Placed my order and the email stated that my order would be ready in 3 hours, but to my surprise my items were ready in 30 minutes! I got in my vehicle and drove to pick up my order. I am writing to share my deep disappointment regarding a very frustrating experience I recently had with the purchase and delivery of a dishwasher from your store. What should have been a simple process turned into five weeks of repeated mistakes, delays, and inconvenience that left me feeling completely overlooked as a customer. September 27th Damaged product, delivery rejected October 4th Wrong Make/Model installed October 11th Damaged product, delivery rejected - promised White Glove Deliver on following delivery October 18th NOT White Glove Delivery, wrong team sent (needed hard wiring) October 22nd Finally, correct delivery along with install team, promised to be first delivery stop, but alas another miscommunication, and I was the third delivery of the day. As you can see, I spent four Saturday's waiting on Home Depot and finally taking a half-day off work to once again wait on Home Depot. The situation caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience, something I never expected from a company I've trusted for years. Given what I've endured, I am respectfully asking that Home Depot acknowledge this experience and offer appropriate compensation for the hardship and inconvenience I was put through. Went to the store and saw the paplver were on sale for $0.10 the loaded basket and then asked a representative if it was correct. Representative said no they were not and unloaded products and walked away. Call the store to speak to the store manager and was spoken to somebody by the name of Will who made me believe he was the manager and ended up getting disconnected. When I called back I talked to the service desk who spoke to store manager John about the product and I'm asked to have them honor the price which is by law and the service desk rep stated that John said that he would not honor the price. Price was very misleading and I felt as if it was a bait and switch product. Went back and double checked to see if the product was moved or if the sign was taken down and it was not. He was knowledgeable and suggested items I did not even know were needed. Love Home Depot, but customer service and competent coverage needed at this location. I was at this location in the evening of 10-21-2024 looking for a portable gas generator. At this location the generators are locked up in aisle 55 in lawn and garden. I happen to find a genorator around $400 I wanted to purchase, but that transaction never happen, as I could not find a home depot associate to unlock the case to purchase the generator. I walked around and asked 3 home depot associates. The first associate I asked stated I do not have the key, you need to go to customer service. So I went to customer service. Customer service stated they do not have the key, paged over the speaker for lawn and garden person for customer assistance in aisle 55. I went back to aisle 55 and waited 30 minutes, no one came. So I walked over to check out area to ask one of those associates for help. They talked to someone over their walkie talky thing and stating they will get someone over there. They told me to go back to aisle 55. I went back to aisle 55 waited another 30 minutes. No one came. It was like a dessert town over in that area as I saw no one. Seems like the more assistance you asked for the less assistance you get at this location. It has been 1.5 hours at this home depot, I know what I want to buy, but no one could help me, even when I asked for assistance. This was a waste of my time, so I got smart and just left. I blame poor management. This is a management issue and management should hold there people accountable. All starts from the top. Anyways nothing lost but my time wasted. I went to harbor frieght to grab my generator down the street right after I left Home Depot. It took me 10 minutes to purchase generator at Harbor Frieght. Note: I have spent over approximately $20,000.00 at home depot in the past 5 year (check my Home Depot account), this is not that much, but if I keep getting customer service like this, Lowes may be my new preferred store. Last month I was searching for an exterior doorknob by Schlage. What could be keyed and how is important when purchasing replacements for your home. I was lost and didn't even know exactly what to ask. In walks an answer to my prayer, Ms. Tonya Garcia, a millwork specialist at the Kingbridge (Sugar Land) store. She answered all my questions and ultimately guided me on how to get the doorknob rekeyed to match my other doors. Since this store didn't have anyone there to do this type of rekeying, she went above and beyond to locate a store with that service. Home Depot (for those who don't know) is a huge DIY store with almost anything you could want, except really good customer service. They have everything from gardening supplies, lumber, yard care, appliances, paint, plumbing, ceiling fans, etc... Most of us have been to one in our lives and know it's just a huge warehouse of home and garden supplies. This is no different. This Home Depot is located on the northern edge of Sugar Land right before you get to Houston. I've been to this location a few different times. This year I purchased a dryer from this location. It took me a long time to find someone to help me, but once I did he was good and efficient. Today, I went to find some light bulbs. You'd think a place this big would have them, but it didn't. They are a mile wide but an inch deep in inventory. So, sometimes they just don't stock what you need. I also found it very difficult to find anyone to ask. Of course, I'll be back. I ordered three toilets online. Two were canceled and refunded. I went to pick up the third toilets from the store in Jan. 26. around 6:30 pm. When the cashier called me over. I explained I was there to pick up one toilet and asked why were my other two canceled. She looked on the computer and said they are out of stock online and In store. She walks in the back came back out and said there's your toilet. You need to Gifu stop a flatbed so you can take it to your car. I told her I'm 64 years old and am not nor can not pick up a toilet. The stores have become more and more useless. That includes their staff, their product selection and now use of checkouts for customers to do it themselves. You (HD) had four employees standing around the registers, none are willing to help, people with transactions that walk off left them up on the screen and we have to implore for help to be able to check out. I know this might seem insignificant to some of y'all, but lately whenever I've gone to Home Depot, I guess their policy on customer service