Absolutely terrible customer service. I came in ready to buy a refrigerator that was stored on the top rack, but I couldn't even get someone to bring it down. I asked six different employees for help. Every one of them said they would call someone, yet no one ever showed up. After waiting for over an hour, I went back to ask again, and one of the same employees told me the person who was supposed to help was on lunch. If that's true, why couldn't anyone else in the store help? There were plenty of employees walking around, but not one of them stepped up to assist. I wasted over an hour of my time and ended up leaving without making the purchase. It's unbelievable that a customer who's ready to spend money can't get basic assistance. This level of customer service is unacceptable, and I won't be returning to this location unless they seriously improve how they treat customers. read more

I did a pick up order for an item I was having trouble locating at other Home Depot stores. This store was further away from me so I decided to order it online. To make sure they had it available. I got the email it was completed. I drove to pick it up once they tried to give me the item. It was completely the wrong one, I ordered a white door seal. They packed a dark brown door seal. It took them close to 8 mins to try to resolve my issue. Sadly they were unable too. If they didn't have the correct one they could have call and ask if I was ok to substitute or cancel my order to begin with. Their customer service sucks. I purchased a dryer with the pedestal they tomd he i could have the dryer out on the pedestal for free I said ok I didnt want installation. When they got here with the dryer the guy refused to put the dryer on the pedestal so I told them to take it back. I called home depot they said they only put the dryer on the pedestal if I was getting it installed I said no I wasnt but that is not what the guy said. So home depot said they would eat the installation cost cause of the miscommunication I said thank you. They put to deliver it friday and someone would let me know Thursday the time frame when it would be delivered friday. When i called they didnt know anything they said my time frame is all day. I said you expecte me to wait all day for the dryer. I will never purchas any items from this home depot again or maybe any home depot. read more

Who doesn't love The Home Depot? When I was very little, I loved sitting in the basket while my mom pushed me around the warehouse. Loved their old stick figure commercials in the 90's. And now I'm still shopping here. I'm so glad they have Rug Doctor carpet cleaning rentals. I couldn't find it anywhere else even though the RD website showed different stores that should have had them. Horrible customer service. Lets start off with saying I'll take accountability in saying that I was not in line as I seen a man with the orange cart on the side where there is an opening to register at the return/ pick up area. I am 8 months pregnant, work 10 hr shifts and I stood waiting patiently for my turn. Young lady at the register right across from where I was standing looked my way not once but twice did not say a thing to me. Until I asked if the line was actually on the other side as I seen her call couple up. I was bothered by that because not once did she inform or even CARE to say ma'am do you have a question or ma'am the line will be here. Being 8 months pregnant and standing for a few minutes is like standing for 1-2 hrs if you know you know. Legs were even shaking. She finishes with the couple calls me and I'm still upset I confronted her because I just think that was horrible customer service I get your at your register but customer service is part of your job. She simply said oh I'm sorry I did not see you. Very confused on how she didn't see an 8 month pregnant woman dressed in all black in a well lit store surrounded by bright colors and greenery. I made a comment stating I see you must not have your glasses on I see. (DID NOT USE PROFANITY) She refused to service me. At this point this is when I used profanity. She left the register I waited a little while then I went up front upset still and asked for someone to go help as there was now a line of a few other customers. Waited again, then 2 workers show up. The tough looking woman with glasses informed me the young lady did not help me because I called her the b word. I corrected her and stated no she did not help me because I called her out her lie and made a comment. I used profanity after she refused service. Then the tough looking woman said well we're not going to use that language here understood even offered to apologize to employee. Showed my email to her and she asked for my id in which I had left my purse in the car. At this point I'm extremely upset because I could've just bought the items instead of all this!!!! Horrible customer service. Home Depot please hire people that have empathy and compassion instead of workers that couldn't care less and make customers more upset instead of deescalating the situation. Just unbelievable. Don't buy any gift cards from here. I bought a $25 gift card for Bath and Body Works and the cashier charged me state sales tax on a gift card. Gift cards are exempt from sales tax. I asked the cashier and manager why I was being charged sales tax on a gift card and they said they had no clue but I couldn't get a refund because it was a gift card. Sept 22/2024 Jenny at Home Depot working the front end was not checking on a register rude fail to sell ring products to me her approach was so unprofessional I asked if she had a white ring flood light camera that was in a locked cage behind her she said well if you don't see it here we don't have it I ask can you check the back see if you have one in stock .she said you need to go find someone on the floor to help you . I said you're here not helping anyone why can't you help me ? Then she said well go stand in line and someone will help you . Today, our dad Roland gets to go home from the rehab hospital, exactly 5 weeks after experiencing stroke symptoms in the parking lot of this Home Depot (695 E. Hospitality Lane, S. Bernardino, CA). He stumbled and fell down while trying to get into his car parked in the Veterans' parking space. But security guard Tony Houston, Home Depot employees Linda Perez, Denise, Jessica, Ever and managers Damian Filiberto and Michael Martinez as well as an anonymous Home Depot customer stepped in quickly and took care of him until the ambulance arrived (within 10 minutes). Thanks to their quick and caring acts, our 90 years old dad received timely treatment and has minimal sequelae from the stroke. Today, he is talking like himself again and walked out of the car and into his home with little help.
