Where do I begin... Fiance and I are redoing our entire house so we put a bid in (I think that's what its called) to see if we could get any kind of deal. 1. After making an order of $6k + my fiance and I decided we would take advantage of 12 month interest free Home Depot card. Seeing that we just put in the order 2 hours prior, we did not think it would be a big deal. We called Leslie and she said she would leave a note for the manager to take care of it and the manager would call us as soon as it had been done. Two days later, with no call we decided to go down there to make sure everything had been transferred over to the card okay. Come to find out the manage had never changed the payment type! Then he went on to tell us that because it had past the 24 hr window we would have to pay a 20% restocking fee for items we had not even received!! HD you're kidding me right!?! Then the manager attempted to blame our associate Leslie which ticked us off even more! She is seriously the only helpful employee IN that store! After back and forth with multiple managers they "waived" the restocking fee for their screw up. How nice of them. 2. We received a call to come pick up our custom order Hampton Bay cabinets. So we pick them up and take them home, excited to finally see them. When we get home to unwrap not only is there one messed up cabinet but MULTIPLE cabinets with scuff marks and peeling paint. The under the sink cabinets didn't even close! We took the cabinets back and the manager attempts to tell us that he cannot issue a refund until the Hampton Bay associate comes back which wasnt for another 4 days. HD Come on!!!! After arguing with the manager for a good half an hour another manager comes in and tells him to just refund our money. 3. Being that we put in a bid we called HD the day before we were going to pick up to make sure everything was pulled from the shelves. We explained that everything needed to be ready to go because we were having people come in the morning to help us. They agreed that everything would be ready by 8:00 am the next morning for our pick up. We got there at 7:30 and no one had any CLUE about our order. After waiting about 30 min they still couldnt find some of our stuff. We went in to have them refund the items they didnt give us. So done with this Home Depot. Will never come here again. If you have to work with anyone, work with Leslie. She is the only employee here that actually gives a crap! read more

Worst customer service ever!!! I'm extremely disappointed. I usually shop here for many things but today was a day I really needed the customer and they failed! I needed help to carry bags of mulch and couldn't find anyone I did it myself until I found someone to help. Then they took about 30mins to have someone take it to my car and still no one showed up! So I went all over the garden area to find help and ran into Charles who is deaf by the way and he was sooo kind to help me bring it to my car. After 45mins of waiting for help. If I wasn't PREGNANT I wouldn't have asked for help. This is the last time I spend my money there. The ONE star is only because of CHARLES thank you guy for helping me out. read more

I didn't even need to ask! Genuinely friendly and easy to talk to not in a rush, she scanned my plants and asked if I needed plastic for my car. I wish everybody was this friendly and helpful! What curbside pick up??? They don't answer their phone. The app does not work. The wrong product is brought out. Limiting time to pick up your order. If you want to wait 45 minutes to have them bring out the wrong thing in your order in the heat of the day, go for it. Home Depot is more expensive then Lowe's too. I bought pvc pipe that was 10 feet long, so I came here as it is closer to my home. What a mistake! They don't know what schedule 40 is, or the difference between 1/2" and 3/4" pipe, or slip vs. threaded fittings, etc. This store needs help! read more

I was there this morning 6/15/21 at 8:25 AM. I purchased almost 100 sq/ yard of turf. I asked Brenda at the customer service , for assistance loading the turf onto our truck. She called for help but said no one was answering the phone. As I sat waiting patiently for her to get someone to help us. The customer service staff sat around on their cell phones chatting. The guy that cut the turf for us knew we needed help too and just tried to find someone else to help us instead of doing it himself. Corey, was the only one who came to help us. But, I didn't want him to try lifting it on his own since it's a two man job and asked if there was anyone else that could help him. Ultimately another customer ended up helping out since no other staff could do so. This is my first time being at this location. Usually, I shop at the Corona location. Poor customer service, no one wants to work and try's to look busy just walking around. No wonder this location only has 2 stars. read more

I ordered a product online and home depot charged me not once, bit twice for it and even still, I never received it. I called to ask for a refund and the manager on duty, Mario, denied me a refund stating he did not know where the,produt was and could not issue a refund. He also refused to let me speak to his boss and told me to call their customer service line for any further issues. If you are concerned about Covid-19 at all I would seriously avoid this place. At least 4 of the employees weren't wearing masks and they crowd the aisles with so much crap that you can't move past people without basically brushing against them. The line system is a mess and the man who was directing traffic was forcing people to pass right next to the line to pay, and was so bad at his job he kept trying to separate obvious couples and almost hit a woman in the face trying to get her to stop after letting her husband pass. It was so crowded that there is no way they are complying with protocols. I won't ever be going back to this store. read more

This is the most convenient home depot to me and I have always been okay finding things, even asking for help or purchasing items. However, I usually go through the self-checkout and buy 1-2 items. Well there's a reason why this place has a 2 star rating. I went there today to purchase some shingles to reroof my house because a friend of mine sent me a picture of 20% select shingles. Upon arrival in the roofing materials section I found no one in sight, and went for a walk to the front to find Albert who works in the tool rental department. Albert was as helpful as he could be but unfortunately he was unable to get us the help we needed. We waited for nearly 20 minutes and Albert came back to check on me but still no one came. This was not the only instance of poor customer service, we were being helped by Mike in the doors and windows department who was very helpful but when we had questions he couldn't answer he introduced us to a so called specialist. We sat down and waited for her to clean her work station when another customer came right up to her and started talking. They obviously knew each other and basically forgot about us and started working with her acquaintance. Needless to say we became invisible and no longer there. So we're taking our business elsewhere. On a side note if you know what your looking for and don't need customer service then this is your place. read more

