ago i thought i completely ruined a piece of my favorite furniture doing a DIY product. Basically I ended up getting paint on some of the glass . I asked around , did many Google and YouTube searches , and even checked out Lowes because it's close to my house . All were either no help or a big fail ! So this past weekend I decided to give it one last go & try Home Depot & was assisted by Rieshia. She was super sweet & did not make it seem like I was bothering her. She was very knowledgeable & the product she recommended to me made it so easy to remove the paint from the glass . I definitely wish there were more people like her , Home Depot is lucky to have an employee with such knowledge & great customer service skills ! read more

I bought a really expensive Honda lawnmower in this store a few months ago. It was surging and the carburetor just needed a minor adjustment I took it in to the store because I just bought it and it's under warranty. They told me to take it to tool rental that they fix them in the store. When I get to tool rental there's 3 guys standing there doing absolutely nothing and they give me this nonsense about leave it with them for 2 to 3 weeks and argued with me about it. They even acknowledged that it'd only take about 5 minutes to do instead they argued with me about it for about 30 minutes instead of just taking 5 minutes to fix my mower so I could go home and finish mowing my lawn. The people working there are all a bunch of lazy idiots. Corporate needs to go in that store and clean house including the manager Mark that they called over when I asked for a manager. Thanks for nothing Home Depot I'll just go to Lowes next time. read more
