I only shop at this location even though the one on Old Fort is closer. I love the rewards card and the cents off gas too. Every time I go in there i never have to look for an associate to help me, they are knowledgeable and friendly. Whether I am making a big purchase or a small purchase I always leave there knowing they appreciate my business. Only thing I don't like is their people who walk the aisles and try to get you to let someone in to you home to redecorate you home...Annoying! If I want to someone to come to my home I will ask, but thanks. They dont hassle you, once you say no thank you they just tell you to have a nice day but still, if i see them I turn down another aisle quickly lol. Their prices are usually lower than Lowes, and even though Lowes price matches by 10%, their customer service is not worth the 10% savings, at least not in my experiences with Lowes. BAIT and SWITCH! The manager of this Home Depot should be reprimanded or fired. As you can see from the photo, they have marked this refrigerator in the store as a clearance item. When we asked for the price, he said it wasn't a clearance item and he would just 'knock some' off the price because of the massive scratches and damage to the front doors and drawer. Terrible!!! Did you know that this store contracts out its appliance deliveries? Did you know that even if that company doesn't follow the rules and it actually tries to deliver your appliance to the wrong address, they won't turn around and deliver your stuff to the right place? August 2022 told Home Depot associate in carpet I was needing 2 rooms measured for carpet and how that worked. Told me it was a $35.00 charge for as many rooms as I wanted measured. So I scheduled an appointment and while I was waiting for them to come, I looked at many carpet samples and did not care for any of them. after they measured I went in and ask for a copy of my measurements and the associate told me they couldn't give them to me because of a contract they have!!!!Now why did they not tell me that in the beginning!!! I felt like they left that part out on purpose. No one told me that I was paying $35.00 for measurements and could not have them if I wanted them. I guess I feel like because I paid for them they are mine anyway!!!! They may have my $35.00 but will not get another penny from me. read more

I needed bagged soil and was shopping in the garden center on 5/8/22 (Mothers Day). While reviewing the choices available I saw garden soil 5 for $10. Got 5, as well a few other items then went to check out. The cashier said the sale ended last week, to which I indicated the sale sign which was large (about 18x18) was still up and should be honored. I took a sales associate back to see the sign. He had taken it down & thrown it into a shopping cart since I had gotten my bags of soil. I said if it was up when I got them they needed to honor it, he said no he could not do that. I went back to check out and said then take the soil out of my cart I don't want it, but if the sign was up it should be honored. Another customer at the next checkout had several bags of the garden soil because she saw the same sign and became upset as well. I will no longer shop at this Home Depot after being a customer for many years, instead taking my business to Lowes across the street. read more

Took 5 weeks to deliver a refrigerator!! When I was told 3-5 days. Multiple excuses and just horrible experience. Home Depot uses another company to do the deliveries. The company they use is UNPROFESSIONAL and would NOT RECOMMEND them in anyone's home! Customers deserve better. read more

Jo-Jo the cashier working didn't want to take my coupons I had for monster because they didn't sell the 4-pack I got the coupon from. They have the WORST customer service. I asked for help 4 times, I waited over 35 minutes for someone to come. I had to finally go up the customer service and tell them to pass along the message that I will NEVER be back and I'm going across the street to Lowe's. I came in the store today and I am very displeased with the customer service. Most places greet their customers at some point during their shopping experience. Not only did I not have any interaction whatsoever with a staff member as a guest, I actually had to excuse myself just to walk by two employees who were talking to one another. Even then neither one of them acknowledged my existence. It's a shame. Smh. I really do not care if people talk to me or show some type of customer service skills. But they are worse than what you would expect. I wasn't even greeted by the checkout people or told farewell. Smh. I'll just go to Lowe's. I came to this Home Depot with a positive attitude as I have never had a bad experience in a Home Depot ever. I went to the pro desk to get a package order for a project I am working on. Daryl hooked me up with what I asked for for the most part but there were a few questionable things on the electrical side of my order. 14-2 wire and almost 1000 ft of it when I was specific about 20amp breakers. No big deal I figured I would return it when I got to running electrical. Fast forward to today. I went to the return desk with my returns and they aren't able to return it so they sent Me to the next counter. The lady there stated she didn't know what it was and wanted me to go over the receipt with her. Ok. I'll help you do your job seeing as she didn't even look at it. Then she took a phone call as I'm standing there getting the receipt ready for her. As soon as she gets off the phone she says Daryl can do it faster just go see him. Meanwhile she is still doing nothing. I wait at the pro desk for about 10 minutes for Daryl to finish with another customers order. Daryl takes care of me just fine. The problem is the lazy lady at the customer service desk at 10:10 on Saturday 11/14/15. I'll add that I've picked up large orders of lumber by myself in this store while the workers just walk by and look at me. Only one time have I been asked if I needed help and that was just before they were getting ready to close. read more