has changed. It usually takes me forever to receive help or even get an answer for a question because all the employees are either at customer service or restocking. Yesterday from this posting day, I needed to pick up some supplies to fix my dryer and this is probably the first time in years. I was able to find somebody them direct me to the exact place. The product was not only that when I picked up the wrong product I couldn't find what I Was originally looking for the same lady that directed me towards the products also came up behind me and to help me find the exact vent and clamps. She did it with a smile and levity and her voice and I was able to walk in the Home Depot and walk out in under five minutes, which has not happened since maybe 2008 so this is a shout out to the beautiful young lady that helped me out in the dryer/appliance section of Home Depot. Several customers were waiting in windows & doors. I asked the guy at the desk could he assist us. He said he did not work in this dept, the guy that does walked a customer to the front. After waiting 14 min, I went up front and ask a clerk to page the person working in windows and doors. The page NEVER happened. I called the store from my cellphone and was left on hold. I walked up to customer service and asked for the manager on duty. She just happened to be walking up. I began to explain there was no one in doors and she abruptly cut me off saying, "There is no one working in that dept this evening. I've been coming to this store since it was built and just in the past few years have I thought about going to Lowe's For some reason every time I come here the bulk pricing on the paint does not come up at the Register and I have to go back to the paint area take a picture of the shelf to prove myself. Sales Rep : GFM2WJV , did not have any knowledge on the washer ands driers which was her department. Asked for a recommendation and her response was, I'm not sure pick based on product reviews. She had a few customers in line, I asked how long is the wait time kindly, she ignored me. Then when it's my turn she's rushing to get to the next customer while I had patiently waited 25 minutes for her help. During the transaction she was so focused on getting my transaction done quickly, that she was making system mistakes and typing in the wrong address. I patiently waited and then she started to lose her cool and raised her voice due to her having to restart the process because she clicked on the wrong button in the system. I asked if she was okay, and she said sorry. Later got a manger involved who was able to get get me out in 10 minutes after spending like 40 minutes with her. This review is for the truck rental experience that I have. First of all is the price $19.99 for the first 75 mins and after that it is $5 each additional 5 minutes. This is a little pricey compare to Uhaul but I agree to the price so I can not complain about it. But reason make me not so happy is that I have to fill up the gas when I bring the truck back, of course I would not complain if the lady dont ask me that I have to show the receipt. I took the truck for 2 hours, I only travel about 8 miles total but when I fill up the gas it cost me almost $10 but the tank is not even full yet while the gas price is only $2 per gallon at this time, so I stop pumping gas and bring the truck back at near full, but after she checked the truck she told me that I have to put more gas because the meter is not go over the full bar. Come on! Full mean full lady I did put gas to the tank, but she still insist that I have to show the receipt, if not it will cost me $6 if they fill it for me. I have to bring the truck to the nearest gas station and put like $2.33 and the pump stop, I come back with the receipt to show her, and this time she let me go. It cost $55 total plus $12 for the gas for 2 hours truck rental and 8 miles. This is the most expensive I ever spent to rent the truck. I had rent the truck and Uhaul before and never had any problems. I would never rent The truck here again. read more

After researching and going to the Home Depot nearest me to purchase the tiles I needed, I founded it hard to find an associate for assistance. After finally finding someone to direct me to an associate for assistant - that associate (who is station in the tile section) was combative and refused to assist me with my needs. The associate I initially ask for assistant did pass back by and offer to assist me with my needs. His name was Glenn. Glenn change my opinion of Home Depot at this location at that time. He was helpful and went out of his way to assist me. All of this transpired on June 7, 2021. As of today (August 8, 2021) and I still have not received my tiles. The first set of tiles was delivered and put into the trunk of my car without inspection, and when I got home - I founded they were all broken. I placed a replacement order for my tiles on July 10, 2021, and HAVE NOT heard back from Home Depot. I called serval times and only got empty promises of a callback. I when online to lunch a complaint on July 25, 2021, and HAVE NOT heard anything about my tiles. I am not a big contractor or a home builder, but as a homeowner, my household needs are just as important as the big contractors and builders. If this is how they are going to treat homeowners, then do not sell to them. read more

I called the store the first time and was hung up on after 12 minutes. I called the store the second time and was hung up on after 14 minutes. I called the store the third time and vented a bit to the Patricia who was unfortunate enough to be the one that answered. She assured me that she wouldn't hang up on me and that she was sorry but they were very busy. She didn't hang up on me but she also didn't come back on the line or get my item number that I was checking on. 28 minutes later I arrived at the store (still on hold) to find the Customer Service desk staffed by 3 including Patricia who was typing on her computer. There were no customers at the Customer Service / Internet Order desk. She immediately asked if she could help me, and I asked if she had anyone on hold. She replied with the first part of my number, as a question, and apologized for forgetting about me. Had I not been in uniform on my lunch break I would have handled this differently, but as it was that was not the case. Suffice to say, however, that this experience will have me avoiding this store. This is precisely the kind of "don't give a shit" attitude that drove me to Lowes to begin with, but Home Depot is closer to the house so I recently started to give them a try again. I realize that my $1200 order isn't even close to being as large as many, but I'm inclined to spend it elsewhere if this is the kind of service I can expect.