I would like to start by saying that if I could give zero stars I would have. The Riverside Home Depot store, employees and Manager Mario are a joke. I place an online order for building materials for express deliver on 5/15, to be delivered on 5/21 to my home. On the evening on 5/20 the riverside store push me order off to another store due to what they claimed to be inventory issues. This changed my delivery date to 5/27, They never called me or informed me of the change and if I had not called the evening of 5/20 I would not have know and would have been waiting for my delivery on 5/21. The store associate I dealt with acted like she care but in the long run she did not. I called back at 7:30am on 5/21 and spoke with Manager Mario, informed him that i wanted to pick up the inventory as a will call as I need it, I also informed him that I would need a home depot truck. He told me that he couldn't hold a truck but would do his best. I told him I would be at the store around 4pm on 5/21, he told me to call at 2pm and he would make sure they held a truck. He also told me that he would give me a discount to cover the truck rental. At this point I thought everything was set. About midday I received another call from and associate form the riverside Home depot telling me that they did not have all the inventory and that it was being filled by the Eastville Home depot. I informed the associate that I had not problem picking up at the Eastville Home depot as long as I was able to use a rental truck. The associate told me they would get it arranged and would call me back. I never received a call back from the riverside Home depot. I call again and spoke to a new associate that told me they could not help and that I need to call the Eastville home depot. I told the associate that I need to speak with Manager Mario, she told me he was in a meeting. I told her I need him to call me back ASAP. He never called me. After spending all day working with the Riverside Home depot I had made no progress and they had not helped me any with the order they pushed to another Home depot at the last minute. I have always found that the home depot associates as a whole have been willing to help me as a customer regardless of where the order is being fulfilled. I am extremely disappointed with there lack of help and the run around they gave me. They could have at least told me in the morning they were not going to help me and just give me the run around so I could have worked directly with the Eastville Home depot from the beginning and not wasted my time. Also the Manager Mario needs to be spoken to about the importance of follow up and how he has a responsibility to help the customers. At least have the common courtesy to call back and talk to me. Eastville Home Depot took care of me with one phone call and went above and beyond to ensure that I was able to get all of my order yesterday. Today my sister and I went to Home Depot to look at small freezer, and a very nice lady in flooring came and ask if we needed help. She introduced us and said her name was Catherine.. I think she was the nicest person that ever helped me not only did she help but she even walked me to my car to check if the guys loaded the freezer, but sadly the freezer wouldn't fit in my car so Catherine went to talk with her boss to see if they could deliver it for us. My elderly parent orders garden hoses to be delivered by OnTrac. We follow the tracking daily and see it is delayed. This goes on for several days then we get a notification the item is delivered only it never was. Not only were we outside when this delivery supposedly happened but our security cameras show it didn't happen. I call OnTrac and they said the package was lost and to call Home Depot so they can file a claim and she could get our money back. Home Depot refuses to refund my mother because it was marked "delivered". They won't contact OnTrac at all or file any claim. They make it out to be possibly stolen after delivery when it was never delivered. How can you not take it any further? Do you not insure your orders? As I'm reading I see OnTrac does this a lot. Stop using them. $117 taken from an elderly person is shameful. No help at all. Make your purchase in store because they will not help you if your delivery never makes it. read more

After spending $1000 on carpet and extra for them to come out to measure. The only request I wanted was to leave a 4x4 space of tile left open at the front door. I wasn't present at the time of install and they laid the carpet over it. I'm usually not one to complain and cause people to do more work, but spending all that money, it should be the way agreed upon. So when I contacted the installer they told me their diagram did not have that area to not be covered and I would be charged an additional fee for them to come back. So I contact Home Depot and after being on hold for 30 minutes I finally speak to someone and am told I will get a call back after they talk to their manager. No call back. So I call the next day and the same thing, the manager isn't available. I finally go down there and am given the run around and excuses, that I will be charged the extra fee. After arguing for another 30 mins they finally end it by saying fine we'll do it, have a nice day. So they came out this morning and cut the space, and I didn't know that the tacking strips are nailed down on the tile. And it was never mentioned that there would now be numerous holes visible. And they didn't even cut it 4X4! They made the mistake and it should have been fixed no questions asked.. read more

This Home Depot is the largest in the area with the most available inventory. I do think that they could use more employee's vs having 5 Home Depots in a 10 mile radius because finding help is often semi-difficult. However, the best way to get help is to become a target by attempting to utilize employee only tools and/or powering on machines such as leaf blowers, key making machine (mashing down several buttons), industrial saw. If you really need help quick, the forklift will get plenty of attention. read more

Just left Home Depot after having a rude encounter with one of their managers. Went in to purchase a new washer and dryer, after looking around on my own for a while and not being approached by anybody I decided to walk up and ask someone about the discounts they were offering throughout the store. While speaking with work and a manager, he told me any discounts they had were no more than 10% had already applied to the prices on the appliances and they didn't offer anything else. After telling him what I was looking for he proceeded only to tell me that any discounts were at managers discretion and not applied to everybody and never bothered to get up out of his seat or offered to help me find anything that I was looking for. He and the other sales associate he was speaking to then looked at each other like I was bothering them and continued with their conversation. If you are looking for help with choosing any new appliances don't go to this location! They are rude and would rather talk to each other then help a customer find what they're looking for. read more
